I just want to see more life in this RP in general. I feel like I'm slipping further and further away each day.

You can always pull the plug as a GM.
That's what I did for the most recent mission I GMed.
I asked if the participants still wanted to be part of this and if they were still interested. Judging by the last few posts, you can see the results of the unanimous answers. For want to preserve the interested player base and move things on. But still kept it so that it could be revisited and revived in the future.

Uh yeah, seeing how those were referencing seperate things.
One being our own characters tragic backstories and Team CODEs recent mission.
And my genuine and sincere curiosity to how a typically stoic and expressionless character would react to public display of affection.
