There's a lot of backlog here on my end. I'm trying my best to lessen it, but replies might be less frequent for a time. A welcome change from the nothing doing I went through though! Thanks partners!

Bio

I suppose it is about time for me to copypaste fill in some information about myself over here just as well. Only took me a few years to getting around to do it.

I am a married individual in my twenties from the country some people dare claim does not exist. The Finland conspiracy is an old joke, you can stop with it now. Not a native speaker of the English language by any means, though I did begin studying it exceptionally early for our country's standards. I suppose it was some sort of a test case. With that out of the way though, what more should I be saying here...
  • I like being nice to people. If one needs to ask why, well that alone is reason enough.
  • I play and Dungeon Master Dungeons and Dragons, both offline and in the past also over here.
  • I enjoy OOC chatter, be it planning the RP or a more casual exchange (not that RP'ing is that serious). I can make do without, but don't be afraid to talk to me.
  • Whatever the case, I'm here to have fun and hone my writing abilities!

Thanks for stopping by I suppose! I do also have a Discord account, but I prefer to start anything RP related on the site. At least with people I don't know from the past, that is! But hey, now if you are a longer time contact of mine and happened to read this, now you know and can ask!

Are they not there? Blade Ward and Eldritch Blast? With first level spells being Armor of Agathys and Hex? Because I see them perfectly fine. the site just doesn't seem to save the spell ranges for whatever reason...

Yup, CN. While Dwarves are usually of the lawful and even good sort, this guy just has his head full of the Old God for now. It might tone down in due time as this is all still very new to him so the god's influence is strong. We'll see.

EDIT: @darkandstar I made a couple of updates to the backstory tab. Hope it is sufficient for entry now.

That should do it. In the game mechanics sense, Travok Thornbreak is ready. I still have to think a bit about his personality and background, so please excuse the WIP status of background tab.

And yes, we are talking about the C'Thun from Warcraft lore.

Ugh, rolling for stats... I personally don't like that style at all, luck may easily favour somebody and make them so good in everything the stat increases really don't matter anymore and they'll end up taking all of the spotlight. I'll be doing mine with Point Buy if you do not mind.

Sounds like the perfect place to roll my new dwarven Warlock/Fighter multiclass! That already has a couple of reasons to have him thrown into the cell, but add in the fact that he's yelling something about bleeding for his god at the top of his lungs in the marketplace in the middle of the day... Yeah, if you'll take my CN Great Old One Worshipper, you can count me in.

As a side note, while I DM in person this would be my first forum based DnD, so I may make some errors in the beginning. I'll probably just take a look on how others are doing it, shouldn't take too long to get the hang of it.

As it seems you are mostly having trouble with the section types, I'll go over them quick.

Free
In free, you can expect to find one liners. I do not know much more about the place.

Casual
Casual is the den of posts with usually couple paragraphs of content and some modicum of character development.

Advanced
Anything that is beyond casual, really. Sometimes it goes near the character limit of a post, sometimes less is more, but still rarely under three paragraphs a piece. Character development and compelling storytelling are pretty much a must.

Arena
A fight? Count me in! This place has characters fight each other. Power levels and the attention to detail varies.

Nation
For the emperor! Here people play as whole nations, usually in war against each other AFAIK.

Tabletop
Tabletop roleplaying games through a forum. Simple as that.

1x1
RPs with only two participants. Lots of romance and outright smut here. 18+ content should be played out via PM.
