Meet Amatsurahashi Mikoto. A young man standing at 1.79 meters who probably spends more time looking at himself in the mirror than actually fighting.
His long red hair made into a ponytail is probably the one with the best care in the whole army, even among the women.
His fair skin has so many layers of creams and other chemicals that some men think he'll explode if there's some fire near him.
His blue eyes have never been seen in another state than their almost always perfect one in which Mikoto keeps them. There are some rumors going around that say his eyes can't actually be that pretty alone, saying that they MUST be using contact lenses.
He is so picky with his food and training menu to keep his slim, yet strong build, that many come to take his advice on how to take better care of their own physique.
Amatsurahashi Mikoto, the man who spends a lot of time trimming himself and is actually not gay. That is the man standing before you.

Have you ever met that one person that just seems to sing everything when he talks? That's the kind of person Mikoto is. A lot of people think he is annoying, but he just shows no signs of changing.
Ever since he was a child he's had one rule with which he lives by. To never change himself even if others want to change him. Always remain true to the desires of his heart. He is that kind of whimsical guy.
He loves art, music and just about anything that expresses the true desires of the heart. He spends a great deal of time in unnecessary and excessive grooming. He also seems to vastly prefer the company of men rather than the company of woman. These are just some of the reason as to why a lot of people think Mikoto is actually homosexual.
Mikoto is only really picky when it comes to women, not to mention that he isn't popular with woman either because of how effeminate he seems at times. Several of his close friends actually know this, and still like to tease him about that.
Having sparked several misunderstandings, Mikoto has made an habit of introducing himself with his sexuality in his introduction line.
Despite his love for his beauty, Mikoto is neither an stranger to fight nor is he scared of them. He is not a ninja just for show. Mikoto's will to fight is just as much, if not even more, than other ninjas. He will never run away, nor will he ever admit he is outpowered. That's why he believes it is wrong for shinobi's to only be after money and not to follow their heart's desires.
He does, however, protect his face a lot more than any other shinobi does.
His reason to be one of the Red Sages is simple; "Doesn't freedom sound like a beautiful concept to you? I'd very much like to see what true freedom is like."
【History】
What can you expect from Mikoto's story?
Yes, he was bullied as a kid. Yes, he was beaten up a lot as a kid. No, he was not mentally scarred or traumatised by this.
Mikoto actually fought back. He's never been afraid of getting his hands dirty. Though he's always been a dilligent student, more than once has he been scolded by his teachers because of how many fights he got himself into. During elementary school, he had to fight his way through bullies and smart-asses who thought he was nothing more than a sissy.
It wasn't until he started going to junior high school that he discovered a better way to deal with bullies instead of fighting them. Completely ignoring them. Why, there's nothing more infuriating than the sissy you are trying to piss off completely ignores your very existance. It ended up either with the guys giving up and moving on to their next victim or them trying to beat up Mikoto, which ended up badly for them. Again.
By the time he entered high school, Mikoto had created a reputation for himself. Never again did he have to deal with idiots trying to piss him off.
Sadly, it was... boring. Extremely so. How could he ever relieve this boredom? Already studying to be a ninja and a Chuunin, and the Hamajo Confederation didn't seem eager to start a war any time soon.
Then, what could little old Mikoto do to relieve his thirst for fighting? The Red Sages was the only thing that came to his mind.

The Amatsurahashi family. Harsh in their ninja training, lax in their concept of what a man should be. Why you ask?
Mikoto's father died when he was 4 on the way to the hospital when Mikoto's sister was about to be born.
So, Mikoto had to quickly grow up and become the man of the house and so, he had no time to have his lunch handed over to him by some guys who taught were better than him. Not to mention he had an example to set for his sister.

His dream is to see actual freedom. To be able to see what it truly means for a shinobi to be able to be free. He'd also like to learn how to play an instrument, ANY instrument.
His deepest and darkest fear is for all that is beautiful to him, including his family, to be taken away from him all at once. To leave him at the mercy of a world where nothing can no longer make him feel alive. Basically, being alive but dead inside is his biggest fear.

【Fighting style】
Many describe Mikoto's fighting style as refined and entracing. They say it is like watching him dance instead of fighting. Still, Mikoto's taijutsu is deadly and precise. There is no wasted effort, no wasted moves. Everything is made to be a beautifully perfect fighting style for Mikoto.
Rhythm and tempo are the bases for his taijutsu style. He always tries to imitate a song playing inside his head as he fights, trying to match the timings of his strikes and the timing to avoid and counter-attack. Thanks to his being knowledgeable about several types of music, it is easy for him to change gears in the blink of an eye.
He tends to use bojutsu, a fighting style through the use of a staff, when he thinks taijutsu is no longer enough to defeat someone. He usually combines bojutsu with ninjutsu to make an even more lethal style.
He is more of a physical fighter rather than using ninjutsu and genjutsu. His ninjutsu acts more as a support for his fighting style and he tries to avoid using genjutsu, mainly because it isn't his best subject.
His ninjutsu focuses on the use of water as a high speed waterjet to cut through things.

Short Range, can only be use in hand-to-hand combat.
Description:
The user releases a high speed stream of water from their finger tips and envelops both of their hands in a water jet that can cut through just about anything.
This technique, however, is as harmful to the user as it is to their opponent, and can only be used once in a fight to avoid further damage to their hands and/or weapons.
Depending of the Chakra output of the user, this move becomes more powerful and becomes able to cut through harder materials. How much the chakra is being used also determines how long this jutsu can last.
At minimum output, the Jutsu can cut through wood easily and can last about an hour (6 posts) without damaging the user's skin. In a weapon, it can last for a complete hour (6 posts) before it starts eating away at the materials of the weapon.
At medium output, the jutsu can cut through bone, rock and even iron. The user can mantain it for 15 (3 posts) minutes without major damage to their hands. In a weapon, it can last for 30 minutes (4 posts).
At maximum output, the jutsu can cut through just about any kind of metal standing in its way, though it won't be able to cut through chakra enhanced weapons, diamonds or crystal release jutsus. In the user's hands, it can only last for a minute (1 post) before there is major damage and in a weapon it can last for 5 minutes (2 posts) before it destroys the weapon completely.

A large white and black staff that is about the same height as Mikoto himself. It is made out of wood and has two metal plates at both of its ends, so it can withstand Mikoto's High Speed Jet Jutsu.

Standing at a not even surprising 1.64 meters and a rather slim and flimsy frame, it is Amatsurahashi Kanata.
Like her brother, she has fiery red hair and blue eyes, but neither of them are as well cared for as his. In fact, her brother likes to point out the split ends her hair might have.
Her hair is long and usually kept in a pair of twintails that reach her waist.
Her blue eyes are big and have been called cute several times, by relatives and her mother, mainly.
Her fair skin does have some cream put into it but not the ungodly amounts her brother uses. Like other men, she fears she might catch fire if she imitates her brother.
Her frame is slim but well trained, as expected of any shinobi. The problem lies in her chest, something she has a strong complex about and what often makes others confuse her for a boy (given how her brother is).
A teenager who'd like to put as much attention on her appearance as her homo brother, Amatsurahashi Kanata.

Unlike her brother who has 'shit for brains', Kanata is a lot more normal than her egocentric and metrosexual brother, if a lot more tomboyish than your regular kunoichi. But let's be honest here, what screams femininity more than a girl in a tight suit jumping around and throwing sharp things at others?
Foul-mouthed by nature, full of hormones thanks to her age and Kanata's short fuse make her an adorable pack of emotions, insults, bad words and sarcasm all in one.
She's known for not holding anything back, and this has gotten her in a lot more of problems than she's ever wanted to have. An idiot by birth not by choice, Kanata has found herself in more than one tight spot both in school and in the streets. She often comments on how life wouldn't be as exciting if she didn't get in as much problems as she does, though.
Add to all of this the fact that she has several complexes about her body and life and it just makes her the perfect adolescent with attitude problems. She just needs to run away and the pack should be complete.

Her existence mostly went unnoticed until she finally became a Chuunin. Pairing up with her brother and going out in missions made them a deadly combo.
Finally, people started noticing Kanata and she wasn't sure of whether this was a good or bad thing. Well, she never really did have a lack of friends, she just was in that small group that mostly went unnoticed by others.
Later she determined that it was bad. Real bad. They all came to her with words like 'Oh, did Mikoto have a sister? Never knew.' or 'Wow, to think you could actually do something!'. What came after those comments was most definitely not pretty.
Having gained a bad reputation this time around, people started to actually avoid her. Well, her fame was short lived, and it was good that it was.

Even if they are about to hit their mark, she'll make sure that what they hit is nothing more but an illusion she's made. Cunning and brains, not muscles and... more muscles, are what make her a formidable fighter.
She uses water release, but unlike her brother, she uses mist and barriers to hinder her opponents.
Her taijutsu is the weakest part of her fighting style as a whole. She can easily be overpowered by any opponent with more experience in hand to hand combat or otherwise.
Her taijutsu is focused on the use of her legs, since her arms are more like sticks. She uses a combination of muay thai and tae kwon do to keep opponents at bay while she uses her hands to prepare her next jutsu. Kanata also tends to use submission holds against opponents bigger than her, in order to keep them from moving and to give herself more time to cast her next jutsu.

An intimidating man standing at 1.80 meters and a man of nerves made out of steel, Kisaragi Anzai.
He's got short and spiky black hair falling right over his face. He uses a headband at the top of his forehead to not let it rub against his face, since he is pretty sensitive.
Anzai's skin is dark brown, making for a perfect example of the trademark Kumogakure ethnicity.
He's got gray eyes, but he always keeps his eyes shut.
Unlike many cliché anime characters, Anzai actually keeps his own eyes shut because he is blind.
His physique is quite buff and muscular, something that affects his diet quite a lot since he needs to eat a lot more than your regular shinobi. Despite his physique and Kekkei Genkai, Anzai keeps always keeps a cane by his side.

Calm and stoic are the words that best define Anzai.
He's lived his life having to take calm and well-thought steps due to his blindness. It gives you more time to think, in a way. Everything he does is well-thought and meditated, even his jokes, which tend to be overlooked because of his monotone tone of voice.
Because of his legendary calmness and his habit of meditation, many often believe that Anzai is, in fact, sleeping. He has fallen asleep while meditating if we are being completely honest, but it is a rare occurrence indeed. Once, someone stepped over him while sleeping.
Anzai is really prideful, despite his usual cool demeanor. Offering to help him go down the stairs or other friendly offers for help upset him greatly and, despite not losing his cool demeanor, you'll find yourself threatened by that same calm nature. In a nutshell, feeling pity for him can really work against you.
"Even as I am blind, I can see far more than you."
His mannerisms and calmness often lead others to believe that he is expressionless, or worse, emotionless. This is most certainly not true, but Anzai does manage to keep his emotions in check most of the time. This is because he understands and accepts all of his emotions, which has also made him able to tell a person's mood through the tone of their voice or what they are feeling through the beat of their heart.
These two abilities, though, are rendered useless in battle as he cannot focus his hearing solely in his opponent, otherwise he'd feel he's leaving himself open.
As with everything else, Anzai tends to keep calm and stoic even in the most heated of situations, making him both an intimidating and terrifying foe.
【History】
The long line of Katsuragi shinobi felt that its long tradition of warriors had come to an end when they discovered that Anzai, next in line to become the head of the small clan, was born blind.
Not having sight, an almost indispensable tool in the trade of being a ninja. They thought all was lost were it not for what they noticed later.
The boy could indeed see and his 'sight' could reach even further than their own.
The Kekkei Genkai of the Kisaragi allows them to feel electric currents, but only when thrown in a jutsu, making it a highly defensive type of Kekkei Genkai that could only protect them against an specific type of jutsu. Anzai's blindness took it a step further.
Anzai could actually sense the small electrical charges carried by electrons, and that permitted him to make an image inside of his head of what things would look like if he could see, and what made it better was the fact that his 'vision' covered a whole 360 around him.
It was blurry at first, of course. Untrained and instinctive, the Kisaragi could not pass up on such an opportunity.
Regardless of his shortcomings when he first started training, the Kisaragi finally were able to make an specially deadly and stoic shinobi out of Anzai, who could now see clearly after refining the use fo his Kekkei Genkai.
Once he got clearance to become a Jounin, however, what followed were years full of frustration.
Everyone looked down on him because of his blidness. They wouldn't allow him to participate in missions, and he would remain mediocre because the Confederation frowned upon physical demonstrations of power, at least between their own armies.
The last straw was when his commander called him weak, and that he couldn't kill him even if he were sleeping.
Making a live demonstration, Anzai went to the Red Sages dragging his commander's body by the neck. The commander was known to be a powerful but arrogant commander that had been hindering several of the operations of the Red Sages.
He hoped that such a demonstration would be enough for the Red Sages to acknowledge his potential.
Thankfully for them, they did.
【Family ties】
Anzai's family is filled with strong warriors, warriors that would risk their lives at the beck and call of their masters. So was the case with both of Anzai's parents, who died while he was still training. His only remaining (close) family is his grandfather.

Anzai dreams of making his a powerful clan, one rivaling the Uchiha or the Hyuuga. Despite not seeing (pun intended) the allure of the intercourse, Anzai does wish to have an heir who inherits both his powerful Kekkei Genkai and blindness, horrible as it may sound. He thinks of himself as the next step towards greatness for his clan. An improvement over those before him and the true potential of their Kekkei Genkai.
His biggest fear, though odd but logical considering his personality, is to be able to see with his eyes. He feels he'll lose his powerful KG if he sudeenly becomes able to see.
Calm and stoic are the words that best define Anzai.
He's lived his life having to take calm and well-thought steps due to his blindness. It gives you more time to think, in a way. Everything he does is well-thought and meditated, even his jokes, which tend to be overlooked because of his monotone tone of voice.
Because of his legendary calmness and his habit of meditation, many often believe that Anzai is, in fact, sleeping. He has fallen asleep while meditating if we are being completely honest, but it is a rare occurrence indeed. Once, someone stepped over him while sleeping.
Anzai is really prideful, despite his usual cool demeanor. Offering to help him go down the stairs or other friendly offers for help upset him greatly and, despite not losing his cool demeanor, you'll find yourself threatened by that same calm nature. In a nutshell, feeling pity for him can really work against you.
"Even as I am blind, I can see far more than you."
His mannerisms and calmness often lead others to believe that he is expressionless, or worse, emotionless. This is most certainly not true, but Anzai does manage to keep his emotions in check most of the time. This is because he understands and accepts all of his emotions, which has also made him able to tell a person's mood through the tone of their voice or what they are feeling through the beat of their heart.
These two abilities, though, are rendered useless in battle as he cannot focus his hearing solely in his opponent, otherwise he'd feel he's leaving himself open.
As with everything else, Anzai tends to keep calm and stoic even in the most heated of situations, making him both an intimidating and terrifying foe.
【History】
The long line of Katsuragi shinobi felt that its long tradition of warriors had come to an end when they discovered that Anzai, next in line to become the head of the small clan, was born blind.
Not having sight, an almost indispensable tool in the trade of being a ninja. They thought all was lost were it not for what they noticed later.
The boy could indeed see and his 'sight' could reach even further than their own.
The Kekkei Genkai of the Kisaragi allows them to feel electric currents, but only when thrown in a jutsu, making it a highly defensive type of Kekkei Genkai that could only protect them against an specific type of jutsu. Anzai's blindness took it a step further.
Anzai could actually sense the small electrical charges carried by electrons, and that permitted him to make an image inside of his head of what things would look like if he could see, and what made it better was the fact that his 'vision' covered a whole 360 around him.
It was blurry at first, of course. Untrained and instinctive, the Kisaragi could not pass up on such an opportunity.
Regardless of his shortcomings when he first started training, the Kisaragi finally were able to make an specially deadly and stoic shinobi out of Anzai, who could now see clearly after refining the use fo his Kekkei Genkai.
Once he got clearance to become a Jounin, however, what followed were years full of frustration.
Everyone looked down on him because of his blidness. They wouldn't allow him to participate in missions, and he would remain mediocre because the Confederation frowned upon physical demonstrations of power, at least between their own armies.
The last straw was when his commander called him weak, and that he couldn't kill him even if he were sleeping.
Making a live demonstration, Anzai went to the Red Sages dragging his commander's body by the neck. The commander was known to be a powerful but arrogant commander that had been hindering several of the operations of the Red Sages.
He hoped that such a demonstration would be enough for the Red Sages to acknowledge his potential.
Thankfully for them, they did.
【Family ties】
Anzai's family is filled with strong warriors, warriors that would risk their lives at the beck and call of their masters. So was the case with both of Anzai's parents, who died while he was still training. His only remaining (close) family is his grandfather.

His genjutsu skills are non-existant, perhaps because he cannot see in the traditional way, but his lack of skill in genjutsu is compensated by his skill in ninjutsu and kenjutsu.
He keeps his sword concealed inside the cane he always carries with himself.
His fighting style is one that prioritizes domination over the battlefield.
If people ambush him, then he'll keep everyone at a safe distance through the use of his ninjutsu, and then engage each of them with his sword and finish them quickly.
He's been called the Blind Assassin because he always aims to end his fights quickly, before his opponent can catch up on the several weaknesses of his Kekkei Genkai.
If he is overwhelmed or has spent too much in a fight, he tends to retire as quick as possible and fight another day, despite his prideful personality.
He is dead set on not letting anyone know of the weaknesses of his abilities, and will surely kill anyone who catches on on them.

Using Lightning Release, Anzai supercharges his nervous system after amplifying the natural electric wave surrounding his body and reversing it inside, but unlike A's Lightning Chakra mode, Anzai does not enhance his physical capabilities.
The electricity surrounding Anzai also becomes visible to any of his enemies as small lightning courses his arms, chest and legs.
Touching Anzai while doing this will result in an extremely painful and stunning electric shock, that renders taijutsu useless against him.
While this does not actually hurt Anzai, it does leave him paralyzed for a long while afterwards, so he does not use it that often.
The longest he can keep this technique activated is for 5 posts.
Anzai theorizes that if his whole body was sedated and his mind wasn't, he could use this technique to move. He hasn't had the opportunity to prove this theory, though, and the fact that he still needs to make the hand seals makes it... kind of pointless.

Anzai thrusts his weapon forward and, much like like the Chidori Katana of Sasuke, creates a highly condensated flow of Lightning release chakra with a range of 10 meters.
Though it does not chirp loudly like the Chidori Katana, there is indeed a low, cracking sound that warns of its arrival, not to mention that when it hits, it makes the same sound as a thunder striking the ground as all of the compacted energy dissipates after hitting its target.
It is compact and quite small, and its range falls short to other jutsu, but it is a jutsu that can pierce through mostly anything, unless faced with a weapon with flowing Lightning Release chakra or Air Release chakra.
Thanks to Anzai's detection and skill, he can make the attack change its course as he wants, though not as many times as he'd like.
After moving it three times, the jutsu disappears.
Though extremely lethal as it can pierce easily through someone's head or ribcage in an attempt to kill Anzai's enemies, it really depends a lot of where it hits.

The only way to dispel it is to either defeat Anzai or, if it is being used at mid range, to take off the seals previously placed by Anzai.

- Due to the excited atoms of a hot body, Anzai can also sense Fire Release rather clearly and can sense even more clearly any individual with a high body temperature.
- Anzai can become a walking stungun by amplifying the electric wave going around him.
- If extremely concentrated and in only one individual, Anzai can predict their next attacks by seeing the electricity running through their muscles as they move. This, however, makes him blind to any other thing happening in his surroundings.
Weaknesses:
- Being hit by Wind Release, the usual weakness of Lightning release, can either make his vision blurry or blind him completely, if the jutsu is strong enough(B jutsus and stronger).
- He cannot sense Ice Release or any body at Absolute Zero temperature. (Not necessarily a shinobi, could also be metal).
- Due to the lack of electrons in their atoms, Anzai can't sense gases either.
