-Bookshelf-
Ange only gave a distinct glance over the others that had joined up with them, but said nothing to them as she examined the contents of the book. The first section of the book happened to be called "Little Princess." Well... sounds like some children's tale. Narrowing her eyes, Ange went to read what was there.
"Once upon a time, there was a precious little girl. Her friend, the Princess of the Red Rose, was always at her side. Then one day, her mummy and daddy died suddenly. The Princess, too, disappeared, leaving the girl all alone. And the poor little girl was sent away to a strange house. At her new home, the Aristocrat Club lived by the Rule of Rose. But the girl found herself very much alone, until she discovered a wonderful new friend."
The rest of the book was mysteriously blank... weird. It would be understandable that the pages would be ripped out, but the book was just empty and left with blank pages. "Um... excuse me... is the book supposed to be blank like this?" Ange asked the employee, who leans over to the book to see the blank contents, and was equally puzzled as they were.
"Well.. um, I'm not sure. Last time I looked at that book, it was fully completed, it was never like this."
"..." Ange didn't have much to say, but something about this creeped her out. Though, with some thinking on this, she had a feeling that the book's tale of the "Little Princess" was related to them being here... somehow. "So... are all of you here to read whatever information we can get here?" Ange glanced over to those that were around, her eyes showing not much interest.
@nerminator@Daglobster@Flamelord ---- -TV- (just going to assume that they took turns on using the TV. Plus I kinda didn't want to butcher anything on how to represent this part... so I'll leave the rest for you to decide xD) When both of them would take their try at the TV by plugging their tablets in... the result was quite a sick joke... or was it? The TV would then show an environment familiar to them, most likely a location in their world that they could remember. Except... there was a strange detail: there was some sort of zombie apocalypse going on... and boy they could see some close friends or people they knew succumbing to this zombie virus. Is that why they were in this hotel in the first place? "Oh my... what some strange showing on this television," Erika happened to walk in when they were tinkering with the TV, and not realizing that this was related to the ones that took turns trying the TV with their tablets. @Scarifar@TheRpgGamer@Mtntopview --- -Kid in Lion Costume- "Ding ding ding! You got it correct! Alright, give me a sec..." The little boy took a moment to find what he had to give to Leone, and the next moment, he gave her what seemed to be an expensive looking gold coin. "I heard that the Watcher likes those... so maybe you can bribe the Watcher with it..." Well, that was quite something to hear, so that gold coin was super important, might as well keep it until the time to use it comes up. "So, anyone else wanna try a riddle too!" @TheRpgGamer(Leone receives gold coin)@nerminator
(The Bathroom is open for anyone else that wants to clean up themselves. *wink*)
*Patchy awkwardly joins conversation* ^^'
I don't think that fact will make her any less angry.
^w^ *waits for the reaction*
Patchouli Knowledge | Outside the Passenger Area, UMMA Vessel Tanngrisnir
By the time that the purple-haired librarian had arrived, the disruptive action had been put to a stop or had abruptly stopped. It didn't matter, at least the majority of the disturbances had been averted either way. Then again, as much as she had the urge to return straight to her library, she had some curiosities on the matter. Oh, she wasn't that nosy like those 'rats' that would come to steal her books from her original library, but she did have the little tendency to know of things before hand or just to know it for the sake of knowing. Isn't that why she was named 'Patchouli Knowledge' in the first place? By the time she had approached the fellow UMMA agents, she was able to overhear this...
". . . kept on talking about finding someone, a girl or a woman. They seemed to think we'd kidnapped her. We don't keep prisoners in the civilian section, do we?"
Patchouli didn't seem to say much, but she did make her presence here known by how she brought up her hand to her mouth as she cleared her throat. She didn't dare to say much in the first place because obviously, what did she have to say it to the matter if she only arrived some time after it had concluded?
So yeah, Aiko will not be amused. Hopefully no one hears her swearing bloody murder at the shower >_<
At least it isn't anything worse than whip cream. xD
-Kid in Lion Costume- The boy puts a finger up to the side of his head, as if he were recalling the answer that he had hidden away into his mind. It made you wonder if you got the answer right or wrong... or if the kid had simply forgotten the solution to it all. It doesn't take long for him to remember it, and of course, his smile doesn't seem to leave his face. "Nope! It can't be death. Don't worry though, you have four more tries." The boy doesn't really give you any hints other than the fact that your guess was wrong. Well, if he wasn't giving any hints, then maybe this was a riddle that can be solved without any other clues outside of it. Surely it had something to do with sight and perception by how it mentions 'see' and 'saw' a lot. @nerminator@TheRpgGamer@Scarifar (4 tries left)
totally didn't just take the riddle from a Google search I would usually make another riddle myself, but then I would have to make a huge wall of text, and I didn't want to do that... *shrugs* As for an actual update, once people have inspected the TV enough, one other person participates in the riddle games (with a different riddle of course) with the costume kid, and when Ange and Nork finish with going over the book's contents, I'll update the roleplay with the intro to Round 1 of the Murder Game. :3

"Alright," Ange said blandly as she walked up to the apparent employee, not seeming surprised at the said employee's appearance,"So, is there a book that is fine to take? I rather not cause any fuss if I happen to pick out a book that shouldn't be picked out."
"O-Oh... um... maybe this one would be fine for now..."
The auburn-haired girl gave a confused look as she saw the employee shove a random book into her hands. Maybe she was scared that keeping them waiting would be a bad thing. Still, Ange rolled her eyes, walking back to where the large fellow named Nork was at. Finally taking the time to look at the book itself, it happened to be titled "Fantastic Tales". Well, she couldn't really see anything actually fantastic about the old book she had, but hey, it was just a book. Keeping that stoic look on her face, Ange opened the book and lazily turning the page to the first section of the book.
---- -TV- Oh... even if the power button of the TV was pressed, all they would get was a fuzzy screen. Well, that's because there was no cable hooked up onto it. Strangely though, right next to the power button there was a cord sticking out of it, somewhat like a USB cable. While you had no idea what it was for, there was a close inspection that your tablets that you were given earlier can plug into the TV! Why was this the case? You don't know, but it couldn't hurt to try it out... right? Plug your tablet into the TV? Y/N? @Mtntopview@TheRpgGamer@Scarifar ---- -Bathroom- Man, for a hotel bathroom, it was quite luxurious! Heck, the shower felt completely refreshing! When it all seemed well... the shower water suddenly seemed to shift into... um, whip cream? When they said that weird things happen in this bathroom, they weren't kidding. Makes you wonder why the shower started to use whip cream instead of water... @Flamelord --- -Kid in Lion Costume-
"Nope! Riddles! Solve it in under five tries, and I have a prize for you! Isn't that fun?"
Well, if it's coming from a little kid, the riddle itself shouldn't be that hard... right?
"Here's the riddle! You saw me where I never was and where I could not be. And yet within that very place, my face you often see. What am I?"
Hey, at least you get five tries at it. The boy smiles innocently as he sits on one of the beds, waiting for Leone's answer. Heck, he thought that the boy that had walked over to them was going to participate as well! @TheRpgGamer@Scarifar@nerminator
I'm so sorry everyone, I can't participate in this. My life is so packed at the moment that I don't think I can commit to such a large roleplay. Not a problem with the roleplay itself, but it's going way too fast for me to keep up. I'm really bummed out, as I had a lot of plans for this. If this is still going on when I get back I might be able to join back in, but I'll be busy for the next week or two. Have fun guys! :(
Oh, that's completely fine Sal. If you're that busy IRL, then it's completely understandable. If you do come back, I'll keep your characters on hold for now.
@nerminator Are you talking about Erika as the "girl" in your latest post?
no, she was talking about my third character, emilia
Oh, Okay, I got a little confused after seeing that. --- On a sidenote, I'm busy atm, but I'll be able to post again later today. I just have to handle being sick at school :(
(my god this is kinda half-assed, but fuck it) "Coming!" Gavin stopped his progress with getting wood as he rushed over to his fellow lads. He kinda overheard the whole situation thanks to the yelling of Micoo, and didn't really want the girl to get hurt in the first place. Though her attitude was kinda similar to Michael's... weird. The Brit held out his arms, hoping that they would at least catch her safely. As for Tyler, he seriously thought they had it covered, because truthfully, whenever he tries to help a girl, it only turns out bad. Well, that excluded his girlfriend, but thankfully she wasn't here at the moment. "Alright, just don't look down," Julie uttered to herself before leaping off of the tree, closing her eyes while holding her arms close to her. The end result: a teenage girl falling right on top of Gavvy. Hey, at least she had her fall cushioned! As for Gavin, you could see that he was stunned a bit from having someone fall on him, but at least there wasn't any major damage done. "...Classic Gavin. He's going to be fine," Julie said with a shrug, getting off of him and looking like nothing was wrong with her. She did know who they were, since they were mostly a part of Achievement Hunter, and then she recognize Tyler to be one of those Minecraft Youtubers. Mari would always fangirl on anything related to these guys. Due to Mari's influence and the constant buzz about it, Julie didn't see a problem with trying out the new modpack... until now. Though apparently...
---
Oh great, so there were other people out there trying out that accursed modpack. Though, it was kinda weird on how there were only a few of them in here while it was possible that tons of people were possibly trying it out too. Heck, Geoff wasn't that surprised that this girl would know who he was, it was the power of the internet after all. "Well shit. The modpack is causing a huge fuck-up..." Geoff said, but thankfully they weren't really the only ones here. Or else it would be absolute hell trying to keep Ryan from going full-on Mad King mode. But weirdly, the entire world around them had been engulfed in a bright light.
-
In truth, the setting around them had changed. It wasn't the blocky environment of Minecraft anymore, but they were now placed in front of an oriental style shrine with many blossoming sakura cherry trees. At least they wouldn't have to find each other anymore... except for the fact that they all weren't exactly 'themselves.' In fact... it appeared that they were in another's bodies! Surely this would be awkward. Michael, Gavin, Ray, Tyler, Geoff, Jack, Ryan, Matt, Pat, Woolie, and Liam would find it super awkward that they were apparently girls now. So it was like a slight change for Julie and Mari. "I told you not to fucking touch that book!" Pat shot a usual angry glare at his friend, who only laughed nervously. "At least we're out of Minecraft... but what kind of fucking game is this?" Matt shrugged but was seriously lost on what game this was supposed to be. The three members of the Best Friend Zaibatsu glanced at the weeboo of the group. "H-Hey, don't look at me like that. Just because I happen to know Japanese stuff doesn't mean I know what this is," Liam stammered at their usual thing of questioning him for some help. All the while Julie seemed to be a little interested by this, or more like in the inside she was fangirling that she was in a Touhou game at last. (Links galore...)
