Appearance (you are a 4 foot tall ugly goblin kin. But this is where you could put down any distinguishing features that makes your goblin stand out from your kin): In terms of physical characteristics, the only thing that sets Lothar apart from most goblins is his relatively clear complexion. Thus, he isn't as hideous as most other goblins since he doesn't have strange warts or blemishes that make goblins appear to be more gruesome.

Personality (Talk about how your goblin thinks acts and feels. Be detailed as this will be what determines how you will here in this violent world): Lothar is someone who believes that relations with others are a matter of give and take, and has a pretty cynical viewpoint of the world. Everyone wants something from you. Otherwise, why would they bother to waste time and energy talking with you? Thus, it isn't very hard to understand how Lothar thinks as it is rather logical. However, despite this cynical view, Lothar is a rather talkative person. He likes to learn and know about things and about others. Perhaps it's because it helps him figure out what to expect from people? Who knows, but he isn't the kind to be needlessly an asshole. The flip side is that he isn't likely to be kind for no reason either. There has to be some sort of reciprocation after all, but this deal doesn't have to be difficult. After all, one day his goal is to be able to shout "I'm a mighty goblin" and mutual help from others is going to be crucial.

Lothar in his past life wasn't too exciting. He was rather well off as he was a successful lawyer who worked for major corporations and traveled around quite a bit. His job entailed him talking with dozens of people every day, but having the discretion to not say things that he shouldn't while he pried for anything that would help him with his career or his case. Now he wasn't the best lawyer in the world or anything like that, but he was good at what he did and so he came to know of a lot of people. No matter the situation, Lothar always knew a few people who could help him out or give him some advice.

Lothar is not very emotional, but the very few moments he does become emotional means something major has happened. In his past life, that kind of thing happened about once every several years.

Guild status: He's a current member that joined a little over a year ago. For the most part, he's been dealing with a lot of support tasks for the guild (IE. Meeting with communities leaders, representing the guild, and just trying to present a friendly face on behalf of the guild) since he has quite a bit of training and skill in that area. However, when needed, he does go out on missions to help subdue larger monsters.

Personality: Lothar is a guy who holds himself and others to a high standard. In fact, he expects everyone to do their best and accomplish things efficiently; however, since it's unreasonable to constantly hold people to these standards, so he learned after all these years, those who do meet his expectations are granted his trust. So, in order to get on his good side, it's rather straightforward, but getting there is another story. Otherwise, he is someone who has a strong sense of duty and ethics. Everything that he does has some sort of reason behind it, and it is strange for him to not do anything for no particular reason. It would be reasonable to consider him a to be a driven individual, but it's just that he thinks in terms of steps that have to be taken for his goals to be accomplished. In general, he is a polite and formal man who does his best to avoid causing trouble or enemies. However, there are those few who are simply malevolent in his eyes. Those few people that he considers his enemies should worry as he is a vengeful being.

That said, there are some interesting and unexpected quirks that he has. One of the most notable is that he is rather awkward around females around his age. Older women? Not a problem as he treats elders repectfully. "Would you like me to help you with those bags, Ma'am?". Younger girls? They remind him of how he used to wish he had a cute younger sister. "Miss, you shouldn't be out in the forest by yourself at night. It's dangerous." There are a few others, but it's better to see them naturally than to spoil them all in some vague description.

Bio: Lothar is the first son in a family of wealthy merchants. While not of a particularly influential background, the last few generations of the Wolff family had turned a small business into a sprawling company that has garnered much respect in Senefer. Originally, his family plan was to have Lothar join the military and rise through the ranks in order to help bring more political clout for the family as it strives to even higher places and eventually titles. Thus, Lothar was raised and educated as if he were a rising lord. He was taught on matters of economics, military tactics, courtly manners, and etc. Lothar understood the importance of his role for the family. However, he occasionally did have stray thoughts of regret. He did not hate the expectations of his family, but everything that he did was for the family. Nothing was through his own initiative. Still, he followed through with his family's plan. When he was of age, he would be sent to join the military as an officer as his family had bought him a commission. From there, he would meritoriously serve her Majesty and gain influence and relations that would help the family.

Thus, when he was finally old enough, Lothar was shipped off. However, soon after, his Guardian Beast appeared. That's when his family's plans were derailed, but not completely in a bad way. Now, Lothar had the chance to join the Order. However, there was little that his family could do for him in his journeys. For once, he could make his own path. Thus, he went off to Degar, eager to embrace this new opportunity. Thankfully, Lothar isn't an only child. Rather, he does have one sibling, an older sister, who has a very sharp business acumen. Thus, while he is away, the Wolff family isn't too troubled, but that's a story for another day.

I was thinking along the lines of more innate magical abilities since succubi and incubus are more associated with natural born illusion magic rather than infernal. Also, not quite familiar with the traditional Thiefling so I had no idea. I was under the impression that as long as something betrayed their demonic blood then all good. But, appearance can be easily changed, so if that's your definition of Tiefling, then I can change it.

Physically, Caelis doesn't stand out much from a normal human. He's 5'9" with a lean, rugged build.

Personality: Practicality, that is the word that can best describe Caelis in terms of how he thinks. He isn't the one to make friendly small talk for no reason. That said he isn't a particularly mean or cruel person, but on the flip side he isn't someone who has never told a lie in his life for some sort of benefit. So, don't expect him to be the paragon of good or evil. He is just looking out for his own best interests and sometimes it collides with acts that people can consider to be morally right or wrong.

Abilities: There is no one skill that Caelis is particularly very skilled at. As a merchant, one has to be proficient in many areas. Thus, Caelis is a very capable negotiator and businessman. His years of travelling has exposed him to numerous languages that he picked up along the way... not to mention he had to learn how to handle a sword while on the road as even during times of peace there are desperate people who are willing to kill for profit. Thus, Caelis is capable in many regards, but one skill does not really stand out. However, he does have some innate magical abilities in regards to illusion that Caelis isn't aware of.

Salvaged Item: His personal cutlass that he had commissioned for this expedition. Although it had been intended to serve more of a ceremonial/decorative purpose, it is a well forged blade.

History: Caelis was born to a single father. He had never met his mother, or at least has no memories of her. No, all he remembers is being raised by his father who never told him much of his mother. However, many of the adults in the small town that Caelis was born in gossiped around him whenever they saw him. Mentioning "Demon-spawn", "Half-Incubus", or "Succubus' bastard" among other curses, the towns people seemed to abhor him. When he brought it up to his father, he told him to ignore them and that they were going to leave the town soon anyways. The towns people were just spiteful and his father assured Caelis that his mother did love him very much.

His father was a merchant as well who had temporarily stopped travelling to raise Caelis. At 12, he was old enough to start to learn his father's trade. Thus, he traveled with his father and amassed wealth. It seemed that Caelis was just a natural born, charismatic merchant as he did very well. Hence, they expanded their business and started their own company after several years. The Wolff Trading Company grew into naval expeditions as well and established itself as a major trading company. It took a lot of work, but the Wolff Trading Co. was eventually chartered to supply, and help with the newest expedition to the new world. In return, the company would receive a share of the exotic goods that the 2nd expedition would bring back. Thus, Caelis joined the expedition as a representative of the company to ensure that everything would go smoothly.

Nation of Origin: The Republic of Lothringa

Nation Lore: The Republic of Lothringa is a merchant republic where the wealthy hold much sway over the nation. However, due to its nature as a Republic, Lothringa welcomes people of all races but is primarily occupied by humans. Humans hold the majority of the council seats, 7/10. With 2 Dwarven and 1 Elven representative taking the other seats, the Republic is known for being a economic hub where goods from all reaches of the known world pass through. However, racism and religious zeal is ever present in the Republic. Few people trust the orcs and even fewer trust those of occult or dark origins such as the dark elves or minor demon spawn. Historically, the Republic of Lothringa used to be a strong hold of the Faith and Crusaders who launched expeditions against the historical enemies of god and man. However, the long centuries of peace and its ideal location made the Crusader state turn into a merchant republic.

Other: He enjoys good food. So much so that he learned how to cook and might be able to make some of the homiest meals you've ever had, which is rather ironic since he's never really had a home. Still, he learns home recipes from people during his travels.

Appearance: Some say that he his the most graceful, gentle and elegant man that he had ever met. Others say that he is the manliest, fiercest looking man that they had ever seen. Here's the thing though. They're both right. They saw whatever it was that they wanted to see. There are some characteristics that all people do agree upon. First is that Caelis looks more human than demon from his fair skin complexion to his black hair. However, the thing that betrays his demon blood are his pupils, piercing crimson coins that almost seem like they would glow in the dark like a cat. Other than that, he truly looks like he would be human with a lean build and standing at a modest 5'9".

Illusion Magic: As a half demon, Caelis is naturally gifted in the art of illusion magic. As a business man, he typically uses it to make people feel more comfortable, but there are times where there's trouble and he needs to scare trouble makers away.

Connections: The nature of his line of business has led to Caelis meeting all sorts of individuals with unique tastes. Among them are some aristocrats and nobles who would never ever want to get on Caelis' bad side. On the flip side are other business people who would also like to not get on Caelis' bad side due to what he knows of these people. Needless to say, if Caelis wants some information or needs a special favor, then there's a good chance that he knows of a way to get it.

Personality: Much like his appearance, Caelis' personality is hard to nail. At times he may be the sweetest gentleman and others he could be the cruelest, spiteful demon in the city. That said, there is a reason for all his madness, and it is for his own personal gain or amusement. Just make sure that you don't get on his bad side cause despite all of that he is known to be rather vengeful towards those who have wronged him in some way.

History: As is customary of most noblemen who are caught in an illicit affair outside of wedlock, the unfortunate bastard born out of it is castigated and ignored as illegitimate. Such was the life of Caelis, born to a human nobleman and a succubus mistress, who oddly enough, hated to work. Sent away as an illegitimate child, Caelis didn't grow up with a father. Rather his mother, the cunning demon she is, negotiated with his father into paying for Caelis' birthright. For a small fortune, Caelis would give up any claim to the Wolff name. That arraignment was perfectly fine to Caelis as he was treated well by his mother and his father's money. Still, the city is no place for the lazy nor the naive. He had to find his own way in the city, and there was no way that he would simply subsist off of his benefactor's fortune. No, Caelis was more ambitious than that. He wanted more.

So, with a significant investment, Caelis recruited talented and unique individuals and opened up an escort service consisting of only the finest that the city had to offer. Business went well as rumors went around. One of those rumors was of a "Fair Lady in Red", who spoke in elegant verse and could be seen strolling around with some of the wealthy patricians of the city. Of course, that was simply one of Caelis' employees. She was a rather simple minded girl from a impoverished noble family who fancied envisioning herself a poet. She was a nice girl, the 3rd daughter of the family who really had little to no prospects due to her family's decline But, with some nice clothes, a bit of make up and a small enchantment, she had grown to become one of the most desired ladies in the city.

Regardless, business went well, and any legal concerns were largely dealt with as many patrons of his service were the law so to speak. However, there was one day where an unruly, but powerful nobleman demanded a refund as he claimed that he had been tricked into buying this service by magic. Of course, this claim came after his wife had spotted him on a walk with one of Caelis' employees. Caelis refused to return the nobleman's money as that would trigger an avalanche of similar claims. In vengeance, the nobleman worked to have Caelis imprisoned for tax evasion, which Caelis obviously denied from happening as a simple dating service could not possibly be making enough to be paying that much in taxes. Still, by pulling some strings, a thorough investigation happened and Caelis was charged and owed a queen's ransom.

Such an amount had a life long of servitude attached to it, and Caelis refused to turn in a single coin and hid his money very well. He believes that his "friends" wouldn't let him suffer for long. In fact, they were building an appeal to this very day. But, until the day that he is released from his sentencing, Caelis would rather play the role of a lazy city guard than be doing back breaking work in the quarry.
