@Akayaofthemoon Made a post. Would've done so earlier, but I was at the museum. It was fun. And then I got back.
Emerald had known what was coming, and what he did was more of a mixture of anticipation, fear, sadness, and self-hate. He ran down the stairs, sobbing while verbally blaming himself as he ran out the door and away from everyone else, running into the nearby forest and slumping against a tree. "Useless! I can't do anything! This was supposed to be a fun trip, and now Aquamarine is possibly broken forever and Howlite is dead! Gone forever! And I just watched! Useless!"

@HaltingBlooper That's because pretty much nobody cares about us enough to know. They're either apathetic or want us gone. It's sort of sad, but it's true. That's why it means so much to me when people want to learn more about us.
It may be because us AMURICANS don't really get educated about.....borders that aren't drawn on maps. Hmm. :( Yeah we don't seem to delve much into the cultural side of things in our education. Like Basque. Or Kurdistan.

Emerald woke up with a start, awakened by all the noises from around him. He sat up quickly and noticed....everyone was sad. He had almost forgotten what had happened. He stood up and realized...Bloodstone was here? And he was crying? Why? Well, they did seem to know each other, I guess. It was so odd, seeing someone so powerful, who could do anything now that Aqua was gone, doing...nothing. He heard Bloodstone's question. "Ok, so how about some history lessons since I'm here? Any questions?" He was a bit frightened by him being here, but he did have a question. A few questions. "Um..uh...is....is Howlite going to be okay? She's gonna come back, right? He sounded a little hopeful, which almost covered up the fact that his voice was cracking and he had a lump in his throat. He was hopeful, but he knew that this...this situation was terrible. Everything was terrible. No leader, no direction, nothing....and then there was Howlite. All he could think, the one thing repeating in his mind. All I could've done was watch. Useless.
