@AkayaofthemoonEXACTLY! Let me present you with a scenario.
White cop stops person driving a car at 30 mph over the limit. He goes back to his car to log this, look up license plate stuff, etc. Black driver gets out and starts yelling at him about why he got pulled over. Cop gets out of car, but doesn't do anything aggressive because he doesn't want to be infamous and other guy knocks him unconscious and proceeds to beat him with his gun.

Audience applauds, takes pictures, posts them to facebook and twitter.

@Akayaofthemoon It's my issue with the fact that in America, the term racism has been used so widely (and wrongly) that police officers are actually afraid to do their job right because they don't want to be in the media. And how people have become more racist towards white cops than anything I've ever seen happen to any other group of people. And how some people applaud the fact that a white officer was beaten nearly to death with his own weapon at a traffic stop as bystanders took pictures of it and posted it online with snarky hashtags. And how people are taking advantage of the fact that they can do this and claim that they are being "oppressed". White privilege my arse.

Now, I'm not meaning to be offensive, but being racist and using past events to justify your actions is worse than anything that the past action could've been.
