I need to look over the game this is made from for a good trait like fandancers.

Good luck with that. Other than the bare bones of the combat system I... 'acquired' from @Behemoth542 I'm making most of this stuff up as I go along!
@GodOfWar Welcome to the party!

IC is live, but before you jump in there's a couple more things I'd like to make clear.

First of all, could IC posts be kept to the following format:

A good example of how this should be down can be found HERE

Secondly, during the mission briefing I'll give you the option of inviting one of my four characters along with you. Not all of them will be available for all missions but you should let me know here in the OOC which of them you'd like along for the party.

For this first mission your choices are:
  • Fandancer, the Mystic Shaman - a Magic Blocker
  • Nightbeast, the Feral Streetfighter - a Bio Blitzer
  • Nightingale, the Combat Medic - a Tech Support

Finally, there are special circumstances on this mission, civilians in danger area. As heroes it's your duty to protect the civilians and assist in evacuating them if possible. Too much collateral damage will lead to civilian casualties, and penalties after the mission. Manage to keep the casualties low, or actively save lives, and you'll get rewards instead.

Don't forget to check the area for details which could be important, or opportunities to gain an advantage over your opponents by using your talents creatively. These too will bag rewards.

How many people need to report in before we start?

With the four of you checked in we could start now, but I'll be out most of tomorrow so would only be able to do updates for the next few hours. If you're happy with getting the adventure started and taking a break tomorrow I'm all set to send you on the first mission.
I'm deliberately holding back on posting for now, as Freddy pointed out Etta's the support role in this group so would most likely let the others take point.

Actually, scratch that. She'd most likely get distracted by the carvings around the entrance and then sit for three hours designing a new type of microscope to analysis them in more detail before realising the sun had set and it was too dark to see anything anyway.

I have a headcanon that Mangy is the second smartest party member(Etta's got claims on that title) so having him sense darkspawn and warn others of danger would be right up his ally.

Well... there's a difference between 'smart' and 'clever'. Etta's probably the cleverest by a good margin, but 'smart'? No, no I don't think so.
She used to be a fashion model whose career ended when she walked down the catwalk without realising her clothes had phased through her body and she has a social activist running a hate campaign online about her after a 'casting couch' sex tape recorded during her first years as a model was released on the internet, so yes her middle name is pretty much 'fãs serviço'.
I think Nici's pretty well introduced at this point. The only way people could get to know who she is any better would be if I sent her for a shower scene and let her scrub some intimate places really well.
@Jangel13 Might be best, she has been in the building alone for quite some time and it might be best to check whether she's found the minibar.
@Revans Exile And very well received it was too.
One question, though; you seem to be using status effects like Bleeding and Weaponized, is there a thread that lists the rules for these effects?

At the moment the status effects are explained in each of the triggering power's descriptions. For example:
  • Vicious Slash - Energy Cost: 4
Striking deeply with her claws Nightbeast gouges a hole in her target, damaging for her normal Attack rating and causing the Bleeding status effect for 3 rounds. Target takes an extra 10% of the damage initially caused by this ability (rounded up) at the end of each round while Bleeding is in effect. Bleeding effect can be stacked.

If there's already a power which uses the same status effect then I'd advise to copy the rules already in place for it. I'll be keeping on top of whether the status effect is established or not, so don't worry too much about having to dig around for something to check whether it's new or not when adding it to your power.

Usually if you have rules which conflict with an existing status effect I'll simply ask you to rename it, worst case I'll tweak your rules to better fit the established guides. I'm trying to make the game as open as possible for people to make up their own powers and adapt them with abilities and traits, while at the same time balancing powers so as not to make any one character too powerful. Apart from mine, who are gameplay event characters so will tend to be a little more overpowered than most.

During the game I'll be interpreting all the character actions each turn and devising outcomes for the combined events, as well as coming up with enemy responses. Certain rules I'll be using are that all damage which isn't clearly stated as being a certain type will be treated as physical damage, so when writing any power description feel free to provide as much information as possible.
