Don't forget, they made another new hero named Screentime. A meme loving superhero who got his powers from exposure to internet gas. He has the ability to basically be a smart phone.

Oh. Hey there. Why can I never just rest in peace?

As all those piece of shit songs my younger sister listens to say: "You can sleep when you're dead." Then again most of those "music artists" (air quote, air quote) are illiterate so it's probably: "U cn slep wen ur ded"

Tai had to wonder if it was some sort of sign that the first thing his partner did after they saw each other was to walk into a spider web right in the middle of his path. On a side observation, there were apparently some really big spiders in Forever Fall. At the same time, he appraised his partner. Red hair, a visor, otherwise standard for most of the students here. He supposed he would be a decent enough partner, if one were to go by appearances. Tai gave a soft smile. "Nice to meet you Robert." He looked around then at the red trees that surrounded them. "I suppose we should start on our way for the artifacts."

"Nice to meet you... Tai, right?" Robert waited for a nod of approval from Tai and then continued speaking. "Yes, finding the artifacts would probably be the best thing to do." Robert began walking in a random direction then stopped mid-stride. "You don't happen to know where the artifacts are do you? Maybe a general location? Or, at the least, a general direction?" After finishing his sentence, Robert looked down to see he was still balancing on one leg. To try not to look more weird than he probably already did, Robert quickly put his suspended leg down and was back to standing like a normal human being. He then stood there, with a goofy ear-to-ear smile. In his mind all he could think was, "Stop looking at me like that, I'm not weird. I'm perfectly normal. How do you do that thing where you talk to someone without seeming weird? Just imagine what would have happened if my partner was a hot girl. Wait, am I talking to myself? Stop that. Stop talking to yourself. Just continue smiling and don't think of anything. Don't think of anything... Why am I now thinking of cats? Note to self: Don't meet new people... ever again. EVER!" While all of these thoughts passed through his head, on the outside he still stood at attention with that goofy smile still on his face. Not moving a single muscle.
Oh no! More references to things I don't know...um um.

Yeah I know all about Beat Angels.
Robert had finally reached the edge of the forest, keeping up the rant he had started back at the lone tree from earlier. His skin stinging from the wasp stings and sun burn. He continued a few more feet before he saw a lone figure standing there.

"Well, looks like we're partners then," he said to the boy who up until that time, had been muttering under his breath. "I'm Tai Zhou."

"Hello there, my name is R-" before he could finish his sentence, Robert walked into a spider's web. "Ahh, ssspppttt sspptt spt," was how Robert finished his sentence, trying to spit the web out of his mouth and rubbing his hands all over his face trying to get the web off of his face. "Frickin' spider webs! Sorry, my name is Robert... Robert Fallson," he said, finally finishing introducing himself. In his head, all Robert could think was "Please don't think I'm an idiot partner. Why? Why do you hate me so much world?"
Hey Flamelord, looks like we're partners

GRIMMS WITH LIGHTNING RODS!
Robert continued running and screaming while the Rapier Wasps continued chasing and buzzing. He was tiring, the pain he started to feel where a few wasps had stung him made him realize the adrenaline was starting to fade. Soon he would become to exhausted to run and with the number of wasps chasing him, he knew that he would die. "Killed by bugs. Not the way I was expecting to go out," Robert thought. He began searching his surroundings looking for anything that might save him from his current predicament. "There! Water!" he shouted, as soon as he saw the stream. Robert ran in the direction of the stream. As he got closer, he took off his visor, his weapons, and the picture in his pocket. "Don't want these to get wet," he thought to himself. When he was within a couple feet of the stream, he jumped in. He then stayed under the water until the wasps finally left. As soon as they did, he rose to the top gasping for air. After getting out of the water, he took off his clothes and rung them out. He didn't want to stay in one place for too long, especially naked, so as soon as he finished he put his clothes back on and he turned around to see where the forest was. "Oh, come on!" he shouted when his eyes spied the zip-line he had come here on only 20 yards away. "I'm back where I started!" he yelled. A loud cry of anger left his lips. He looked back in the direction of the forest. "Back to it than."

A few minutes later.

As he neared the tree he had been attacked from earlier, Robert took a slight detour. He kept a one mile radius away from it, and even than Robert still felt uneasy. All he could say though was, "Stupid wasps, with their stupid stingers. I can feel my skin beginning to get sunburned. I hate nature." Nature clearly hated him back.
I'd like a symbol. I don't really have any suggestions or specifics on what I want it to look like. Do what you feel fits for Robert.
Robert continued to walk in the direction of the trees. As he got closer and closer, a lone tree in the field was in front of him. Robert's stomach growled. He regretted missing breakfast now, and he even had a second chance to have something when that one guy offered him tea. Robert struggled to remember the kid's name. "Did he even tell me his name?" Robert wondered aloud. He looked back at the tree, and remembered something about the trees in Forever Fall having really good tasting sap. "Time to find out!" Robert shouted as he slashed at the tree with his blades. Eventually, he cut deep enough that sap began to leak out. "Success!" he yelled. He put his face to the tree, not wanting to get his hands sticky, he tried to sip it straight from the tree. As he continued drinking from the tree, he began to hear a strange buzzing noise. At first, he ignored it. As it got louder and louder though, Robert looked up. An entire hive of Rapier Wasps hung above him. He looked back at the incision he had made in the tree and saw the sap still slowly spilling out. He licked around his lips and still tasted the sap around his mouth. He looked back up to the hive. "Oh, no." He began to slowly back away, but almost as if the wasps had been waiting for him to move, they all flew out of the hive and began to gather and form a small cloud. Robert ran and the wasps chased him. "Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!" Robert screamed so loudly that it almost drowned out the buzzing the thousands of small insects were making. "Why does this always have to happen to me?" he said to himself as he sprinted faster than what he thought he was able, too.

In unrelated news, have you guys ever had that one time as a kid when you were at the supermarket looking at candy or whatever, than went back to follow your mom, only to realize at the check out line that you followed a woman who was totally not your mom? I remember. It was a good thing the lady was so nice, cause my stupid six year old self did not know what the fuck he had to do.

I had that happen to me once. Differences are it was at Disneyland, it was my dad I was looking for, and I had tried holding the hand of the guy who I had confused with my dad. I'm glad I was 6 (or whatever age I was at the time), or that could have been way more awkward.
