Wait, did we just suddenly switch from Halo to sexist generalizations about men? o.O

... WHY!?

It hasn't been refuted by either GM, and no-one has shown any objections. Therefore, you are correct.

TwlightDragon was showing some objection which is why I asked. Because it showed at least one person wanted to wait for the current GM's to come back.
If everyone else does prefer to get this thing moving though (Because I know how vital it is to not dawdle too long before starting an RP) I can make screw my last post and open the OOC today instead.
So I assume if the GM or co-GM has not come back and taken actions to get the RP going (So simply coming in and saying "Hi, I'm still on the Guild. Please wait" won't cut it) by Saturday that I'm basically in the clear to go ahead and post the OOC and then we can start voting on the new GM to take over the RP?
It's good practice to alternate between 12-16 different soldiers so you always have trained professionals ready to go. However always make one soldier (preferably a support) someone you drag with you on every mission possible to promote them quickly. Reason for this is to unlock all the Officer Training School abilities sooner.

As for the terror mission? I'd take it immediately simply not to risk it timing out before your soldiers recover.
Just play it smart and cautious with your squad, keep them close, piss of minimal enemies at the time, make good use of overwatch, and remember your priority is to keep your men alive, not to run around like maniacs saving the civilians despite what the game tells you. If your squad dies the mission fails, but once you win the mission any citizens still out there who weren't killed still count as being saved.
Just so you two are aware I was mainly asking that to get that specific person to think about it. I had already agreed above that the RP isn't dead until everyone gives up on it. But rather than simply give a mini-rant/lecture on why Cath's "Dead when the GM leaves" analogy was wrong I asked a question to get her thinking on a situation where that analogy wouldn't hold up.
What if the GM gives up in the RP though and the other players are still working on keeping it alive? Would that RP still be considered dead?

If you mean smut the Guild already has that covered, any explicit sex scene's or actions need to be taken to PMs.

If you simply mean the fact sex exists or that relationships are complicated? The former is solved by fading to black and honestly hiding it's existence is just very unreasonable and not helping those people at all. Especially if raised in a family that likes to censor their children from anything sex related. The latter, it's valuable info to have. Too many people rush into relationships (and I'll admit to being guilty of this one too) where they go "Oh this will be great! We like each other, we love each other and everything will just go dandy because we just like/love each other so much!". It helps to at least have some understanding in advance that relationships are more complicated than that.
This may be more appropriate under spam.

If you're simply looking for people to randomly chat with one another from the Guild it may work. But I can also imagine spam coming up with a more complete system. As chaotic and High School mentality like as they are, they are shockingly good at organizing and running online games.

If you simply mean as a means to get guild members to chat though, most people who care enough to do so already add each other to places like Skype or Steam, talk in PM's or simply use tinychat.
Never separate your squad too much in XCOM unless if it's for one of two reasons.

1. A squadmember is critical and close to dead. In which case keep them strictly further back in already scouted areas.
NEVER send anyone out alone into un-scouted territory, especially someone close to death.

2. Setting up an ambush/flank.
As in distract them with group A so group B can get them from the side, or attack from the roof etc.
(I've had cases where they completely miss the soldiers hiding on the roof above so my men could just jump down and get flank shots on all of them from behind).
But even with this proceed with caution cause this plan quickly backfires if one of the two squads get's the attention of even more aliens.
Blue Visor and Red Highlight please.
Specifically this shade of red if possible. :)
