( A quick a dirty RP Interest Check. )

About me and my expectations:

I am 26 and in my final quarter of college. I won't be on every day but I try for every other day. I should be able to post a few times a week and I expect my partner to give at least one or two posts a week, as real life takes first priority. That said, I expect my partner to communicate any issues or delays, we're both adults, let's have respect for our fellow writers.

I use canon characters and want my partner to do the same. I play both genders without complaint but I do take issue when someone pigeonholes themselves into a corner by limiting the gender they write. It makes things tough for me and makes me feel obligated to play a gender (usually male these days) for someone who doesn't seem interested in pulling their weight. My ideal situation would be up doubling equally with two roles, one of each gender. It isn't required but it makes the plot open up more, I've found.

I stay on-site when possible and use threads. Should sexual scenes arise, we can go to PM for a while. I generally give 4-6 paragraphs and expect the same in return. All in all, if you're kind, proactive, creative, helpful and easygoing, we should get along swell. Finding passionate writers and helping each other grow, is why I do roleplay and I hope to find others who feel similar.

@Erklings25 I also found the connecting plot between one and two to be lacking, despite it leading into Moriarty, I couldn't really see what he gained by getting the gadget at the end of the first film. So if we do start things off with Mary and John meeting, it would be pre-movies so we do have a chance to have Irene appear at some point, as John seems to already know her and Holmes' relationship quite well. I'd wager we could start in the year 1885 maybe?

I hope we get to see more Mary in the third film. I loved her scene in the second film on the train. She's damn sexy and badass. Would you be up for doubling? One of us Holmes and Mary, the other John and Irene? Or something like that?

Last quarter. It feels good. Been applying to jobs and doing interviews. That is stress. :/

I hate seeing people comment in interest checks saying "I'm interested, PM me."

Like fuck! You're interested, you probably have something to say, you PM them and tell them you're interested so you can get a dialogue started instead of weakly waving a hand and waiting for someone else to make the effort. Honestly, when I see someone tell me to PM me, I wonder why they didn't use that time and effort to PM me instead. That's like someone calling me to tell me they want to talk, then hang up so I have to call them back.

@Erklings25 I know! I love the charm and girt of the movies, I'm pretty glad a third is already in the making.

I would say my ideas depend on who is involved, character/cast wise. I would love to do something between the first two movies or prior to the first one. I'd love it if the ladies (Mary and/or Irene) to become more involved in solving crimes. I'd like to enjoy the setting without leading up to a larger scheme too early, if you catch my drift.
