So I lied a bit about getting a post up because I have a lot going on with work. I really want to get another post going, but I am not sure I am reliable enough to collab.

Mutually Assured Destruction [Post World War 2/Cold War in Fictional World]

Right, so after logging on the chat after having one of the better days of my career, I read a bunch of whining on the chat and realized that I just don't have the patience or the wherewithal to take a load of hormonally pissed commentary from the type of player, that regrettably, stalks the NRP section. You know the type, the one that sits back and loudly proceeds to tell everyone else how to get it done. The guy that, somehow, never seems to have an idea of their own, but constantly alludes to how they are working on it.

Basically, going back to NRP's was a terrible idea and I'm just relieved someone was obnoxious enough to jostle me out of my complacency and ennui on coming back to this section to do an RP at all. It's better for everyone involved to hand it over and just be done with it. I want to do some writing I'll enjoy, rather than slaving away for some child-tyrant. I'm saving up the frustration when I have kids of my own. kthxbai.

I'll need retainers/vassals for my Baratheon lord and don't mind if they are treacherous and have their own agendas. That actually makes it more fun.

The Wild Hunt MC [Werewolves, the 1960's, Bikers]

TL;DR Summary:

• Late 1960's, early 1970's
• The world is ruled by supernatural factions that keep the knowledge of their existence tightly controlled.
• A young outcast werewolf, drafted into the Army and sent to Vietnam met friends and fellowship for the first time. To survive in the face of a VC onslaught on their firebase, he bit a couple of his best friends. They survived.
• One of the young men had a brother who ran the Wild Hunt MC. Soon, all the Wild Hunt were werewolves.
• This story starts with their fight against the Man.
• Weapons of choice: hallucinogens, free love and lots of guitar.
• Inspired by Easy Rider and hey, Hunter S. Thompson.
• Chat on Discord for the RP -- ask questions, brainstorm ideas!

In Character

1968, in the worst of the Tet Offensive, a choice was made; the bite. It went against tradition but it let the men trapped in a horrendous situation survive. When they returned to the world, they found it not to their liking. One of the young men, bitten, had an older brother who ran a gang of outlaw bikers known as the Wild Hunt. This is the saga of the Wild Hunt, the Werewolf Biker Gang, and its fight against the cabals and conspiracies of the world arrayed against them.

Out of Character Info:

Werewolf bikers in the 1960's/1970's. It's glorious. I am going to break the convention and make the gang multiethnic and multi-gendered to allow people to create a great character that they feel.

The plot will be pretty open world, but I definitely intend to take what is written into the bios and use it to help create the plotline.
