You followed me all the way to my Bio? Well... Now we must drop it.

That fight actually went along better than I thought it would considering we had 2 elites and a Zealot in that group.
And within a few seconds a ton happened in front of Tenjer. The Zealot he was shooting it was maimed by a flare and seemed to flee, it looked like Jameson had arrived on the scene, all the grunts were dead or fleeing, there was another flashbang and the only elite left alive was approaching them. Quickly Tenjer aimed directly at the Elite's head and fired multiple shots into it's head, it becoming an easier target as it got closer and closer. Off in the distance he noticed Ross stumble around as if he got hit by the flashbang and thought to himself "Well, there goes our support from the rear of this thing", and got ready to drop his weapon if the elite got to close. If he lived to make it much closer he wanted to get his knife out and pounce on the beast, pin him and take him down right there. Quickly with a stab at his throat if the elite actually ended up getting so close.

Gwazi, no. We are not herbivores. We are Omnivores.

*Re-reads*

This is why I need to re-read my posts more often... -.-
Not sure how I made that typo.
So Boerd said *Your

I was on my phone, so auto correct bullshit was bound to happen.

So Boerd said Plenty of people don't eat meat or reproduce, both of which we are programmed to do.

We aren't Carnivore's, we're omnivores.
We can survive on either food source, granted it's normally best to rely on both but a person can survive off of just one.

As for those who don't reproduce?
That's called Natural Selection, those people do not have their gene's pass on or continue in the human race.
But other's do reproduce, those gene's would get passed on.
Your painfully obvious logical fallacies aside, all organisms evolve to survive. It basically being what we were programmed to do is our only arguable real purpose. And survival doesn't happening by not advancing, that's how extinction happens.
So Boerd said So basically the middle class itself was irrational. Alright. Why? I am a sack of chemicals capable of providing no benefit to you.Suppose there was a system which could provide greater security, positive chemical stimuli in the brain (I don't believe in happiness, I believe in science), etc which explicitly rejected human rights and afforded you none. Would you want to live in such a system?

I could also get more happiness and security by constantly dosing myself with drugs and locking myself inside a vault.

But if we did that nothing would be accomplished, we'd never advance and humanity would soon cease to exist.

How ironic I just returned from the hospital before coming back to this roleplay...

The timing and situation is incredible I do admit. :P
So Boerd said Suppose you and I are in a plane crash on a desert island. I am paralyzed, a quadriplegic and to prevent you claiming the need for human company, unable to speak, while you are unscathed. Why should you try to keep me alive?

In that case, it would be logical to assume you'd want to die... This is normally where people turn off the life support for whoever is in a coma.
And sadly you being unable to speak would make communication difficult. How I would address the situation is finding some other means of communicating with you, blinking, grunts etc for yes and no questions. Then try to understand if you desire to live.

If you did, I'd work my hardest to keep us both alive, if you didn't I'd kill you in as painless a manner possible.

Also, the person doesn't need to speak to provide human company

So Boerd said Also, the first society to acknowledge human rights did so with no evidence. Were they irrational?

That would of been theory and testing, they have an idea and they have reason to think it would work like Brovo described.
That first time would of been their test/experiment to see if it does in fact work or not, and as we see that test turned out to give positive results.

Hey back guys! Sorry about that, cousin went through a divorce, then my mom's shine bone popped out of place, and all that glorious mess. Anyway, back to roleplaying. And wait, I nearly lost my arm!?

You had lost your arm, in a post made not even 5 minutes before you re-joined the RP.
So our amazing GM went back and edited it to being just a burn. :P
As all the chaos in the fighting took place Tenjer suddenly felt his face burning, a plasma bolt that hit him in the head had melted off part of his helmet and his face was left partly burned. He flinched for a split second, but you had to be tough to be an ODST so he didn't roll over and groan like a normal marine would. He clenched his teeth tight though to try to control the pain, and let off another burst as he did so killing one more grunt. Just then Jameson asked over the com who can get to McCoy, once Ander's answered Tenjer said "So am I sir!". Suddenly though he heard Ander's yell at Tenjer to get in cover while ordering Brewer to help save McCoy. Tenjer replied in the three way com-link "You ain't taking me out of the fight that easy", though he did roll over behind a nearby empty barrel. He looked over his cover and began firing again on the Covenant, specifically aiming at the Zealot who was starting to make his way to McCoy. He hoped that he could either slow him down, or distract him.
