I guess my comfort zone is "eccentric side character."

"Ms. Gilboa?" There was a knock at the driver side window. It should come at no surprise at this point that Daniel was the first out the door, despite the fact that Ayashe had already been at the door. He looked in at her with kind little eyes. "If we were walking into a abattoir Sir Fukui would have told us, to prepare us. But he didn't, so that means the children are missing. Missing. Not dead. That could mean anything, and it does us no good to assume the worst case scenario." "They are alive and we will find them." He says proudly. "If I am a liar may the light forsake me forever."
So am I.
It's not as much setting my weapon on fire as much as using a logia fruit swordsman.
I guess I just can't wrap my mind around someone wanting to play something as boring as a logia.
My character will be a logia XD
Yeah, but why though? There's a reason that there isn't a Strawhat with a Logia power, it kills tension. You can be attacked in, at most, 5 different ways; Surprise, Seastone, Haki, being dunked in the water, and whatever particular weakness your fruit has. Of these Seastone is super rare and only available to people of influence or Marines who have maybe a few net guns, Haki doesn't become relevant until you're almost halfway through the Grand Line, since no one can grab you the only way water comes into play is if your ship is shot out from under you (not likely, seeing as Logias are living artillery cannons capable of throwing around huge amounts of their element in whatever direction they choose), you might not even have a specific weakness depending on the Logia Fruit you ate, and the surprise thing can be countered by training your defensive transformation to be automatic. Anything that isn't one of those things? You are golden! You can walk through any attack, yawn off any giant monster, kind of just take a leisurely stroll through the Grand Line until you're almost at the New World at which point you start getting ruined because, holy cow, things are now actually capable of hurting you. You are finally consistently in danger of dying. This creates a weird dilemma, sort of like a reverse Aquaman situation. You ever seen the old Superfreinds cartoon? Well, since Aquaman was one of the main characters they always had to send the League somewhere where Aquaman had something to do, or they'd have a aquarium, or a fishtank, or something. The point is, they always had to write in something for Aquaman, even if they were in the middle of the land they had to have something where Aquaman could do his thing. If Aquaman was involved they had to write around Aquaman because otherwise he had nothing to do. With a Logia, you have to write around them. You always have to have their weakness knocking about in a fight or they have literally already won, and then they can go and win everyone else's fight because that only makes sense because they're not hurt. You have to write something, to include something, to keep the Logia locked down so they don't spoil the tension of the entire situation. We start at Lougetown. For a long time locking a Logia down is going to mean Seastone, and that going to get weird because that stuff is supposed to be rare. So either I'm not being threatened by anything, or I'm reduced to a normal, non-fruit powered person (or just taken out of the equation) whenever things get important to preserve tension. Either way, I'm bored.

Would a jellyfish Fishman be immortal like a normal jellyfish?
One thing I'm kind of confused about. What are traits?
Name: Remy Ramsey Age: 22 Race: Humam Height and Weight: 5'9'' Appearance: A man with short blond hair and starry green eyes. Stick thin, but dresses smartly with a white shirt, black dress pants and button up vest, and a pink bow-tie. Bounty: 0 Beli Personality: Remy is very eager to please, accommodating to a fault, and doesn't have very much self worth. His confidence is a shaky sort that crumples at even the slightest criticism and he can't really accept praise without thinking that its just pity. He's sort of like mush; you can't really build him up, but you also can't break him down. This is why he continues to follow his dream in the face of all criticism, even though he also considers it an impossible one to achieve. History: Remy is a chef. He knows for a fact that he is a chef. His heart is the burning heart of a cook. It is unfortunate, then, that he is such a terrible cook. It's not even about nutrition. What he cooks is edible. It may even be nutritious. It will certainly keep you alive, it's just that you'll wish you were dead. He can't help it. Ever since he was a kid helping out in his parents restaurant he's been awful. The boy can't even boil something without seemingly sapping all its flavor away. His father realized this early in his career and forbid him to ever even enter the kitchen. Instead Remy acted as a waiter, which he was actually good at. He was an amazing waiter, it was like he was born to do nothing but wait tables. But Remy wasn't a waiter. Remy was a chef, and so at sixteen he took all the money he'd saved up and set out to the sea to try and improve. Being laughed out of every school he could find and in most cases thrown off every ship where he touched the food, his wanderings eventually led him to Lougetown where he's been trying to book passage to the Grand Line. Because "Black Leg" Sanji sailed the Grand Line, and he ended up the best chef ever. So maybe it would spit him out a somewhat average chef. Abilities: Remy is the worst cook ever. In the history of time. His dad used to joke that if Remy was the chef on it you could sail a ship up and down the Calm Belt without fear of sea kings, because they'd spit you out as soon as they ate you. It's not even that the food will make you sick, it just tastes bad. This is in contrast to his skills as a waiter, because he's perfect at it. Not only does he have an air-tight memory, but perfect balance. He could walk across a tightrope carrying a stack of plates 30 high and not drop a single one. While blindfolded, if someone told him to just walk straight. He can also just toss things. He can chuck a plate of soup out the kitchen door and land it right where he was aiming, face up, without having spilled a drop. He can also do this trick with bowls, glasses, and at one point a whole party platter. Techniques: Traits: Inventory:Really just the clothes on his back and a set of cookware that he keeps diligently shined.
Daniel was slowly standing up throughout the conversation Sir Fukui was having. He touched the bundle on his belt, pulling out the draw string to reveal all his little colored capsules. He swept over them with his eyes, double checking to make sure that each one was in its correct place, before letting go and allowing the whole thing to snap back into his belt. This was his entire preparation ritual. Unless Daniel was asleep he was prepared, and even then he would have his weapons on hand. Always be prepared to fight, this is what his mentor had drilled into him. "It is unbecoming of a knight to gamble." He said sharply, pointedly ignoring the rest of what the Russian had suggested. He also makes his way to the door. "Or to make assumptions without knowing all the information. If it was at least daytime we could rule things out, but..." He trails off, and stops short of the door before turning around. "What sort of school bus runs at this hour?" he says, perplexed, to the room.
Do you really need the Flame-Flame Fruit? Setting your attacks on fire is just something that One Piece characters seem to be able to do, and it would let you do sick boiling water attacks to make use of the fact that you're a Fishman.
