How many stories involving tsundere girls have started out that way? Nisekoi, Akame ga Kill, Fate/stay night (Unlimited Blade Works), ToraDora... I can go on. With the help of TV Tropes, that statement is literally not hyperbole.

Following the crowd, Atsu eventually made her way into the gym. As expected, it was swarmed with students of all ranks and classes. She drew her attention away from perceiving her classmates and walked near the front of the stage. Atsu was never the student to sit at the back of the classrooms. She appreciated being able to view the course materials upfront and have the ability to wave down the teacher as promptly as possible. Picking a spot at the first row, she slid her book bag under the chair, tucking her skirt down before sitting down.
What seemed to be a faculty stepped onto the stage. "Ok, this is the welcome ceremony, this is where we get the welcome from the Student Council, Oh! speak of the devil..." Atsu’s eyes averted to where the woman was staring and accounted for three more individuals walking in.
“So this is the Student Council.” She thought to herself. They looked like a proud bunch and with every right for being so. The Student Council was rumored to be some of the strongest students at the Academy. Some even excelling in their studies and ranking top in their grade. Whatever it was, Atsu took no interest in it. Her eyes quickly flashed back to the woman on the stage to await the rest of the agenda for the ceremony.
