"Armies obtain intelligence." Eryx stated as he walked back in, throwing the file down on the table. "We require more than blindly running in and using our abilities to fight. You're not immune to bullets, stun guns, or other various hazards. If blindly throwing dangerous people at the front lines was all it took, simple things wouldn't be needed. Then again it appears intelligence isn't a strong suit here." He resumed his seat, eyes flickering furiously as he inspected everything around him though likely only the fast one would be able to see that.

"Psych evaluation from ONI? I'm a Spartan two, I was forged in ONI Section Three and my mindset was favorable or I wouldn't have gotten this far. Report me, I'm eager to see your reaction when they reject or flat out ignore you. This is the way your little friends made me, soldier, man up." He redirected his gaze on to grazed woman. "Don't kiss ass, just try not to be a pain in it. You're now using a weaker weapon in an uncomfortable manner that could cause problems because you weren't trained properly as a Spartan, and you're letting a flesh wound get the better of you."

He turned to the newcomers location, setting him into the teams comms frequency. "Fall in, we're advancing on the mission location. How much have you been briefed?"

@AlphaWolf215 He doesn't want friends, it's upsetting to him. Because if his particular defects he's physically classed above the others of the generation. The regime of medicine and training was much more intense on first gens, you'd have to read further into the lore but if a gen one is still alive at this point I certainly wouldn't want to see one angry.

[Edit] Yes, he's an ass, and he knows full well he isn't truly indestructible, but he's also been at this his entire life and feels that way. His service record (Aside from killing his own men for getting in the way) is flawless, and an operations team like quantum would likely be ordered from ONI Zero depending on the data in the armor being overseen by ONI Delta 6. Any reports he would file would be completely redacted or ignored, if they allowed him to make reports at all. If he's from sec 1 he's about to enter a new security level and lose old status to report on missions and the like. ONI presence is about to disappear here.

@Kurai Assassin Eryx doesn't like adopted Spartans, it's his soft spot as you see cx It's true though, first Gen's are literally unbeatable by anything less than another first gen. Standard bullets move in slow motion for them, even if they didn't have the enhancement equipment like he does. The experimental chemicals made badasses, and if it didn't take so many years to make more, ODST's never would have been allowed to be Spartans at all

"You lack vital injections and training, adopted Spartans are far slower, weaker, and less disciplined." He states firmly, rearming himself as they exit the building. They're handed armor, barely knowing what to do with it and have to be retrained. Their minds and emotions make them have stupid decisions and morality leads to failed missions. ODST's are adopted to be cannon fodder for real Spartans. With chemically enhanced minds, bodies, and vastly superior training, it's literally impossible to beat a first generation Spartan unless you are one. Read up a little more on what a Spartan really is, child.
