Heyo! Interested. Quick question about the setting. Is it more like the late or early medieval age? I ask for two reasons, 1. to get a better sense of technology, armors, and weapons, and 2. to understand how power is centralized in these various kingdoms. Are the nobles often as powerful if not more so than the King himself? Or does the King rule above all typically and hold most of the most valuable holdings?

The Bastion was among the last ships to enter the portal. After being temporarily blinded by the bright lights, the ships of the fleet emerged on the other side. There was a near audible sigh that could be heard throughout the fleet as for a few moments... they thought that perhaps the portal wasn't portal, but rather instant death. Still, on the other side, it appeared that the other ships bumped into... problems. However, one thing was clear, the Bastion was in a bit of a rush. The Mercy was filled with settlers that the fleet brought on to bring to the new world and things were pretty camped in there. They needed to find land and unload everyone so that they could start rebuilding their lives. Admiral Wolff looked at the radar in the bridge of the Enterprise. It seemed like that the best options were to head west or south west.

Thus, Admiral Wolff made the call to head to the south west. Hopefully, they could find a plot of land where they could start building up a settlement. But, these were strange new lands. There could be natives or... well anything really. Not to mention exotic and foreign animals. While seemingly to be interesting, the presence of any natives in the new world gave the Bastion a lot of... concern. That could mean new pathogens, viruses, and bacteria that they were never exposed to. In addition, they were bringing in germs from the old world. Perhaps, this would be a repeat of the colonization of the "New World" millenia ago. But, the colonizers were lucky that the natives did not have many native illnesses that could be spread. No one could say the same for this current situation.

The fleet would have to take precaution and land some of the doctors and scientists first to draw samples from the New World. Everyone would initially have to wear hazmat gear to account for the possibility that the "New World" wasn't as inviting as it currently seemed. But, hopefully, things would be fine, or they would be able to develop medicine or vaccines for any new illnesses.
(Sorry mispost)
Will do!
Yep, it's good. Made a new post that's clearer.
Ooof, fair enough. I just re-read my post and realized I wasn't clear on what oleg was doing. Oh well, when life gives you lemons.

Oleg, Day 5

"What can I say, Pops. I needed my beauty sleep." Oleg replied with a cheeky grin on his face as he tried to get on the elder goblin's good side. He then looked outside and said "Any wisdom you could share with me before I start exploring a bit?" as he stretched to get his body ready to move and shake off the sleep. If there was no good or useful advice, then Oleg would just set off to find a weapon of some sort. Maybe a thick piece of wood to use as a club. Or get a decent sized jagged rock and use another bigger rock to sharpen it. Then tie it to a stick to make a rough stone axe... alternatively he could sharpen the rock to a point and make a rudimentary spear. Then it was off hunting for him, and hopefully he could find something he could handle.
Oleg, Day 5: First Light

The Goblin known as Oleg woke with a startle. How long had he been asleep? He felt like he had slept enough to almost make up for a lifetime... almost. He remembered the last memories he had were of what he believed to be his peers and siblings... but now in the cave... it was largely empty except for the Old Goblin. He figured that everyone had left the cave and set off to hunt and find food. He figured he should do the same as his stomach rumbled. How long had he been sleeping? It was almost like he hadn't eaten in days. Regardless, Oleg picked himself up and went to greet the Old Goblin "Hail Elder." on his way out of the cave. He figured he should look around for a weapon of some sort and then try to catch an animal. Or if he failed.... then heavens forbid.... fruits and vegetables. Bleh. Maybe if he was lucky, he would bump into his siblings and they could help each other. Regardless, off he went into the great unknown.
Name: Oleg

Gender: Male

Appearance: A pretty normal looking goblin, but one noticeable feature is that his eyes look constantly tired and he has dark circles around his eyes no matter how much sleep he gets.

Personality: Oleg tends to keep to himself quite often and observes. "People-Watching" is one of his favorite things to do although in this case it should be goblin watching. Although, when you get him riled up and excited he becomes rather boisterous and playful as he tends to find a lot of things simply amusing. Laugh and the whole world laughs with you! Weep and you weep alone. Thus, he finds the folly of life to be funny as well.

Past Life History: Oleg used to be a businessman. Meeting a lot of other people from different backgrounds and culture so that they could all do one thing. Make money. Rather odd if you think about it this way. But it was perhaps this experience of having to work 120 hours a week that led to Oleg's misfortune of being cursed in this life to always look tired as well.

Skill (This is a rare ability that you are born with as a result of your past life. Ability as in One ability this ability could be anything that you learned from your past life like for example if you were an Olympic runner then you have the skill of speed being able to run faster or have higher agility. Just keep it reasonable.): Oleg seems to be able to pick up languages and communicate in a convincing manner... especially when making deals. (Charisma Boost)

Other (anything you think should be put up): I'm a mighty Goblin! Although maybe not for long. Hopefully.
