Those people who actually post their status in status updates are a part of a very small minority. One that I'm not a part of.

How would we contact you?

Just send out a distress signal of some kind. If it can be heard by Phiaxes, it can be heard by yours truly.
*Points to myself with my thumb*
<Snipped quote by Heroic>

Yeah, it's pretty weird.
*Shrugs*

Let me know if you find out? Whatever evil persists in fighting you guys now brings a fight to my home, so I’ll be glad to aid in the fight.
<Snipped quote by Heroic>

I'm convinced it wasn't random then.

Perhaps not. Though reasoning for putting you here are hard to see, from any perspective...

Appreciated. How'd we end up in the IA of all places?

I wish I could ask you that question, but it seems like no one knows.

Is something up?

Just making sure we still have privacy. Confidentiality is important, and you people look like you didn’t want to be bothered.

Im a close personal friend of Shinji Akamura, leader of the EDB. I also do scientific studies for them, on the side.

I’m gathering that you people have quite the connections!

There are a lot of impressive feats of engineering out there.

Pew pew.

Absolutely true.

You haven't finished your anti-Sven laser yet? I thought everyone had a portable one of those these days.

Something like that would be a phenomenal piece of engineering.

Isn't relying on someone, especially someone who isn't a constant, extremely dangerous for your society?

Yes and no. Saying we rely on him is not exactly the right word, but I wouldn’t call it wrong either. Society just says, “Hey, this man is a prodigy at what he’s decided to do for us. We’ll let him do his thing, and step in if needed.” That’s all we really can do anyways. Again, the man is practically a force of nature, and I know nothing in the IA that can stop anything he wills strongly enough. It’s almost a scary thought.

Most leaders don't get to slip up at all. How forgiving is your society?

Well, I’ll be fully honest on this one. Firstly, I don’t know of a single person or method of restraining that man if he doesn’t want to be. He’s too danged tough and has too many connections. Secondly, he’s darned good at what he does, and his existence, when he’s working for the good guys- which he always is except in those “slip up” moments we mentioned- he makes just about everything so much easier on everyone. And no one takes that for granted, since, just like right now, we’ve been in situations without him. They’re livable, but man do they suck... In short, even if we question him and his motivations, that man gives a lot more to the well being of society than just about anyone is even capable of.

How many chances do you have to give?
