I mainly want to add the defects because I feel like it, I've been on this site awhile and as I've seen most people pick "pretty people" as their face claims. I'm not going to rant about it too much but let's just say I'm a little tired of pretty, besides the Greek Gods were about as flawed as the rest of us and I like the idea of something as powerful as a god having something out of their control... like being born with a club foot.

Plus the point of character is for them to prove to everyone that they aren't something that needs to be coddled or kept safe and secure. They are strong, they know this with all their heart, but everyone's first impression is "Oh, they need a healthy dose of pity," and they absolutely hate it. They are going to prove to everyone that they are strong enough to stand by their own will, not leaning on the shoulders of others for all eternity.

EDIT: Sorry if this a little gung ho, I'm working on like... half a braincell and four hours of sleep. And it's 1:14 AM

As a child of Hephaestus my character is going to have defects that I won't be able to replicate with any random picture on the internet, so would it be cool if I just wrote up a physical description instead?

Been mulling an idea for a character with psychic abilities around but wanted your input on the subject before I did any real thinking. It'd be like Mass Effect Biotics mixed with a little empath stuff.

Ok, this is taking me a bit longer than I thought it would. Basically my guy is going to be from a race of "Big Hulking Fighters" not unlike the Throgg, except that he's going to be sneaky. Think of him as a commando, sneaks about and executing key targets/planting bombs before his home solar system got swamped by the pure numbers of the Throgg. Here is the picture I'm going to use, if thats cool.

We could just have a smorgasbord of all of those, maybe while the gods are bickering amongst themselves some of the titans are weighting for their shot at another Titanomachy, waiting for the gods to wear themselves down before making their move.
