So many fucking issues with the show. I wanted to love it, I really did. But damn, ALTA did things so fucking well, romance was handled with dignity, characters developed, I wonder what so wrong. /sigh

Oh before I keep forgetting, should we use the colored I used in the header? Peru and Goldenrod for our two lovebirds? I don't care what we use for the side roles (while they're still side/minor roles lol) but I wouldn't mind some consistency and pretty posts. I wanna have a thread that say 3 years with hundreds of epic posts where quality has never diminished. We will be glorious! I think peru would suit Mako?

Maybe when Mako is helping Asami learn fire bending she can burn him up a little but she's so nice, she'd feel super bad right now and then unsure how to feel cause Mako is a dick but she wouldn't mean to hurt him physically or emotionally, despite what he did to her. Awwwh.

Did we want the child to be kidnapped or truly missing? If kidnapped I assume it would be for some ransom? The idea to maybe get him back before payment is made and likely the kid killed anyway?

Oh don't make excuses for them. >__> I miss Suki, she was so awesome. And fuck, why did they have to make Toph such a shit mother? I would think she'd wanna be a better mom than her own...oh well.

A park sounds good to me. Maybe they can snack on crepes and walk around. Then go see the others when there's smoke and such.

I don't think she should burn him, cause then she'll be sorry when it should be Mako's sorry-fest. XD But I think there could be some kind of flare or flame and then she could step back and show him what she's learned so far, saying it was meant to be a surprise but now he's a jerk and ruined everything.

Would you wanna start with someone basic that Holmes would balk at bothering with? Or something more complex? I was thinking a missing child, maybe one Mary looks after. Or it could be a missing trinket from the home she works at? Or someone sending blackmail to someone she knows?

Why do we have to do the development that should have been done in the show? -grumble grumble-

Yeah we can't really have two major events, plus as you said, whether or not they had a match doesn't matter, Mako isn't in the best state to fight anyway, so he'll probably sit it out to go out with Asami. Which is nice, picking your gf over a team sport...your gf helped sponsor. Shit Mako, why you gotta ruin everything? >___> It might be cool to have Mako and Asami go toward the attack when it's over to check on everyone, feelings aside Asami would wanna know Korra and Bolin and the others were okay.

I am thinking of having Asami reveal her bending ability to Mako in the first second or third post.

Unsolved Mysteries Abound

This is a Sherlock Holmes RP between myself and Erklings25.

We begin in London, 1885. John and Sherlock have just moved in together and have begun solving crimes together. Soon a young woman approaches them with a case that needs their utmost attention. The case does little to entice Holmes but Watson seems capable to undertake the case by himself. Mary and John begin their own meddling to solve the case at hand but not without Holmes occasionally lurking. I will take on the role of Mary and Erklings25 will take the role of Watson, with us adding more of Irene and Sherlock further down the line.

So everything sound okay thus far?

I felt like before this, Korra was suspicious of Asami but so far, Korra's thoughts hadn't been confirmed yet. We may wanna try and give them some chance to sort of get closer as gal pals before we reveal Mr.Sato's involvement. I think season one was horribly paced anyway...Though with Korra and Bolin need to be mended. And yeah, Mako and Korra were kinda never friends. He was often pretty cold to her, while she tried to act like it didn't bug the crap out of her. Does Korra have any friends at this point? XD

You do have a point, by getting rid of a distraction piece of entertainment, people can see the truth for what it is and how benders are running the city, pretty much.

We could have the attack happen the next night in the RP? Probably doing both events right off the bat would be a bit much. I think Mako and Asami would be out and about, I don't think at the arena. Maybe it would be safe to say Bolin and Korra are out too since the Fire Ferrets clearly aren't in the match this go around.

If Mako accepted Korra's 'totally innocent' offer, Asami would break things off right then and there. If Mako values his life and his relationship, he better start making things up to Asami, by starting by proving he and Korra are just friends.

Oh right. I wonder what Amon had against pro bending. I mean it's benders fighting benders, entertaining non-benders. Oh well. Maybe he just hates the game lol But yeah we could have Bolin and Korra about to see a game when it happens. I think there was an epic battle with Lin and Korra to try and defend the arena but oh well...Lin could be lurking for security purposes. But then again Korra and Bolin are minor (side haha) characters so we wouldn't really flesh out say the attack Amon makes on the arena with her fighting against his agents?
