Well, this wasn't so bad. He wasn't really tired, mostly because he had no idea what time it was in this place, and this rooms was really small and only really had a bed and a toilet. Normally he'd be board as all hell by this sort of situation, were it not for his little passenger. This small, confined space actually seemed to calm the feeling down. On some level, he felt, this was were he was meant to be; small, safe, dark, and alone. Honestly, considering the complete dickheads that he shared this complex with, he couldn't really argue with it. So he settled back for a night (or day, seriously he had no idea what time it was) of peace.

Then the lights shut out in the room and a tiny slit in the door opened up. He heard something roll in, and sat up on his bed to look down.

That's when the flashbang went off.

Someone had decided he looked to content. It happened again, at random times, throughout the rest of his confinement. At one point they ran out of flashbangs and decided to substitute an anti-riot claymore. Once the door swung open and someone had thrown basketball at him because people just get board on guard duty. Later that night someone rushed into the room, tased him again, and took the ball back.

Well, personally, I don't think it matters what I think. What matters is if Vlad would think it was effective.

I don't know really. I already got tased to hell and locked in my. Probably nothing physical because beating an animal you expect to work with is pretty much the stupidest decision ever.

By dearth of other ideas, I'm going to have to say confinement, with Zain, Oliver, and Shemp getting the worst of it.

Jumping through the multi-verse

The invocation caught Tyler's attention, as well as the sudden lighting that split the air. He looked up from the ground as the thunder echoed away into the forest. His eyes went to the rhino thing, which seemed none the worse for wear, to that guy Matt, to the book in that guy Matt's hands, back to the rhino thing, back to Matt, back to the book ect. ect. until finally he put it all together in his head.

Wizard. It was the only logical explanation.

He saw the Matt the Wizard brace for impact and jumped up back to his feet. This wizard was probably planning to wipe his memory if they survived this, but first they had to survive this. "Hey, what are you doing?" He said urgently. "Cast another one. Cast a flying spell, or a invisible spell, or a castle spell. Come on, don't just stand there do something!"

He heard shouting from the woods at that point, something unquestionable heroic. Probably a knight. Knights were always saving maidens, and the Wizard was here. Knights followed from wizards, but she sounded occupied right at the moment. "You're the only one that can save us!" He pleaded. "At least buy a little time for that knight to get here."

"Knew we were near the zoo." Tyler said as he slowly got down on one knee before the encirclement of strange animals. They must have escaped from the zoo. He'd never been the the central park zoo, he didn't know what they had. Sure most of these things looked pretty strange, but he hadn't seen every animal. There were animals out in the rainforest that no one had ever seen. There was bigfoot and his like. There were giant birds. That must have been what had happened, in fact. A giant bird had picked him up and dropped him somewhere near the zoo. Probably got these guys as well, explaining why they were so confused.

He reached out his arms and touched the guys next to him to get their attention and nodded his head downwards at the ground. "Play dead. Animals don't hurt ya' if you're playing dead." He went lower, slowly laying himself on the ground.

Shemp is thrown bodily into his room, and the door slams shut behind him as he pushes himself up off the ground again. "What? You don't want to stay, hang out a while?"

Nothing from the door. Silence.

"You've done a an amazing service to your country today." He says as he stumbles over and flops down on his cot. Well, he guessed that was day one down. The first day of school is always the hardest. Maybe if he laid her a rationalized hard enough he could convince himself that signing up for this had not been some huge, monumental mistake.

It was going to take a lot of rationalization though.

Everyone got tased, dude. Everyone got tased all at once. They were opening up a whole can of taser in that room, or else they were coming to take all our money.
