To my Northern Brother:

Fear the resolve of one of the most merciless Korean dictators, Dr. Rhee

Your Southern Brother
So, who is ROK? Also, the Americas seem pretty empty.

According to the document, it's actually four seasons. Waiting, Working, Growing, Harvest. You can check it out on the first page.

^ There we go. I should not try to remember stuff from a month ago.
3 seasons that last 4 months each. It's Waiting Season (Winter), Growing Season, and Harvest Season.
Mali Empire... well to be fair they were quite a regional power around the 12th century if I remember correctly. They were so rich that they made the gold market in Cairo crash because one major merchant came in with a bunch of gifts.
It all depends. In the last one, I had a small defense force up at all times. However, doing that will of course limit your maximum army size as your expenses would be greater if you have a standing force compared to not having one. That being said. Some random events could occur where you would want some sort of military.
I mean... even if you add to your military how do you expect to pay for all that?

For the duration of a painful decade, the people of Japan have been tolerating the shame of being treated as "lesser" in the face of the Western advance. The black ships of centuries before should have served as a warning. A warning that the world was changing and that the people of Japan would have to either change with it or be overwhelmed by the wave known as progress. Yet, the shogunate foolishly implemented Sakoku, and tried to isolate the nation from the world. Thus, as the world continued to progress into the future. We ignorantly remained in the past. It should not be surprising that eventually other would take advantage of that. The Treaty of Constantinople is the product of Dai Nippon's mistakes.

However, the willingness that the members of the treaty to assign these so called "spheres of influence" is an oversight that I will not forgive. To the members of the world who disagree and fight against the treaty for the assignment of such an unsubtle attempt at establishing regional hegemonies, I applaud you. Unfortunately, the Tsar of Russia did not take upon the mantle as an opponent of the treaty until much later after the drafting of the treaty. By doing so, the Empire of Russia has acted in complicity since it was one of the few active drafters of the treaty. The Empire of Russia could have rejected the implementation of the spheres of influence, informed other related parties, or even outright reject the treaty. Still, it sickens me that the Empire of Russia allowed the create of the sphere of influence over Asia, presumably for personal gain. The Empire of Russia could have been a leader in the international community for the progress of the continent of Asia, but it appears that the Tsar would prefer to be the Tsar of Asia. Therefore, in accordance with the articles of the Eternal Vigil, the Empire of Japan hereby declares war on the Empire of Russia.
Ahh, each fief is a certain size as well... except I forgot exactly big. I think it was around 200 acres each. However, don't quote me on it.
I can answer a few of those questions:

Scale: It's.... big. Bigger than France and the lowlands combined. I think it was something like more than 200,000+ acres?

Size: It's up to you. The stats are given in the rules, so it's up to you. Do you want a small, very developed nation? Or a large, agricultural nation? They both have ups and downs depending on how you set up your nation as the stats explain.

The church is... not really a unified church. Our church is a splinter group kind of like how the Anglican Church left the Catholic Church. So, it's not an Almighty - global entity. That being said. They are one of the more powerful factions in Lundland. They will be stronger than any one player at the beginning of the RP since they have autonomy over their own lands, and they own a lot.
