@The Kid Lantern@Shadowman215 Parademon #1 is already KO'd, we're fighting Parademons #2-4 who had the following health before your attack:
  • Parademon #2 - 10
  • Parademon #3 - 10
  • Parademon #4 - 9

With a Speed of 4 you get four basic attacks plus your four Special attack per post, and if I'm reading it right the battle went something like:
  • Parademon #3 took one hit from Muramasa's Furious Charge.
    (-1 Health to Parademon #3)
  • Parademon #2 was then caught by a basic attack (sword slice) for a hit, followed by another basic hit (chest kick.)
    (-2 Health to Parademon #2)
  • Parademon #4(?) used Energy Blast on Muramasa, but was countered by Muramasa's Agility
    (-0 Health to Muramasa)
  • Muramasa used Blade Flurry, which was countered by Parademon #4's Durability (it would have to be Parademon #4, since both #2 & #3 have already exhausted their two activations of Durability for this battle.)
    (-0 Health to Parademon #4)
  • Parademon #4 uses Energy Blast on Muramasa.
    (-1 Health to Muramasa)

That should leave health levels at:
  • Muramasa - 11
  • Parademon #2 - 8
  • Parademon #3 - 9
  • Parademon #4 - 9

Does that sound about right?
When you say I won't be able to participate until the others follow me, does that mean that I'd have to wait for the others to finish the SWAT guys before I can fight the main villains, or would both fights be happening at the same time?

You'd have to wait. Basically if you go up onto the roof alone the girls will immediately find a way to disable you until the rest of the party catch up. You can imagine that being a Rock Off where you and they play music at each other with absolutely no effect, other than to attract the attention of a record producer in the street below who'll try to sign you all up on his label as a three piece.

This is simply because I don't want to be trying to keep two battles straight in my head at once, and if you do manage to beat them Rocksmith would get all the rewards for himself leaving the rest of the team dragging behind. :p

@GodOfWar Are you sure Heretic wants to go to the main hall, not the upper hallway where the SWAT Officers and his allies are?
I'm a little confused as to where everyone is. We're talking about unloading the boats, which would imply that we're at the docks in the southern tip of the island, but Tanya's talking about going into the labs, which would be at the centre of the island.

Map as seen at the ferry port when the kids arrive in the film

I suggested using the tramline since it's a good ten-fifteen minute drive from the labs to the docks, based on Nedry's timings for his theft in the first film and he was using the East Dock, not the south one, since it was closer to the labs. We shouldn't be anywhere close to the main buildings where we are.
@SimplyJohn and I just collaborated on that string of events, but thought rather than making one post which would bounce back and forth between us and only count as a single posting it would be fair to post each step separately to up the post count. Is that fair for the rest of you? Could we have posted just one report but counted each of the attacks as a new post count?

I'm going to hold fire where I am until I hear back from you now @The Kid Lantern, since Streak's hit the 5 post mark and I'd like to check with you as to how we're handling 'leveling up'. Is it just a case of choosing one of the basic stats and upgrading it, gaining an extra attack or defence automatically if we upgrade that stat?
Twisting her body round in mid-fall Streak brought her uninjured foot into line with the Parademon's groin, which has already proven to be a weak point in the species natural body armour. Falling with the full force of her body weight Streak landed with 24,000 Newtons of force, applied directly to her opponent's testes. With a deep, mournful cry the Parademon curled up on the floor as Streak vaulted clear, only to be struck from behind by sa burst of energy, which threw her face first into the ground.

Streak basic attack (meteor drop), followed by Parademon #3's Energy Blast.

Running up the side of the nearby wall with her super-speed Streak leapt into the air, bringing her foot down hard on the Parademon's head, her heel cracking hard against the beast's skull as she sent it smashing down into the ground. "Oww! Oww oww oww oww!" She muttered to herself at hyperspeed while nursing her sore foot and falling down towards the stricken Parademon. "Those damn this have hard heads, gotta remember that next time."

Streak basic attack (hammer heel), countered by Parademon #2's Durability, followed by Parademon #2 basic attack (hard head) and Streak basic attack (ground slam).

Parademon #2 - 10

Speeding forwards Streak swung a kick at one of the fallen Parademons, after all it had worked well enough the first time, why shouldn't it work again? Unfortunately this time the invader was ready for her and with a beat of its wings launched itself up into the air.

Streak basic attack (low blow), countered by Parademon #2's Flight.

@Eklispe It's going to take a round before you can get up the stairs, Flare wouldn't be able to shoot at the SWAT Officer until then. That's what the Exiled status effect is all about. :)

@Genni You really want me to blast the hell out of the people, right?

The bad people, yes. Not the nice people, the ones with the medicines and jet packs and not-evil musical instruments.
I'm sure the Marshal's just taking a very deep breath so he can talk at us for a very long time afterwards.
Isla Sorna, Visitor's Centre Approach - 8:57 AM

"It's stuck fast!" The escort called back as he rammed his shoulder against the gate for the umpteenth time. The security gates had been designed to keep dinosaurs out, but they'd also been designed for regular maintenance an in the hot, humid tropical conditions on the island it hadn't taken long for the metal to start decaying. "We could blow it open with a grenade, or try hacking it open with a pickaxe or something." The man was shouting, but Betty wasn't paying attention.

Off to one side of the path she could see the bushes rippling as if caught by the wind, but unlike most of the undergrowth these plants seemed to the rippling the wrong way. "Never mind that for now," she called out in a soft, measured tone. "I think we may have some company."

Moving with swift, coordinated precision the escort detail quickly took up covering positions around the Jeep, checking their safeties were off and rounds were chambered as the rippling got closer. Glancing back over her shoulder for a moment Betty was pleased to see two of the armed men were looking at the far side of the road as well, covering the flank just in case they were dealing with pack hunters, like the 'raptors.

As the rippling stoppe Betty found herself holding her breath as she waited for the penny to drop. Whatever it was stalking them was just inside the grass off the road now, almost close enough that a single good jump could've had it on top of the Jeep and right in her face, and as the tense seconds passed Betty found herself waiting for the monster to emerge.

When it finally did she found herself disappointed, the small Compy stepping casually out from the undergrowth as the gunmen trained their weapons on it. Betty thought she even heard one of the guard chuckle to himself as he lifted his rifle up, dismissing the small creature as harmless. A moment later a second Compy leapt from the cover of the grass, quickly followed by a third. Before long a swarm of the small creatures were jumping, stepping and leaping out onto the hard packed road with more following by the second.

Betty could tell the men around her were getting nervous, sweaty hands shifting on their rifle grips as the wave of critters moved slowly closer and when one sprang up onto the back of the Jeep the guard inside panicked, firing off his weapon as he blew the small creature to pieces, spraying blood over Betty as he did.

Outside the swarm stopped dead as they began to give off a low, soft hissing which at first Betty wasn't even sure was really even there as she pulled a handkerchief from her sleeve and dabbed the blood off of her face with disgust. The noise grew louder though, with more voices joining the chorus until the whole pack were chanting together.

Almost as one the pack began to move again, marching closer as the soldiers took careful aim, choosing their targets amidst the throng. "Hold your fire!" One of the men called out, his voice cracking, but it was too late. As the animals leapt forwards the soldiers will finally broke and they opened fire, mowing down the animals as the driver gunned the engine, slamming the Jeep forwards into the gate and smashing through it with their reinforced chassis.

Suddenly Nellie-79 was there with them, her jaws snapping left and right as she fought her way through the wave of scavengers. Betty lost sight of the magnificent animal as the Jeep rounded the corner and passed behind the trees, btu Nellie-79 didn't even notice her Mistress had gone, she was far too busy ripping the smaller creatures apart even as they nipped and snapped at her face.

The fight was soon over but not in the way Nellie-79 expected. A deep, resonant roar sounded from closer than she was comfortable with and the Compys began to scatter, heading off across the road and vanishing into the undergrowth, leaving their dead and dying siblings behind. Reaching down with the jaws Nellie-79 quickly snapped up one of the carcasses, carrying it off in her mouth as she made her way along the road, heading for the Visitor's Centre.
