@Agent B52: Yo would the tank have a compartment for full crew or do we ride up top? :P

It'd be tight and sweaty inside.

Giggity.

You are old :)

You all make me feel old.
Smack yourself. Take a deep breath and puff your chest. Be hopeful that you may see her again in the future. When you do, act confidently. Even if you stumble, take a shot. What's the worst that could happen, rejection? Or never knowing what could've been?

Confidence is key. It's how I met my wife.
Kuhaku Shiro - Friday Morning, Assembly Hall

Gathered into the Assembly Hall, Shiro stood amongst his teammates. Ever curious and fidgeting, he constantly looked to and fro at the crowd of his fellow students. Picking out familiar, friendly faces and enthusiastically waving should he be lucky to catch their eyes. As the general Assembly went underway, Shiro paid attention for the most part. Nervous energy coursing through his body prevented him from being fully attentive and still, constantly wired. From his understanding, today would be the day that the organized Hunter Teams would be taking on their first missions/assignments. He partly wished that Professor Port would just get straight to the point so that they could move on. He got the feeling that most everyone in the Assembly Hall felt the same way. Seeing his team's name and their faces on the large screen in the center of the Hall filled him with a sense of pride.

Learning the particular mission that his team would be undertaking, he pulled out his Scroll and expanded it. He wasn't sure if he was supposed to have it and be playing on it during the Assembly but he quickly dismissed it with a shrug. If he got in trouble, he would simply apologize and put it away. He couldn't help himself, though. He just had to know more. Locating information on 'The Shelter' assignment, his mouth slowly hung open and his eyes grew big.

Mission: 'The Shelter'
Difficulty rank: B
Overseeing staff: Headmaster Ozpin
Reinforcements: None

As Shiro read, he was surprised that his team would already be tackling a 'B'-ranked mission. One assigned by the Headmaster, no less! Smiling, he was sure he and his team could successfully complete it. He wasn't sure if they would be biting off more than they could chew, but at least it wasn't some boring and mundane job. He briefly backed out of the mission's details to view what other teams would be doing.

He snickered.
"Reconnaissance, Escorts, Patrols, and...Riot control? Ha ha, glad we don't have to do anything dull like that." Shiro thought, rather pleased with their team's mission and empathetic towards some of the other teams.

Returning to view the mission's briefing, his smile gradually faded into a look of worry. Something about some shady experiments being conducted on wildlife and Aura. That detail worried him a bit. Placing the mission into perspective for a moment, he pieced together the facts.

"Hmm...We'll be boated to an island. So, we're going to be isolated. No reinforcements have been planned for us..." Shiro's concern grew.
Something about this didn't quite sit right with him.
Shaking his head, he collapsed and put away his Scroll and his smile returned.

"Aww, shucks. No matter! We've got this! Our first mission! OUR FIRST MISSION!" Shiro repeated the line over in his head until his boundless stores of enthusiasm and energy returned in full.

Balling and clenching his gloved fists next to his face, he was practically vibrating. Trembling with ridiculous amounts of vigor, a big grin on his face. Reaching his 'limit', Shiro turned to Gren and pounced onto his back. Grabbing the Boar Faunus by the wide, broad shoulders, Shiro attempted to shake him too.

"Our first mission, Gren! It's our first mission!"
He laughed heartedly.
Turning to Abel, he leapt from Gren to Abel's back and wrapped him in a big flying bear hug. Attempting to rock and sway the large man same as Gren. He was feeling particularly touchy this morning.
"Did you hear, Abel!? We've got our first mission! Aren't you excited? It's gonna be so fun! We're going to do so awesome, all the other teams will be jealous!"
It was true, he was getting so worked up his golden brown eyes began to take on their glowing icy blue color. Black stripes started to streak through his white hair and mark his ears, ringing his white tail. Turning to Sapphire, practically incandescent at this point from all of his beaming, he contemplated 'glomping' her too. Thankfully, a thought interrupted him from doing so. Probably saving his life.
"Oh wait, I need to get my equipment ready!" He thought aloud.

Hopping off Abel's back, he scrambled to leave the Assembly Hall. Not once considering that perhaps the Assembly wasn't quite over with or that he was even allowed to leave. Low and on all fours, he tripped over himself a few times in his overzealousness. Hands and feet unable to quite grip the ground to gain traction. If nothing stopped him or got in his way, he would've surely bolted out of the Hall outright.

"Gotta get ready! Gotta get ready!" He panted deeply and heavily, his tongue lolling.
The question being raised if Shiro was honestly feline in nature or not. More often he resembled a canine with all of his ridiculous vim.
Nice. Those do sound like innuendos when put into that context.

Hue, Diamond's got an 'oral fixation'. Ugh, someone please stop me before I get going. xD

EDIT: Lol, just read Daniel's post. In my own perverted mind, he's just like "No, no. Keep going. I wanna watch."
Chalk it up to those from the military life having profane tongues and even nastier minds.

I was specifically talking about the "...keeping her mouth and hands busy" and the "...unique equipment" parts. Excuse me.
Kuhaku Shiro - 6th Period, Computer Science -> [...]

Destroyed. Simply described was Shiro's emotional state. For the entirety of the class, he merely stared at the blank screen. His eyes just as blank. Tried as he might, he sent his mental faculties into overdrive in an attempt to make sense of the assignment given to him by the teacher for the period. Ultimately, he couldn't do it. Frying his own brain in his efforts to understand a world completely foreign to him, the blank screen of the computer monitor effectively drained his soul from him. Ears low, his tail sad and pathetic, he looked up at the teacher as he walked by. Eyes dolefully reflecting the glow of the monitor in front of him, Shiro's lip quivered as the teacher merely gave him a look and shook his head. It would seem he would be in one of those 'lower-tier circles' the teacher mentioned. He would have to get extra instruction, or have to rotate the class out for a different subject. Either Language or Music. Neither of which suited him.

The bell rang and startled him out of his melancholy mood. Shiro jumped with a start. Shaking his head, he sighed and looked at the woefully blank screen of his monitor. Gathering his things, he was the last to leave the class, taking his time. Partially, he was glad the class was over. The other part of him was heartbroken he failed his first assignment on his first day so miserably. It didn't help when Gren only really seemed to notice that Oswald was struggling too and offered his help to him, instead of his own teammate. To be honest, he felt a little betrayed. Grabbing the hood of his cowl, he pulled it over his ears and head. Moping and pouting to himself.

---

After a small chunk of time, Shiro quickly recovered. Mad at himself for letting such a thing beat him down so badly, he reversed his depression into new-found vigor and motivation. The next day, come 6th period, he would absolutely annoy the teacher for any information he could spare and absorb it as best he could. He wouldn't do so badly again. Okay, maybe. But, not as bad! And that was all that mattered to him, even if he failed. He would fail gloriously, having given his all. It was all he could do. If the teacher determined him to be irredeemable, he would just have to reschedule his classes. He hoped he was able to. Maybe try out Music or something. He couldn't recall, but vaguely thought Sapphire was in that class. The percussion instruments appealed to him. Maybe he could try out the drum sets or something. Whatever they were called. Seemed easy enough, bash it or hit it to make a noise. Hell, maybe it would even be fun.

At that idea, Shiro's ears and tail perked and his eyes brightened. Realizing where his train of thought was running off to, he blinked and slapped himself smartly on the side of his face.

"No! I will give my all at Computer Science first!"
He puffed out his cheeks angrily.
"A-and if that doesn't work, then maybe Music class can be an option."
At least he would already be familiar with someone there.

Settling back into his usually smiling face, he found himself at his team's dorm room and entered. Off in his own world, as per the course, he decided that now that he had time to himself he would relax and release some stress. Almost immediately after he entered, without mind to whoever may or may not be in the room, he peeled off his clothes until he was down to his skivvies. Throwing open his drawer filled with his clothes, he rustled around and burrowed out a black sleeveless t-shirt and navy blue shorts. Changing into them, he burst out of the room with enthusiasm and bolted down the corridor on all fours.

Over the next hour or two, he would work out any stress of the day beginning with a nice run around the school grounds for about thirty minutes. As he began to plot out his running route around Beacon, barefoot and quadrupedal, he wondered if he could accomplish his usual average of four-to-five miles in that timespan. Sure, he knew there was a nice track for him to run on. But, where was the fun of that? As he already began to huff and puff, breaking out into a light sweat, he planned out the rest of his workout. Today he was feeling chest workouts, supplemented by core exercises in between or perhaps afterward. He had a little booklet he used to write down his daily regimens but he forgot and left it behind. Bad habit of his.

Thoughts narrowing and focusing on the physical exertion of his body, soon his mind cleared itself. Only focused upon his evening exercise routine.
@Forsythe - I...I can't. Just...the innuendo.
