Current Memes aside, pineapples on pizza is ok actually. Being shat on for liking things different from other people gets old after a while.

Alice de Arcobaleno
Alice's house, Eastern field

@Asuras

"You are... my Master, I presume?"

Alice stared up towards the silver figure towering over her, a smile unconsciously appearing on her face. She was admittedly shorter than what she would have liked, but he was simply huge.

"Yes, 'tis I, your Master, your summoner."

She could almost laugh at it all as the knight — there was no mistaking that religious fervor — started on his speech. The only reason she did not laugh long and hard was that it would be rude to interrupt someone while they were talking. But a knight, of all people! A strange sense of elation, surprise and mirth was rising in her, as she barely contained her own laughter. Her own knight in shining armor, one she would not have expected to summon. A stroke of luck, she would say, and if he was as grand as he made himself out to be, Alice now had quite a powerful tool at her disposal. She suspected he would not be averse to following her orders or tactics.

Alice did not simply fell into idle thoughts while the knight was speaking however, she was scanning over her Servant, noting every feature about him she could. His parameters, the way he moved, the way he talked, his armor, cloth, even what materials they could possibly be made of.

"Hmm, so be it. If you do not wish to give your name, then I will forgive it. For now." She gave a flourish of her own, spreading her arms wide to call and focus attention to her. "I am Alice Margerite Arcobaleno, heir to the Arcobaleno family, and the one who will claim the Grail for her own. Be prepared, Rider, I will work you to the bone to achieve that goal!"

A boastful speech to be sure, but she meant what she said truly, having already been prepared to devote everything she has on winning. Of course, there was less weight behind that boast coming from a slightly dusty girl in a basement filled with odds and ends that may or may not be broken.

"Well, that is how it is." She brushed off her hair from her face, smiling all the while. "Come now, make yourself useful while I put up a better barrier around the house and find out where they put one of my familiars."

Humming to herself, she dusted herself and went up the stairs, starting on drawing a few more simple bounded fields to put around the house as security.
p-please

Good thing I didn't try to squat/summon in the ruins there then.
Speaking of which, who's in the einzbern castle now?
"Alright!" She shouted the moment the girl slapped the talisman on it. "Well that was good going everyone. I guess it would be time to celebrate the occasion with sake now, right?"

Well, that was quite a situation. It was a good thing several of them were willing to help. That okami, that odd nukekubi, that uh... lightning girl? She had forgotten what that certain youkai was. Now that the threat was gone, it was time to celebrate. If they ransack the shrine — no one seemed to be living in it anyways — they should be able to find something to eat, and with her gourd with unlimited sake, they'd be able to celebrate like it was no tomorrow. At least, until Yagra noticed the priest.

"Geh."

Priests and youkai don't usually go well together. It was very likely that she'd be exterminated on sight along with the others here. Keeping to the back of the group discretely, she took off the cloth tying up her sleeves, and used it as a sort of bandana or headwrap instead, trying to conceal her horns as much as possible. It was not that she was afraid of the priest, but she was wary of causing trouble that might threaten her peaceful life in the city.

In any case, the priest was revealing some very heavy information to the group. A city of mirrors, disease, purging and more.

"...Would not be pretty. I fear that gashadokuro that you have just defeated is only the harbringer of troubles to come, and so I must ask: can you travel through the portal here to handle problems that may occur? I know many of you are of supernatural origin, given your recent performance, and contacting anyone like the police or military would likely lead to me being brushed off as insane."

Yagra almost choked on her sake when the priest mentioned he knew some of them were youkai, but relaxed when he seemed earnest enough about needing their help. And if he needed their help...

"Well, that's quite a bother isn't it? That corruption, I mean." She stepped closer to the priest, Izawa, smiling all the while. "So you're saying that if we helped you, we will get a reward right? Then that skeleton counts right? Are we going to get a reward for that?"
Ah yes, Odysseus on another boat. I bet one command seal that the boat sinks before the first few days of the grail war.
Ill get a post up by tonight.
@LugubriousI assume I have free rein over the npcs in this fight? Would be kinda hard for a back and forth fight unless we were to collab i think. ^^;
Oh hey, someone got a boost.
Reaching the end of the corridor, she came out on an open area, standing on the third floor.

There was a bridge in the middle, the sort where she half expected for one of the larger gangsters from her world to jump on to have a mano e mano fight with her. It was odd and a bit disturbing to not have a whole lot of gangs roaming around trying to ambush her. It was akin to having to seeing and dodging tigers in a specific place your whole life, but then having those tigers being gone from that spot. There was a sense of paranoia that started to creep in, along with the ever nagging question of 'what if'. What if they kick down that door and hit her in the back? What if they bust down from the ceiling and kick her in the head? What if they break through the floor and proceed to bite her legs?

It didn't matter for now, for she could see a whole lot of books on the ground floor, in a room just after the group of anons milling about down there.

What sort of hint would she get there? It was a slim chance, but hopefully it was about what the wish machine was, and how it functioned. Or perhaps, a way to win without actually killing her opponents. If the machine consumed souls in exchange for a wish, then she would have to destroy it utterly and refuse the tournament. Not the first time the world seemed out to destroy her after all, nor the first time the bearers of the God Hands faced seemingly impossible odds. But for now, all she needed to do first, was get to that room full of books.

"Nothing's ever easy for me, huh?"

Without hesitation, she dropped down from the third floor, landing gracefully on the ground floor, amidst a group of those so called anons.

"My, it is such a wonderful day, isn't it? I hope you don't mind me dropping in."

Juniper walked nonchalantly forwards with a soft smile on her scarred face, heading towards the room with books. While she looked as carefree as can be, her muscles were tensed and ready to spring into action when needed.
