No yeah, lets keep the feelings in the IC guys.
I actually really like the challenge, to be honest.

Both are in the wrong here. Silvern is clearly doing a power play and others are going to fall for it(see Gillian). Its a hard sell to put your faith in someone many would see as a kid, and any minor mistake is going to get blown out of proportion.

That said, Tyaethe is the voice of the super conservative members. So, even if outside the order this would seem like a bad idea, She's unlikely to change her opinion over night (if ever). Fanlily will always be the exception for her, and thats great! That she can trust someone that much speaks a lot to her character, and fighting for it doubly so.

So lets just take a step back and pet the hundi.
Gillian could not believe his ears as Juliana walked away from the insanity. She might let this display go uncommented, but he would not. “You think to lecture others on the purpose of our order?” Gillian asks, glaring daggers at the undead knight, all sense of the party now lost to the growing agitation in his gut. “How is it then that you, the oldest of our order, spend much of your time hiding in Candaeln? Standing sentinel over a blade that hasn’t been wielded in the name of protecting another in a golems age!” He resists the urge to spit, continuing. “Sentimental tripe! If your words were anything more than air, you’d not waste your time acting as a glorified museum feature. I’ve ventured to most every corner of Thaln, and hunted its enemies in forests that entitled features, for I hesitate to call you a member, of our order like yourself are ‘too good’ to dirty their boots in.”

He takes a deep breath, and for a moment feels the gaze of the growing crowd to the argument, incensed by the accusation that the young Silvern would leave civilians to die. “And, I find it a joke that you’d suggest training without experience as a fault of Sir Silvern.” He says, firmly. “After all, for all her potential, Danbalion has all the experience, if not less so, than even our greenest squire. And yet she is trusted with our lives. By your own admission, an idea which is foolish at its core. And you are quick to excempt her of this, held aloft as she is by some archaic tradition that has long out lived its purpose. Though, perhaps its easy to dismiss the wisdom of good tactics, when you yourself are at far less risk of the consequences. I to would be more inclined to fight dragons with such bravado were I neigh incapable of death. I will come to respect her title as my captain when she has earned such reverence.”

He leans down to Tyaethe’s level, the years of pious nonsense of the orders more conservative members manifesting as a challenging glare of contempt. “You speak of arrogance and guesswork as the failing in the report. But I am not alone in thinking the contrary. Nor, Do I think, am I alone in thinking that, despite your age, you are 400 years too young to be calling anyone a child.” Somewhere in the back of his mind, Gillian knew that at this point, the disturbance they were causing had to be sizable. Damn the consequences, he would not allowed Tyaethe to belittle a comrades devotion or insult his years of training and hard work. Especially not one who clung to the past so tightly.
And then they made out...(no)
“A…mighty fine report Tyaethe, though probably a little on the melodramatic side. “ Gillian says quietly ,feeling the eyes of a few nobles turning on him and the small knight. “I mean, you make it sound like she fell the man on her own in glorious single combat. Poor bastard was swarmed by…I think atleast two other knights after locking blades with the good captain. I think Delacroix threw a lightning javelin at him during the commotion.”

He wanted to ignore the comment about him acting out of his rank. It was a level of posturing Gillian never had the stomach for, and he got the feeling arguing that point would be wasted on the undead girl. However, the fact she felt it necessary to bring up the dead knight crossed a line. “Our fallen companion then gave his life because he failed to give way to the captains honor then?” He asks, his voice only barely even in its temper. “I was under the impression that our orders mission was to fight the enemies of Thaln’s peoples. Not raise our swords in battles of ceremonial rite for its commanding elite. Thank you for the clarification.” He sighs, taking a second to calm down, rubbing his shoulder.

“The captains actions are more than noteworthy enough without the omission of facts to enhance the fiction. She has no need to throw the sacrifices or acts of her subordinates under the rug to show she deserves her station. Nor should you on her behalf.“ He adds sternly, but calmly. The elder knight should have known better, in his mind. Acts like that did nothing but harm, dangerously inflating egos and painting an ugly picture of the order. “…And yeah, Tyaethe does generally look much bigger in the armor. Though, I don’t think she’s ever explained how she manages to move the bulk of it.” He says, visually measuring the undead knight. “My suspicion is magic. Though what form I could not tell you.” He adds, wanting to steer the conversation swiftly away from evaluating the captain further, and the argument he and the undead would possibly get into.

Well, Fanilly was isolated at first. So it... was? That seems like the bit you'd commemorate. Not the "and then we swarmed him/someone launched a lightning javelin into a close battle for some reason" part. xD

No yeah thats fair, its just Tyaethe is making it seem like Fanlily like, ripped her shirt open and went full Steven Segal on the bandit king.
Like, she's brave, sure. But "then we swarmed him like the worlds most well armed bee hive' is also really important.

Because she views Marianne's actions as about worthy of note as who made breakfast. He had no chance by that point anyway. :P

Also, it ruined the fight. D:

Even then, you still had Sir Garret and sult helping.
So its not like it was a 1v1 kind of deal.
Edit: Do what you will, don't let my complaints formulate your character actions xD

Nah, it'd be in character. He's not a huge fan of warrior grandstanding, Nor blowing undue smoke up anyone's butt.
which Tyaethe just did like, in spades.
I feel sad that no one has yet to remember or recognize that Marianne was the one that delivered the killing blow. Is that conceited or selfish of me? xD;

Was actually about to make a post where Gillian brings that up!
Can still do that if you want!
She's either dead or we're gonna break that cutie.
Just smash that innocence all over the palace floor.
Like a puppy shaped vase.
Aww man. Princess is so dead. :(
