Can't really complain, got a 119 quality build by accident. And a Faith/Dex 130. 120 Solaire Cosplay Quality/Faith (why is everything quality scaling). Incomplete Farron run, pyromancer, samurai... builds. Need more builds. xD

Been thinking of trying out a Pyro/Hex build. I WANTED to do a Faith build but...-sigh- Miracles are so sorely gimped in this game.

Didn't work. Dead giveaway. xD! I play on PC/Steam. Two characters at the SL120 PvP meta, a cookie-cutter quality build and dirty pure Sorcery caster build.

Yes to pretty much all of that, that kind of thing seems perfectly fine. The "valid explanation" thing was only for the elf part so if that's not there you don't need to worry about it.

As for the character growth, that mostly depends on how the character starts out and what you intend. If you want them to grow a lot, by all means do so, but if you want them to be decently powerful at the start but not overpowered you don't have to. In that regard t's your choice.

I want her to start off small and simple with the ability to imbue her rapier with pulsating electrical POWAH! to take down tougher foes and a few casts of Lightning magic with a long incantation "wind-up" period. Down the line I'm looking to have her call down lightning bolts, but that'll be a long time coming and a gradual increase in ability. I'm all about balance. Plus, my evening opened up so I'll be able to start working on a sheet shortly!

Thanks. ^^; My friend @Rin made it for me since I really really like Nonon.

I love Dark Souls and Bloodborne as well, and I've been playing DS3 pretty much nightly since getting it. I even have a build based off of Fanilly running through the game right now which has been pretty fun.

But like I said, any questions at all I'm for sure willing to answer so... ask away! Your current concept would work but you'd just have to explain why an elf had joined the order... and you'd fill the second "nonhuman" slot.

Anyways back to the subject at hand. So, the idea works I just need a valid explanation? The elven part I'm fine with omitting or editing, it was just a passing thought. And as far as 'lightning wielding' I was thinking along the lines of what is essentially Lightning Blade and Lightning Spear to start her off. I don't mean to steal the final 'non-human slot'.

I assume when this game takes off and progresses further on down the line our characters will be allowed growth as far as combat prowess? Like maybe spellswords being able to cast better or more spells?

It absolutely is. I've played and beaten/been beaten by every game in the Soulsborne universe except for Demon Soul's. Love the Nonon Jakuzure avatar too, Vita.

Love the Crossbreed Priscilla avatar, by the by. Yeah, my original intentions were to make a rapier/buckler wielding, noble elven knight wielding lightning magic but that may be a bit overkill. Still thinking about things..

Oh man, this world is detailed.. I'm reading through everything I can and I have to say I'm a bit overwhelmed. I may be hard pressed to create a good character that fits within the world setting and abides by the rules set forth.. xD;
