I think that's the point with all of them. Who'd guessed the worthless glass eye Chuck tried to use as a ruse would turn out to be a valuable magical artifact after all? At least it plays into his role, validating his (fake) story a little more.

You forget that once you've caught 'shit in tiny balls' you unlock special abilities which lead to new areas where you can catch other shit in tiny balls, which in turn unlocks newer areas and even more shit in even more tiny balls. XD

The biggest problem with Pokemon for me was the whole trading dynamic. Not so much that you could trade, which in my opinion is a good feature to have for such battling games, but because different versions of the games made it impossible for you to collect all the creatures unless you either knew someone else with the other version and who was willing to trade rare creatures with you, or had more than one device and a copy of each version so you could trade with yourself.

For me that was just blatant commercialism, a bit like the new wave of games where you buy figures in order to unlock sections of the game, new fighters and new features. More undisguised attempts to milk money out of people.

As they skidded into the parking lot Condor grabbed the frame in front of her while keeping her weapon steady with the other the whole time. This wasn't the first time she'd raided a potentially hostile location, and she almost felt guilty about the giddy excitement the mission gave her, compared to the sedentary 'sneak-and=peek' assignment they'd had earlier. Almost.

Leaping down from the back of the vehicle Condor quickly swung her P90 round as she scanned the area. There didn't seem to be any targets in the immediate vicinity so she quickly made her way towards where Patch and Owl were sitting on the ground, out in the open. Condor was about to comment on how stupid they both were when she caught sight of the blood oozing out between Patch's fingers as he pressed his hand tightly against Owl's shoulder.

"Bad?" She asked, quickly and simply, the question aimed at Patch since Owl looked as though she'd either passed out or was close to it. No state to give a clear answer either way. Looking up Condor kept her eyes dancing around the area, spotting any possible hiding places for a gunman and making sure the shadows were clear, her hands holding her P90 steady and ready all the while.

As they stood inside the tent together CC carefully took the beautiful blonde's hand in hers, stroking her fingers over the back of it for a moment before looking up into the woman's eyes with a soft, gentle smile. "You're very beautiful," she said shyly, blushing slightly. This was always the hardest part of any relationship, especially when you never knew whether the other person was even attracted to other women or not. "I'd really like to get to know you a little better."

As she spoke CC gently stroked her fingers up the blonde's arm, trying to signal exactly what she meant as she fluttered her eyelashes at the beautiful woman, keeping eye contact with her despite the urge to gaze down as her wonderful breasts. "Can you tell me your name, at least?"

@Shadowcatcher Looks like both Shiva and Scarlet Knight are being held in reserve for now waiting on pilots, or for the other Jaeger to get trashed during training.

Not sure if Virginia would've even noticed her pink teammate crouching there and in need of assistance, but it plays well into what she was doing anyway so I didn't think it would be a problem.

With a roaring battlecry Idaho charged straight towards the approaching robots, bullets from her full-auto burst of fire ripping into the chest of one before she barrelled into a second and brought her rifle round to blast its head and torso until her ammo counter read empty.

Rolling forwards into cover of a low wall Kimmie quickly release the spent clip and slammed home a fresh one before reaching down to her waist and grabbing a grenade. Holding it for a couple of seconds, cooking it in her hand as she silently counted off the timer, she lobbed it over the wall into the next wave of robots. Looking up she suddenly spotted a robot looming over her, its arm raising to hammer down on her with brutal force just before something clattered on the floor behind it.

As the robot's head snapped around, searching for the cause of the sound, Virginia slammed into it, grabbing the robot tightly as she blasted its torso apart. Tapping her faceplate in salute to her colleague Kimmie smiled inside her helmet. "Thanks for the save," She called into her radio excitedly, "Fancy double teaming the rest of these tin cans?" Without waiting for a response Idaho leapt over the wall, laughing loudly as she fired another full-auto burst into the incoming robots, catching them off guard as they turned to target Virginia.
