Oh no. The World Ending library has started to smell of lemon again. Nobody likes dying to the smell of citrus

ALSO, MY CS IS DONE FOR REVIEWING

And yes. Kain and Wit were totally THAT close
Because games and such HAVE to make sense.

Give the GMs some credit. This was the same thing in the last game, if I remember correctly.

I am giving them all the credit. If I had not, I would not engage them as a interested party. Feedback is not nagative, when it made with constructive input. See above for said input.

If they say "it is 300 percent. Becouse we said so" I will drop it. I will be confused and think it is silly. But I won't pursue it.
Okay, so I'm gonna go ahead and clear this up, regarding the battle system. I won't be going into detail because, frankly, it's not really important at this moment considering we're still early in the submission process.

The numbers you see by the classes are not arbitrarily chosen. This battle system is set up similarly to those of video game RPGs. If you've played a few of them, you know that there are many skills that grant 100% of this or 400% of that. Don't get wrapped up in the real world meaning considering that has little to do with anything. In a game, 100% damage increase for a particular attack does not mean a boss-like character will die instantly, for example - it's the same theory here. The battle system Rockette created uses a mathematical equation to calculate damage, among other categories. Rest assured, every number listed makes perfect sense within the context of this roleplay and the battle system will be explained more in depth once we get a solidified cast.

Also, I've only just gotten home myself, so I'll begin taking a look at the sheets and talking to Rockette. Stay tuned.

Math doesn't bend, it always the same, regardless of IRL or Game.

100 percent damage means double the damage. That is why a numerical variable such as 20 damage can be amplified forever by tacking on more percentage.

Critical chance means how often you hit a crit, in this case how often would be the percentage of your hits. Where hundred means all the time, every shot, 100 percent CHANCE. 300 percent then does nothing, as you are allready critting with every hit.

I was already basing of Video Gamechanics. Which is why 300% is plain wrong and super redundant but 300 percent DAMAGE makes a lot of of sense. Math doesn't bend, it always the same, regardless of IRL or Game. me/RPG

And you explained nothing xD. 300 percent crit chance Cannot and will no make any sense, unless you factor in like everything ever as a lowering variable that take away critchance from a pre-existing baseline. This is how game design works, I should know, I've studied it.

TLDR:

300 percent Crit CHANCE or DAMAGE? That is what needs clarifying.

I am really not being difficult here. I am just super confused by the reasoning behind 300 percent. And I am fairly certein you both graps Math just as well as I do. Rockette having a system ,she should be fully aware of this.

PS. I think we all understand videogame logic here xD DS.
@Noxious

I am wayyyy to tired
<Snipped quote by Hellis>

Honestly, I think I did the same as you and changed it in my head to critical damage.

I still think it means either 30 percent chance to crit, or 300 percent crit damage. The latter makes sense for a sniper.
So it does.

But that makes no sense.

A hundred percent crit chance means you always crit. There is literally no reason and no difference to go to 300. It franky super nonsensical and now I am gonna be annoyed over it xD
I am retooling Kanes background for his new role. ITs fantastic :D
No. Critical DAMAGE by 300 percent Chic.
@FantasyChic you also get to die first .
The more i consider hi weapons. The more i like idea of clawd gauntlets. Make him a goddamn bear.
