I guess my comfort zone is "eccentric side character."

The ball swooshes on down through the hoop and right into Shemps outstretched hands. No way was anyone stopping that. He dribbles the ball back to half court, takes it in his hands, and goes to shoot.

It's subtle. So subtle he doesn't notice it as he pulls his elbows back. A sort of "Clicking," as though his arms have slotted perfectly into place. He doesn't notice until he's started to shoot, and by then it's to late to do anything about it. His arms blur as they shoot forward, seemingly moving from near his chest to outstretched in a single instant, and there's a deafening *BOOM* as the ball leaves his hands at just a hairs breadth of the speed of sound. The bullet of a ball flies of course, hits the corner of the backboard, and explodes into a cloud of orange rubber confetti.

Shemp stares down at his arms for a moment, trying to process what's happened, before looking up with the biggest shit eating grin anyone has ever seem. "Told y'all you'd know when it happened! MANTIS SHRIMP!" and he raises both arms in the air. Then he looks over and eyes the tattered remains of the ball, and puts his arms back down. "But that's a foul, right?"

"Settle down there spazzy." Said Shemp walking over to the downed cat and extending his hand. "You okay Oliver."

"Whoa, easy man, easy, it's all good. No harm no foul." Shemp said. "C'mon dude, no need to bite anybody over a trip in basketball. It happens. Sides, you start biting, then someone else does, and all of a sudden it's a zoo down here."

"Wouldn't be an issue if you kept a better eye on it." Shemp said good naturedly hopping up from the ground.

Then Shemp runs up behind him and smacks the ball down out of his tail with a mighty shout of "WHA-POW!" before catching it and passing it back to Roxy.

So Raptors are still probably little assholes? Good. It would be weird if they were all goody-goody. Coincidental Anti-heroes (Kinda like the female Rex from the first film) is the best Raptors could ever get.

The raptors in the first were explicitly insane, which is made more clear in the original book where their leader kills every new raptor they try to put into her pen and they throw themselves against the electric fence over and over again on the off chance that, this time, it won't shock them.

The tribe in three was also perfectly reasonable once communication was established.

"Just to keep thing fair, buddy. I'm sure it would be a big hit top moral to get your ass demolished by a housecat." Shem said, making his way to the field. He looked around at his team and said. "Right, I've never formally played this game. I understand dunks and that the farther away you are from the enemy hoop the more points you get. Someone tell me where to stand."
Real name: Tyler Bacon
Age: 29

Appearance: Tall, sort of out of shape Caucasian male with short brown hair. Built like someone who has only just recently started to show the effects of steady exorcise.

Personality: It is very rare to see Tyler Bacon truly happy, but on the other hand it's rare to see him truly angry. He mostly seems to exist in a state of perpetually perplexed melancholy, the strongest emotion he ever shows is annoyance. A very practically minded person whose sense of wonder seems to have shriveled up and died a long time ago, he's liable to be more impressed with someone starting a fire with a flint and steel than, say, obliterating and entire countryside with a concentrated blast of it. Generally stupid, having a very simple view of most all situations. Doesn't like to bother people with his problems.

History: Tyler is a traveler, though not by his own choice. A delivery man and furniture mover, he hit it off with a rich heiress named Stella Trombold while helping her move in to her new mansion. For the life of them their friends could not understand what she sees in him, but prevailing theory is that she enjoys his simplicity and the fact that he doesn't talk back much. Stella herself is a bit of an adventurer, and Tyler dutifully gets dragged along to the four corners of the Earth by her. He would much rather they be at home, doing something simple like watching television and while he's sure the bug and frogs and things are lovely if you like them, he would much rather have a sandwich. He tells her these things as often as they come up, but never actually finds it in his heart to refuse.

He is currently on another vacation right at this moment, Stella having given him a little free time to wonder about on his own.

Starting items: Small traveling bag, Guide to (Wherever he is before the first jump), three sandwiches, 2 bottled water, $650 cash allowance, small umbrella, cellphone.

Ability: Phantom Limb
A third hand that floats about independently of Tyler, controlled by his will. About as strong and dexterous as a normal human hand, but doesn't get tired and is much faster. Able to move freely through non-living things. Tyler always knows where the hand is.
That raptor should also have its arms crossed.
A power that's simple yet versatile, with room to expand and easy to modify.

I'm thinking just a spectral hand.
