It looks like Brick is still trying to take control of the situation and give orders...which he is failing to do in a spectacular manner.

I wouldn't say he's failing spectacularly. Astonishingly perhaps, but not spectacularly.

Then again, they also did the Marvellous Spiderman and the Incredible Spiderman so those could be adjectives to use as well.
There is no problem with introducing something later into a game, Thousands of videogames wait for the boss fight to present a new combat option. I like the idea of combined attacks providing a multiplier for everyone involved, so the more combos the higher the bonus.

Just as long as they're all legal moves which add to the final effect. Someone just standing on the side lines cheering the squad on wouldn't add to the combo multiplier, but someone on the sidelines playing a rousing anthem to rouse their fighting spirit or summoning demons to drive the fighters onward would.

Basically each player in the chain would have to be using an activated ability or trait, rather than just a standard action in order to benefit from the bonus. Although you could have the final member of the chain using a standard attack after having been buffed by several other players.

Also some powers could take advantage of the status effects applied by other characters, similar to how Deimos can chain Kai Lao into Yamazuki into Kuchiki Daoshi for added effect. For instance, after Bumblebee Shocks a target Sigma could draw the energy from them, gaining both a boost to the attack and an Energy bonus for the power he's collecting, but negating the Shocked status effect in the process.
I'm thinking about adding a new feature, a way for people to earn extra XP: Combo attacks!

If two or more characters can coordinate their assault to expose an enemy's weaknesses and exploit them then all the characters involved would be awarded a Teamwork XP bonus, on top of any other bonus they may receive.

Would that be fair, being introduced this far into the game?
I'm going to assume these special conditions are the heroes being defeated. But either way, don't you think that's a little OP?

Yes, she's a boss and is supposed to be difficult to defeat.

If you can find a way to stop her playing then the effect comes to an end, but actually getting her to stop is the problem. Between you all the squad has the right combination of abilities and traits to take her down, and @SimplyJohn was on the right track when he was talking about combining your talents together in the right way to pull off the victory.
How would one establish a grapple and what would the benefits be?

You'd just have to say in the narrative that you were trying to grab hold of someone and then I'd play it from there. I'd be looking to compare the relative Attack and Defence ratings of the characters involved, along with their special abilities, but trying to grapple a boss like Thrash probably wouldn't work.

A successful grapple would result in both individuals being unable to take any actions other than struggling against each other, while the attacker tried to keep the target trapped and the defender tried to fight them off.

If you were thinking about grabbing one of the Cheerleaders, I'm sure they wouldn't mind a little tumble on the rooftop. They're all horny little minxes and a big strong man pinning them down and trapping them in front of everyone could have some very interesting results.

When does downbeat/beatdown wear off?

Either the turn after Thrash is taken out of action or when other special conditions are met, which wouldn't be very healthy for the team.
If we could get Thrash away from her drumkit, with a TK push or body slam or something similar, and then trap her with the Void Prison, would she be able to summon he4r drumsticks again like she did before?

Yes, because... *bullshitbullshitbullshit* ...magic!

In that case, if @GodOfWar Heretic uses Minor Mutation before Bumblebee uses her stingers we should be able to use the Attack boost to increase the power generated, giving Sigma the Energy he needs to take out the Cheerleaders.

What you're basically saying is that the Cheerleaders should target Bumblebee with all their attacks in the next round while she's vulnerable on the ground, before she has a chance to recover her Energy to set your little plan in motion then?

Would Void Prison be able to stop Thrash from being able to keep playing?

No, the Immobilised status effect would prevent Thrash from moving away from her drumkit, but wouldn't stop her from being able to play it while trapped in the prison.
@Behemoth542
It would mean that Sigma would take 3 Health loss and possibly be Shocked, weakening his Defence...

That wouldn't work. By the time you get to that round Thrash's Crescendo will be reducing both Sigma's Defence and Bumblebee's Attack by 4 points each. Even with the Void Sphere's extra 3 Defence to soak up the Energy you wouldn't be able to generate enough power with your attacks to give him the charge it'd need for the Bullet Barrage.

And just for the record, if you did use Sting Like A Bee on Sigma it would become Shocked just like any other target.
You have no idea how right you are.

Unless he's totally wrong and both girls had extra defence against ranged attacks, in which case that tactic will really screw you over and leave you at the 'mercy' of the cheer squad.
Why am I still disorientated? Everyone else has recovered.

Rocksmith moved first on the turn when the flash bang was set off, so he hasn't spent two turns disorientated yet. Since the others all acted after Brick set the grenade off they've completed their two turns with the status effect already.

Rocksmith won't be disorientated on the current turn though, since it'll clear at the beginning of the round.
