Operation: Behind Closed Doors - Team Threeway
Kheshig is currently in the surveillence room in the back of the flower shop. Condor and Birdseed are outside the front of the shop, currently awaiting @Dragonite777's action to start the distraction part of the plan.

Operation: Surprise - Team Sneaky-Sneaky-Boom
Patch, Fox and Wise Owl are all currently in their car, parked around the corner from the target warehouse, discussing the plan before starting their infiltration of the facility. Awaiting @Avanhelsing's approval before moving ahead.

Overwatch - Archangel
Archangel is currently monitoring both teams and will provide support as required. Currently awaiting @Jangel13's report that the whole operation's a huge trap and that 50,000 heavily armed soldiers supported by tanks, assault gunships and a trained tyrannosaurus rex are on their way to wipe out both teams, the safe house and a good chunk of Cornwall.
As the acrid scent of the Electrick Floorbanger wafted over to Astrape she felt her mouth watering. It was just the kind of highly charged brew she needed and she quickly made her way over to the bar, leaning on the tattered wooden plank as she smiled sweetly at the monstrous bartender.

His mood seemed to have improved quite a bit since he'd stepped back behind the bar, but just to be sure of a warm reception the lightning goddess slipped her arm up under her chest, lifting her cleavage in what she hoped was a casual manner before starting to speak. "That smells divine," She said, fluttering her eyelashes coyly, "Would you mind mixing one up for me as well?"

Astrape was fully aware that she lacked any sort of currency which would be of use on the mortal plane, but usually her winning smile and ample 'personalities', which braced on top of her arm as they were seemed on the verge of popping out of her dress, tended to make sure she never had to pay for her own drinks anyway. Leaning back against the bar she peered round at the crowd of colourful characters, wondering which of them would be the first to offer to pay for her.
Angelo heard what birdseed said to him but seeing as how it was a quick notification Angelo believed that he shouldn't respond unless it was important for him to contact them...

What did Birdseed say to him? I think I missed it. :s

Any thoughts on Patch's infiltration plan?

Have you checked if any of the guards are female or gay? Maybe if Patch chats them up he'll be able to seduce his way inside.
Congratulations on getting that list done on a mobile. :)
@Commandant

At the moment we're waiting for the main thread to be started by @Cyanide Sweetie, and I think she's still looking for more participants before opening the roleplay properly.

In the meantime if you're serious about joining the adventure you're best writing up a character sheet giving some details as to the kind of character you'd like to play as. Nothing's set in stone yet, so feel free to make this into an extreme which can be trimmed back to fit the others once the game begins in ernest.

If you have any questions or problems, feel free to ask. I'm sure someone around here knows what they're doing. :p
It could be an easy way to balance a character if they choose to play as a different race, making it so they gain special abilities but will find it harder to either interact with or influence members of other races.

I could see it being useful if, for instance, a player chose to be an elf and they managed to get to an elf run country, since they'd have a 'racial bonus' for dealing with the natives, but if they ended up in, again for instance, an orc land they may find themselves getting attacked all the time due to a 'racial hatred' between the different cultures.

And that's before considering the language barrier.
@Aphelion From my understanding (by which I mean, don't quote me on this :p) Fairies were the nobility in the Land Beyond The Veil, while the term Fae covered any creature which resided in the Land. While all were touched by magic to some degree their actual natures and abilities varied drastically between different creatures.

Some were shapeshifters and could disguise their true forms from humans when dealing with them (either by changing their actual shape or by casting a 'glimmer' to obscure their appearance.) Others were tied to the elements and could manipulate them to varying degrees, such as Naiads and Nymphs who were tried to woods and streams respectively. While they were powerful creatures within their realms they became powerless and weak when out of them. For instance, taking a nymph from her stream would render her powerless to change shape and she'd slowly die unless returned to her home.

Were you planning on Nana having any special magical abilities in the simulation at all?

@SpookySquid What are race relations like between the different species in the game at the moment? Will @Aphelion be making life more difficult for Nana by making her Fae?
@Genni Umm except I don't play Birdseed? I play Owl?
I'm confused already.

'Owl'? Who said anything about 'Owl'?
*twiddles her thumbs and looks at the ceiling innocently, hoping no-one notices the recent edit of her last post*
@Jangel13 I'm waiting on @Dragonite777, since Birdseed's the Conversationalist in our team and could probably do a better job of acting like a normal customer in a flower shop than Condor could.

I think 'Team Sneaky-Sneaky-Boom' are waiting on @Avanhelsing since @SimplyJohn's last post ended with a question to Jack about the intel he was examining in the car on the drive to the warehouse.

If you want to chime in with any help or advice for either party now would be a good time, as they're both just about to hit the action and an update on intel might be useful.
[OUT OF CHEESE ERROR; REDO FROM START]

Leaning forwards over Murmur Astrape screwed her hands together apologetically, "Umm... sorry about this," she muttered, her eyes darting sideways towards the bar for a moment, "Would you mind if I... umm, topped up a little before we continue with this?" Just then the tavern door was kicked open as the half-troll who'd darted outside only moments before stormed back in again. @SimplyJohn "Right... Which one of you damn sodding fools set fire to my yard!?!"

Quickly shrinking back Astrape's eyes darted over to the bard by the bar, hoping he, as the only one who'd noted her entrance, wouldn't finger her as the culprit as she slunk slowly back into the shadows.
