Am I the only one that's slightly bothered by the fact RWBY's OSTs seem to give more insight into characters than the actual show does?

I've found it strange how the show is so light-hearted and happy, but the lyrics to many of the songs are very dark and grim (pun not intended).

There are 6 females and 14 males (not including teachers and teachers assistants).

When he had met Priscilla in the hallway, Robert hadn't noticed that Greyson was standing behind her. Then Greyson said he was going back to the room. Robert could tell by the way Greyson reacted that he was the reason Greyson wanted to go back. Why though? Robert thought of any reasons why Greyson didn't want to be with him and Priscilla. He seemed pretty okay when Robert became leader, so it wasn't that. So why doesn't he want to come? Then it hit him.

"Does Greyson like Priscilla, too?" Robert whispered so quietly no one could hear. Robert thought about this new revelation. As Greyson began to step across the threshold into the dorm Robert yelled to him, "Come on Greyson. We're a team, we need to all stick together. Come with us." Robert then waited for Greyson's response before catching up to Priscilla.

"So where do you think we should go? Maybe the-" suddenly Robert's stomach growled with hunger. "The stomach has spoken! I vote the Cafeteria. Who's with me?"

Angelo shrugged at Priscilla "sure" he stuff ad he got up and started to follow her outside thinking this was a good chance to talk to her since they both became partners and became part of team PGRT although when Angelo was going to try and start a conversation it just so happens they ran into Robert, why does it seem like Robert will be their when Angelo and Priscilla get some time together. "You guys can go on ahead I'll stay in the room and maybe take a bath" Angelo said not wanting to be the 3rd wheel if they wanted to talk. Angelo just wants to know if Priscilla wanted to just be with him even if only for a little while by actually saying it...

"What to say, what to say?" Robert thought on his way back to team PRGT's room. "''Hey, how was your nap?' No. 'Hi, how are you doing?' No. 'Have any dreams about me?' No, no, no ,no, no. Argh! Why can't I think of anything to say? Heck, I don't even know if she'll be awake when I get back. For all I know she's still asleep and I'm worrying about noth-" A girl Robert didn't recognize suddenly bolted out of one of the rooms ahead of him, barely giving him enough time to get out of her way. "Whoa, what's her rush?" he asked out loud. As he passed by the room that she had come out of though, he immediately was hit by the stench of urine. He let out an obvious sound of disgust before saying, "That's probably why." It was because of his thoughts being on the strange bed wetter, that he was off-guard when Priscilla approached him. "Huh? Oh, hey Priscilla. What was that you asked? Where did I go? I was going to leave the school to buy myself some better clothes to wear, but it ends up they won't let us leave campus. So, you're just walking around, huh? Mind if I tag along?" Robert said at a very quick pace while fidgeting with his hands and with nervousness showing in his tone of voice. He noticed this strange, yet enjoyable feeling as he talked with her, though. It was very similar to the one he had felt back when he had first met her, when he had fought with her and the rest of the team against Edgar, and when he walked with her after the test. There were no words to put towards the feeling to describe it though. At least, none that he could think of at the moment, or all of the other times before.

While I do agree with you, I feel we should wait for at least a few more teachers to be made so we have classes to go to.
