Hmm, I was thinking 30 seconds every long while, but if I had to put a number on it. Every hour? Cause the power is supposed to make my character mentally tired (Forgot to add that part). So, if I do use the whole 30 seconds, then my character would be mentally exhausted/sluggish as if he just took a 3 hours standardized test. Normally I would probably use it for a few seconds. Also, how about if I expand the iron part to any solid metal? The power is not really meant to be offensive. Mostly defensive/support. The offensive part that really comes with the power would be the fact that I would probably be able to surprise someone who wasn't expecting it. I mean... imagine someone just randomly appearing behind you. That and the fact that in places where its not bright it would be hard to see me, so I can sneak around a bit.

Edit: Course, if you want me to come up with a different power, then I can. Hmm, powers that are similar to the freedom theme...
WIP

Name: James Wolff

Appearance:

Call Sign: Warbound

Age: 29

Gender: Male

Personnel Description:
James is a relatively easy to talk to person, and is usually open to have long discussions. But, be sure not to distract him when he's in a bad mood or focused. He is the type of person who can give him complete attention to a job, and in those moments he will only respond with only a word or two. Still, even when he's focused, he is a considerate person and the decisions that he makes involves the whole picture. Thus, even when it seems like he's only focused on accomplishing the mission, he is actually thinking about how to make sure his team will be safe the entire time as well, and observing the area for changing conditions that may help or hurt him, the mission, and his team.

Backstory Description:
James joined the army through its ROTC program and officially joined as a 2nd Lt. at the age of 21. However, during his time in ROTC, James took numerous supplementary classes such as "Future Warfare", and others in the US MIlitary Academy. Thus, at least on paper, he was one of the most competent new officers from this class of ROTC recruits. When he was deployed in Afghanistan, his officers noted how he seemed excessively concerned and almost downright paranoid. James had been concerned of numerous security issues that he saw. For example, the US guards weren't taking precaution when checking IDs. In fact, whenever natives came to the base with an ID, the US soldiers would barely take a look to make sure that the person who gave the ID was the same as the picture on the ID. Thus, James had been complaining to his officers that it was very possible that an insurgent could obtain someone else's ID, and just practically drive in. James' officers ignored his warnings and said that the insurgents didn't have the capability of obtaining IDs. A few months later, a suicide bomber had driven a car filled with explosives into the base after given access with a fake ID. There was US 7 casualties in the incident and at least 20 Iraqi casualties.

It was from that episode that someone higher up noticed reports that had James' warnings. This higher up happened to be a Colonel and the officer in charge of the US Asymmetric Warfare Group, a special mission group that specialized in observing, identifying potential threats, and coming up with solutions to make the US military less open to such a threat whether it is through giving special training to units fighting against insurgents, or coming up with short term policy changes that the government should take. It was here that James truly excelled and fit in. He had been taught about numerous threats to the US and had been among a small, elite group of people who sought to make things like dirty bombs, IEDs, and other unconventional weapons and tactics less effective against the US. However, all those years that he worked there, every soldier in the unit knew about the threats of a EMP or a biological attack on the US, and how unprepared the US was against such attacks. However, the US government was unwilling to make the changes that the unit suggested due to a lot of red tape, and concerns about elections. The only solace that they could find was that Bush had passed Directive 51, which was a small change in the right direction. Still, it a change in the right direction. It was in 2010 that James was attached to the Division as an adviser, and although not officially a part of the group, he has still been an active part in it.

Talents:
James isn't an amazing shot, or anything like that. What he is good at though is assessing battlefield conditions, and exploiting weakness that he sees. So, its not uncommon to lose track of James in the middle of battles since he's already went off in a wide flank. He adopts his very mobile, aggressive, close quarter fighting style from the insurgents that he fought and studied. Thus, he is a prime example of how maneuver warfare can be applied on a tactical scale. Also, as a member of AWG, he is a pretty good teacher in military tactics. He is also capable of handling explosives, chemicals, and other dangerous things. Also, he is a passing field medic, but getting attention from an actual corpsman or doctor is obviously better.
Does the fairytale that we base our gang on have to be one of the European/Grimm's fairytales? Or could I use a Japanese one?
Uhh, solamelike. I'm pretty sure that my industry was 4, and was supposed to go up by 2 to 6.
Hmm, interesting, but can you expand on the system that you plan to use?
[X] - His Imperial Highness Mutsuhito, The Crown Prince of Japan
Have you guys ever played Spec Ops: The Line? Gameplay is meh, but the story... best storyline in a game in the last decade or so. It would have been better as a movie. Anyways, that's the vide I'm getting from this.
I see. Well, very very interested.

Edit: Also, Cathryn posted before me, so... technically she should be in while I'm first on the waiting list.
>.>...<.<... I plead the 5th. Also, if I somehow do join this RP. I know my special skill. My presence is so small that most people don't notice/see me. XD
