Bio

Hello all. I am an experienced writer who is writing my own fiction stories on the side. I can role play any genre. What I love most is being able to go-all-out when weaving tales with other writers. It just makes the story more interesting, so I can't wait to write with you. :)

So, the week is coming up and from 4AM US Pacific until roughly 4PM or 5PM, I will be at work. If you submit interest to this game and you realize several hours have passed before the GM has returned a response, then you know where I am. I may check this game through my cell phone around lunch time and so you may get an earlier response, but if you don't, then there's no secrets. I am a very active GM and writer on this site. I don't let my games die easily. However, I cannot force people to be active themselves. All I can do is recycle the inactives and keep the game fueled with active and excited players.

I am interested in having 2 Co-GMs to help with the game that way administrative things can be done while I'm at work. Sandbox games tend to be pretty self-sustaining especially with certain characters and their rivalries, so I'm not too concerned about character interaction. No one should be bored or have nothing to post in this game.

I intend to run the Fields of Justice once a month, so don't expect it to happen all the time. The main point of this game is the story and plots we all weave. The Fields of Justice is just extra fun and to play on the actual LoL feel. The Field is also there for fights between characters where they won't have to worry about permanent death. But again, if they die anywhere outside the Fields of Justice, then they die for real. So please be sure to use the Field and definitely be a team when not in the Field.

Oh yes, and I have to say this all the time because it happens all the time. If you need to get my attention then @Mention me. I recommend it all the time because I WILL overlook what you write if you do not mention me. I may not realize that I've overlooked it until maybe days or even weeks later and by then it is too late. So please, mention me.
The Fields of Justice

The Fields of Justice is the arena in which the champions of the League of Legends battle against one another in order to achieve victory. As a direct response to the world’s physical and political deterioration, Valoran’s key magicians along with powerful summoners decided that in order for conflicts to be resolved in a controlled and systemic way that they need to be consolidated in an area or special dimension where the warring nations could unleash the strength of their country’s greatest champions. They formed the League of Legends whose purpose is to oversee the orderly resolution of political conflict in Valoran. Housed in the Institute of War, the League is given authority by Valoran’s political entities to govern the outcomes of the conflicts.

They created specially prepared arenas located in a remote and strategic location throughout Valoran. Champions leading mindless minions generated by novice summoners would fight to fulfill the objective of the arena they were in. There are five arenas but below will be the only playing fields in which we’ll have matches:

  • Summoner’s Rift – The most commonly used Field of Justice. The Summoner’s Rift is located in a remote forest between Freljord and the Ironspike Mountains. It is one of the few locations in Valoran where magical energy is at its greatest concentration, making it a highly sought-after locale to pursue for magical endeavors. Historically, it was the site of several battles between the Protectorate (Stag Crest) and the Magelord (Owl Crest) summoners, two sides who sought to use the natural magical energy of the area for their personal use. The large amount of concentrated magical energy has mutated the local wildlife: Giant Frogs, Giant Birds, Two-Headed Wolves, Dragons, Sentinels, Bramblebacks, Krugs, and the Baron Nashor. The objective of Summoner’s Rift is simple: destroy the enemy nexus. In order to do this, champions must traverse down one of three different paths (or lanes) in order to attack their enemy at their weakest points. Each lane is defended by magical turrets that can be eliminated in order to gain access to the next turret in that lane. Character Requirements: 5v5 (Teams)

  • Twisted Treeline – The Twisted Treeline is located in the mysterious Shadow Isles. An eternally thick, unnatural fog blankets the islands from the view of outsiders. It is thought that the islands are home to countless forms of undead, though no one seems eager to perform the exploration necessary to find out the truth. The Twisted Treeline is a two lane map where two teams consisting of three champions battle with the ultimate goal to destroy the enemy team’s nexus. There are only two known beasts that haunt these woods: Vilemaw and Crest of Crushing Wrath. Character Requirements: 3v3 (teams)

  • Howling Abyss – The Howling Abyss bridge is located in Freljord, and it acts as a gateway to the Frostguard Citadel. This is the setting for the PVP mode: “All Random All Mid” (ARAM). Character Requirements: 5v5 (Teams)

Battle Rhythm Explained

Champions are summoned to the Fields of Justice at random. A champion may see him or herself going two or more times, but the matches won’t happen on too frequent a basis so as to tire writers out. They will be paced. The type of map to be used is also selected at random, and when the map is first presented, a GM will provide an in-depth explanation of how the battle is supposed to go, the shopkeeper NPCs, the monsters and the buffs they grant, etc. So if you feel that this page was lacking in information, there’s a reason. Wait until the summoning.

This section is to give an explanation of general gameplay in the Fields of Justice. These rules only apply to this thread and not the Valoran thread. Read these rules carefully but don’t stress over them for when it comes time for matches, you can always refer back to the front, first topic. Also, in order to participate in the Fields of Justice, you must be a part of the League of Legends main game. If you are not, then you cannot participate.

Game Rules

1. Gold: Gold is very, very very important in the League of Legends game. Gold will allow you to buy the gear that you need in order to defeat the enemy team comfortably. Those who collect gold the fastest benefit and depending on which champion can shift the tide of war. Your champion can acquire gold in various ways and below is a detailed explanation how:
  • The Beginning – At the very beginning of each match, characters will notice that their wallets, purses, coin purses have a nice chunk of starter change. For each map:
  • Summoner’s Rift: 500 gold
  • Twisted Treeline: 850 gold
  • Howling Abyss: 1400 gold

  • Posting – Champions automatically acquire 1 gold for every post they make.
  • First Blood – First Blood is awarded to that one champion who manages to exact the very first kill of an enemy champion in a match. The amount of gold awarded to an individual is: 100 gold.
  • Champion Kills – The amount of gold a character can acquire from killing an enemy champion is from 300 to 600 gold, depending on how many champion kills that murdered champion had. The numbers we’re using specifically will be:

  • 1 kill = 300 gold
  • 2 kills = 300 gold
  • 3 kills = 363 gold
  • 4 kills = 399 gold
  • 5 kills = 439 gold
  • 6 kills = 483 gold
  • 7 kills =500 gold
  • 8 kills or more = 600 gold

To further explain, if you kill Taric and Taric has killed 7 champions in that one match, then the reward for killing him is 500 gold. If you manage to chain kill two champions, say, you kill Karma and Zyra, and we know that Karma had 0 champion kills and Zyra had 2 champion kills, then you will get 300 gold. Simple.
  • Assists – If you assist a champion in killing another champion, but you didn’t give the finishing blow, then you will receive an assist. The reward for assisting in a champion kill is 50% x (the gold of the champion killed). Similar to the explanation in the “Champion Kills” section above, the amount of gold depends on the amount of champions that champion that was murdered has slayed. Example: Darius was killed and has 2 champion kills on his current match record. 0.5 x 300 gold = 150 gold awarded for assist.

  • Minion, Monster, and Pet KillsChampions are only allowed to kill up to three minions/monsters per turn. You cannot kill 4, you cannot kill 5, you cannot kill 1,000, you can only kill 3 per turn. So, you need to decide which NPCs you’re going to kill, the minions or the monsters because you can only kill up to three. I will not be going into detail how much monsters cost when killed because that will be explained when it comes time for a match (because it depends on the map). I will tell you how much each minion is worth. 1 minion costs 5 gold. Normally, the cost of the minions would be reliant on game time, but these matches aren’t timed unless they take 3 months to complete. I may give matches a due date to be finished so as to prevent them from being drawn-out and once that due date is reached I will decide on the winner depending on the amount of damage done and the overall amount of kills a team has versus the other team. Pets; some champions have assistants or pets. If you manage to kill the champion’s pet, you will receive 10 gold.
  • Destroying Structures – Unlike the kills I’ve mentioned so far, for every turret that is destroyed the entire team receives either 100 gold or 175 gold. That is only for turrets. The turrets furthest from the enemy champions’ base are worth 100 gold. The turrets at the base guarding the inhibitors and nexus are each worth 175 gold. Champions who destroy an inhibitor or nexus will be given 50 gold, but only those champions who destroy the structures together.
  • Destroying Wards or Traps – Champions can purchase special wards that give them the ability to see hiding champions or the invisible traps of enemy champions. Destroying the ward of an enemy champion grants 15 gold and destroying their trap (ie, Teemo’s mushrooms) grants 15 gold.

  • Favor – These items are very helpful and definitely beneficial in this setting. Favor are items that grant gold and which can heal a champion over a period of time at minimum, scrapes, bruises, and small cuts. If your champion lost an arm, was disemboweled, etc. More than likely they’re going to die and these items won’t do diddly-squat for you. Below are the items, their price, and their affects:
    • Ancient Coin – grants 4 gold per turn, and offers minor healing of scrapes, cuts, and bruises. 350 gold
    • Nomad’s Medallion – grants 6 gold per turn, and offers moderate healing of deep lacerations, gashes, dislocations, and minor fractures. 850 gold
    • Talisman of Ascension – grants 6 gold per turn, and similar description as Nomad’s Medallion. 2,200 gold
    • Eye of the Oasissimilar description as other favors. 2,200 gold

Note: This was just an explanation of the “GOLD SYSTEM,” and is not to be misunderstood to be an explanation of the Gear system. I did not write a description of the gear because that is not the subject of this section.

2. Experience: The highest level a champion can reach in a single match is level 18. However, there are certain abilities that only become accessible depending on the level that character is.
  • Level 1 – You can choose which ability in your champion’s ability list that you wish to unlock first. You can unlock only one ability. Your character’s fifth ability, which is his or her ultimate cannot be unlocked at this time.
  • Level 2 – You can unlock your champion’s second ability. Your character’s ultimate cannot be unlocked at this time.
  • Level 3 – You can unlock your champion’s third ability. Your character’s ultimate cannot be unlocked at this time.
  • Level 4 – You can unlock your champion’s fourth ability. Your character’s ultimate cannot be unlocked at this time.
  • Level 5just a basic level increase.
  • Level 6 – Your character’s ultimate attack can now be unlocked.

The first six levels are your most important, and they come with an experience bar. Level 1’s experience bar is at 10 pts; Level 2 20 pts; Level 3 30 pts; etc. Your character will need to acquire 10 pts in order to reach level 2 and so on. There are several ways your character can acquire experience similar to the gold standard, but not exactly.
  • Word Count – I reward literacy seeing as this is a writing site and if you’re here, then you must like to either write or read. The xp award for word count is as follows:
    • 300 words = 1 experience point
    • 500 words = 2 experience points
    • 1,000 words = 3 experience points

If you happened to submit a post that was 1,800 words, then you simply takes (3 (for 1,000 words) + 2 (for 500+ words) = 5 experience points). It’s a very simple system.
  • Champion Kills – When you slay an enemy champion, your character will acquire 50% of the exp needed to reach the slain champion’s level. So, if you kill a level 1 champion and you’re level 1, you’re going to get 5 xp pts. Level 1 requires you to attain 10 pts in order to reach level 2, and so half of that, is 5. This percentage is increased by 7% if the champion that you slay is of a higher level. Another example, you are level 1 and you deliver the killing blow on Anivia who is level 5. First, look at Anivia’s level. She is level 5, but you get 50% of the exp needed to reach level 6. The experience bar of level 6 is 60 pts. Half of that is 30 pts. Now take the 30 pts and multiply it by 0.07 = 2.1. Now take 30 + 2.1 = 32.10 xp is awarded to you. Worst case scenario, if you don’t want to deal with the math, you can have the GM tell you exactly how much xp you were awarded. Only upon request though.
  • Champion Assists – When you assist another champion in killing an enemy champion then you both equally reap of the xp benefits, which means…one of you has to do the math! Mwuahaha! Just joking, you can ask a GM to do it for you. Only on request!

  • Minions/Proximity to the Death of a Minion – If you and another champion are together and you’re both killing your 3 minions, which means six minions will die. Then you both will reap the benefits of six minions killed because you’re both near them. One minion gives you 2 xp. So if you killed six of them. 6x2 = 12 xp baby! League of Legends is a team game so now you’re seeing the benefits of being a team versus being a loner.
  • MonstersYou can get exp for monsters but different types of monsters give different amounts. When the GM starts up a match, you will see all of this explained in that GM post.

Note: Some champions have passives that grant them or anyone near them or anyone on their team exp bonuses. I will go over xp with those champions/players specifically if we ever have them in the game.

3. No blocking. There is no blocking in the arena, so when you take damage, depending on how much you take depends entirely on the gear you bought. Now, when fighting minions, you can fight those suckers however you like. You can show off your character’s sword skills. BUT! If you engage in combat with another champion, there are a few things that will save you: 1) your gear, 2) your teammates, and 3) your abilities.

4. No Dodging. There is no dodging in the arena. The only way that champions can dodge the attack of another champion is if they have an ability that teleports them or literally allows them to dodge out of the way. Another champion on your team can use an ability to save your character from overextending, being ganged on, etc. But plain and simple, dodging relies on abilities. It’s basically the same as the blocking concept.

5. Warping. Every character has the ability to warp back to home base to buy more gear. However, the only way you can buy more gear is to go back. So if you plan on leaving your buddy, make sure he or she is at least by a turret and do not take too long to return to them. Warping has a 1 turn penalty. The turn penalty will increase depending on how deep into enemy territory your team has advanced but that will be explained in a GM post. It will depend on the type of map the match takes place in. This is to prevent writers from cheating with character transitions. It also makes the RP challenging.

6. Gear. Champions can only equip up to 6 items. Some items require a champion to purchase prerequisite items in order to upgrade to a master item. Your gear determines how long you will survive, how much damage, let’s just say it determines everything! And they’re all different. Here is the master list of all the items your champion could use from the official League of Legends website: click here

When a match begins, every purchase a character makes will be judged and approved by a GM. There are items that have a lot of statistical jargon in their descriptions and the GM(s) will basically narrow it down for you and tell you what the item will do for you in this text role play game. So don’t go running off. Check your items with a GM. A match will not officially begin until all items have been checked by a GM.

Tagging

The tag for the Fields of Justice is different from Valoran, and it is very important to have. There are certain things that must be advertised for everyone’s benefit.

Champion: His or her name.
Affiliation: City-state or Country.
Role: Now, this is where it’s different from Valoran’s tag. Because champion selection is random, you could end up in a team of rangers or mages. A tank is very necessary in most matches. If your champion isn’t normally a tank, then with the right gear you can make them whatever role you want. However, you must state that here so your team will know.
Attributes: The attributes won’t necessarily change. There are champions specifically designed to do one thing and you can’t tell a scorpion not to be a scorpion.
Match Date: The date of the match will allow us to keep track of them all since they’ll all be consolidated into this thread.
Location: You can say your character’s specific location. Which lane? Top, Bottom, Mid?
Tagging: Who are you interacting with directly. Mentioned: What character did you mention in your post? Usually, a character who isn’t present.
Level: What level is your character currently in the match.
Experience: 0/10 (for level 1 increase it by 10 every level)
Gold: How much gold do you have?
Battle Stats
K: (Kills) D: (Deaths) A: (Assists)

Basic Role Play-Related Rules

1. Arena. This is an Arena area. The characters in this thread have been summoned here randomly.
2. Summoning. If your champion is summoned to the Fields of Justice, you can still resume play in the Main Thread as though they had been summoned on another date. However, you must answer the call.
3. Duels. Players may get into duels due to champion rivalry. Champions can choose to duel within the Fields of Justice in a 1 v 1 match or they can choose to duel in their current dimension (Main Thread). Warning: If champions duel and one of them dies in Valoran, then they will die for real. Thus is why the Fields of Justice exist. They are to help keep the peace and they are an alternative form of warfare between nations.
4. Tagging. Use the tag please.
5. OOC. Keep all OOC comments in the OOC thread.

Coch Talesin

Location: Ozpin's Office

It was late at night by the time Coch arrived to Ozpin’s Office. His body ached, the pads of his fingers burned, and when he arrived he didn’t have much energy left to stay awake. The guitarist was seated against the wall with his legs stretched out before him, his Stratocaster leaning against his left shoulder, and his mouth hanging open in a most unappealing manner. His eyes were closed and he was snoring softly—more than likely having fallen asleep without realizing it.

Valoran

Valoran is the name of the supercontinent in which the League of Legends takes place. It is a high-fantasy world with city-states supervised by The High Council of Equity. The recognized countries and city states are:

The Countries of Valoran

  • Bilgewater Union
  • Empire of Noxus
  • Empire of Shurima
  • Ionia
  • Kingdom of Demacia
  • Kingdom of Freljord

The City-States

  • Bandle City
  • Piltover
  • Zaun

Unknown/Non-Governed Territories

  • Mount Targon
  • Shadow Isles
  • The Ten Unexplored Seas

Each country, city-state, and tribe have a diplomat known as the Emissary of the League. The emissary is the one who submits the names of randomly selected champions to be summoned to The Fields of Justice. Characters who are summoned will see their name listed in a GM message. In-game, characters will see a portal open before them. That portal will be the door to transport them to a match. Characters won’t know who will be on their team. It may be a friend, it may be a rival, or it may be a complete stranger whom they have never served with.

Role Play

When a player is writing in a certain city, then he or she will utilize the tagging system to state their location so that others will know. The tagging system will also be used to let readers know which champions were either directly spoken to/interacted with or mentioned in their post. The tag can be found below:

Champion: His or her name.
Affiliation: City-state.
Role: If you filled out a CS, then you know what this means.
Attributes: If you filled out a CS, then you know what this means.
Time/Date: Mars (March) 4-31 (you can role play any scenes between those dates) 7116 (the year) A.R.W. (After the Rune War)
Location: Where are you in the world. Be as specific as possible.
Tagging: Who are you talking immediately to. Mentioned: What character was mentioned in the post but not directly spoken to?

NPCs & Establishments

Players can create common NPCs or establishments that characters can use, or they may be people who they will see all the time. The player who created the NPC can opt to control that NPC for all characters who visit the establishment or leave them as an open role to be played whenever necessary. There will be a list of NPCs and establishments for each city in a hider. If a named NPC or establishment is created, I ask that the player(s) who created them send me a PM so that I can keep track and add it to the list.

You will find the NPC list in a hider beneath the list of countries, city-states, and unknown areas above.

More Threads

If we get a ton of people in this game, then I will be giving each major city such as Demacia, Noxus, etc. their own thread and it will be linked here. This will be to help us organize the IC plots that are going on so that we don't over-clutter this one IC.

Rules

1. Sandbox. This is a sandbox area. Storylines will be either guided by those individual players running them or by the GM.
2. Summoning. If your champion is summoned to the Fields of Justice, you can still resume play as though they had been summoned on another date. However, you must answer the call.
3. Duels. Players may get into duels due to champion rivalry. Champions can choose to duel within the Fields of Justice in a 1 v 1 match or they can choose to duel in their current dimension. Warning: If champions duel and one of them dies in Valoran, then they will die for real. Thus is why the Fields of Justice exist. They are to help keep the peace and they are an alternative form of warfare between nations.
4. Tagging. Use the tag please.
5. No OOC. Keep all OOC comments in the OOC thread. That's why it is there. Also be sure to "@Mention" the person you are talking to out oc courtesy.

Links

A link to the Arena thread will be posted here soon for when the time comes. Also, if we get a ton of people in this game, then you may find links to specific nations such as Demacia, Noxus, etc. For all RP being conducted within the jurisdiction of those nations.

Fields of Justice (Arena)

Synopsis

MENTION ME ALWAYS OR I WILL OVERLOOK YOUR CS! IT HAPPENS EVERY TIME! MENTION ME!!!!

League of Legends is an MMO Moba-Style game, and it is what this role play is based on. You do not have to have played League of Legends in order to join this game. Everything you need to know will be in this Interest Check as well as in the OOC thread. You can refer to the League of Legends wikia for more information about characters that you feel you may be interested in role playing or ask the GM and your fellow players for suggestions. Some players may want to have the relative, lover, or companion of the character they are currently playing so there will be roles for everyone. Let me go ahead and say that you can only have ONE character starting out because I am anticipating that this game will draw a lot of attention. So one for now. If I see some long-term dedication, then I'll unlock second characters.

Setting

Runeterra is the fictional world and Valoran is its main supercontinent. There are twelve oceans with three archipelagos, and a few moons orbit the planet.

In the north, there are: Demacia, Freljord, the Howling Marsh, Ironspike Mountains, Kaladoun, Kalamanda, the Marshes of Kaladoun, Noxus, Piltover, The Great Barrier, and Zaun.

In the south, there are: Fyrone Flats, Icathia, Kumungu, Plague Jungles, Sablestone Mountains, Shurima, Tempest Falls, Urtistan, Voodoo Lands, and Yordle Land.

The surrounding lands harbor: the Guardian’s Sea, Isle of Buhru, Serpentine River, Ionia, Galrin, Hirana Monastery, Kinkou Monastery, Shon-Xan, Temple of Pallas, Temple of the Jagged Knife, Tevasa Mountain, Tuula, Zhyun, Knife Straits, The Shroud, Conqueror’s Sea, and 10 unexplored seas.

There are many lands, oceans, and seas that characters can explore in the Valoran IC. This game is heavily high fantasy with a mixture of nearly every genre. So, if you’ve made it this far, continue yon reader!

Valoran

This will be the name of the IC thread that I will create (the information is already made just not posted up). There will be a "location" system so that players won't get confused as to the location of other characters.

The League of Legends is supervised by a council of three powerful summoners known as The High Council of Equity. Each summoner has been on the council since the League’s inception. There are several Valorian city-states that the League recognizes:

  • Bandle City
  • Bilgewater
  • Demacia
  • Freljord
  • Ionia
  • Noxus
  • Piltover
  • Zaun

Within each of these city-states is a person known as the Emissary of the League, a diplomat who enacts the will of the League. The emissary is the one who will randomly summon champions to the arena. Any questions, comments, or concerns about League decisions can be brought to an emissary as long as the champion makes an appointment.

Role Play

There will be two IC threads: Valoran (Advanced Section) and The Fields of Justice (Arena Section).

In the Valoran IC thread, players will be sandboxing. They can also come up with interesting storylines to role play out with other characters/players. You will be free to explore the entirety of Runeterra as well as go on voyages to explore the unexplored seas. Be creative, but most of all, interact and make this community a fun place for all.

The Fields of Justice IC thread is where the battles will take place. Characters are randomly summoned there, but are able to continue to role play in Valoran regardless of the arena result. Champions who die in the arena are basically sent back to the Respawn Point. A more detailed explanation of the rules will be explained in the Arena IC thread. The Arena follows the same capture the flag/base principles of the game. The Arena is also where characters can take their personal gripes. They can have 1 vs 1 matches or they can have 3 vs 3. The typical battle will be 5 vs 5, and champions will be summoned there in the same manner as Queen’s Blade (Anime/Ecchi) if you ever watched it. If you haven’t seen it, no biggie, I already said that it’s random. Briefly, I will mention that the Arena will follow a XP and gold system based on word count, minion kills, and champion kills. 1 gold is acquired automatically for every post made in the arena thread. The champions start off with a chunk of change in the coin purse that they can spend on starting items. After that, you either decide to farm or fight to overwhelm the enemies’ turrets, inhibitors, and nexus. Players will be able to record their champion’s kill streak, death streak, and victories in the champion’s profile. It’s all for fun.

As people are applying to this game, be sure to reserve the character you want. Nothing is set in stone. If I don't get a detailed CS for that character by the 7th day after you've reserved him/her, then I will drop your reservation and open the character up for grabs. All good questions will be collected at the bottom of this introduction in a Q&A. All characters reserved or approved will be kept in an up-to-date list that players can refer to. ALSO at the bottom of this thread. Just because a character is reserved doesn’t mean it was approved. You should only give your hopes up if the player is approved.

Character Creation

Here is a list of champions currently in the League of Legends. Understand that this list will be updated occasionally because Riot likes to create champions monthly. This list is in ABC order according to the official site of the League of Legends franchise. If you see a champion's name highlighted in orange, then that role is reserved. If you see a champion's name slashed out and in red, that champion is taken.

Character Rules

Players cannot gender-bend the canons.

Champions are allowed to show love interest to any champion they so desire. They do not have to be bound to their lore. However, if you wish to play out their lore, you can do so.

This is a massive list of playable characters. If you wish to research more about a character, then I recommend using the official homepage of the League of Legends game and Youtube. They have the most up-to-date information versus the wikia.

Special Abilities
Without going into statistics, give a description of your character’s abilities passive and active. Be sure to list them as active or passive. These abilities can better your champion’s chance of survival in a match. I will be reading over these and having you edit them so that they are adapted for Role Play purposes and not game mechanics. To go ahead and give you an idea of how I will be limiting the special powers, instead of using "time," I will have you use "turns." If this is confusing to you, then don't worry about it. As I said, I will be having you make these corrections.

By now, I am sure that you noticed that I didn’t add a background to the character sheet. The reason is because you can read that information online. I didn’t want players to have to regurgitate what’s already an open source resource for anyone to read.

I encourage everyone to take that character sheet and beautify it. I gave you what you basically need in your profile. Now go crazy. Below, you will see an example profile of how it should be filled out.

Rules

1. Activity. This has been my activity policy since the first game I ever created. It is fair and gives players more than enough time. If a player goes absent without telling me his or her whereabouts, then they have 14 days from the time they last posted to get in contact with me or to just let us know of his or her whereabouts. If 14 days goes by, then the player will be NPCed. If 30 days go by, then the character sheet will be dropped from the game and the champion will be tossed back into the character selection pool.
2. Drama. Keep it to a minimum. Try to keep any personal or sensitive conversations out of the OOC. This will ensure that no player gets offended.
3. Respect. Please be respectful. If you have an issue with someone, take it to PMs or just stop interacting with that person. If you come to this game to cause a problem, then I will ask you to leave.
4. Character Limit. At this time, players are only allowed 1 character. If I have some dedicated and long-term players, then later I will allow them to create a second character. At this time though, players are only allowed 1 character to ensure that everyone gets a chance to play who they want and that not one person is monopolizing on a group.

These rules are smaller than normal but we’re all adults here (most of us). I covered most of the rules throughout this introduction.

Q&A

This will be here for commonly asked or good questions.

Player Temporary Absences

This section helps the GM keep track of players on temporary leave or vacation.

BreakingMe - Vacation until Sunday, August 28.
All right; so the interest check can be found here: roleplayerguild.com/topics/139001-leag..

Just be warned that it is an Advanced RP game. If you are one of those people who like to write 1 to 2 sentences, then look away.

If you want to make any comments toward this game, make them in the Advanced Interest Check and MENTION ME! If I overlook your comment, then you were warned because it happens every time. Mention me, mention me, mention me. I cannot say this enough.

Q&A

This will be here for commonly asked or good questions.
@TachiI hope the GM isn't overwhelmed and can keep up with all of these character sheets.
The Alien

Name: Zergheist Yahfron O Nut – The first underlined word is his first name and also the name of the scientist who created him. The second underlined word is the name of the project he was born from. The third underlined letter are the type of cells that were infused with his Ixo cells. The last underlined word is the name of his mother whose egg was donated for the project. Nut is pronounced like the word “Newt.”

Nickname: Zebra*, Zyon, Zy, The Alien, Space Elf, or Zee.

Alias: Zyon (sounds like Zion)

Age: Appears to be in his mid-twenties.

World of Origin: OC; Ixos - Red Spiral Galaxy

Race: Ixan

Biodata

Ixans are an alien race from what astronomers call the Red Spiral Galaxy or RSG. Their home planet is named Ixos, one of three other planets that are invaders to their galaxy. The invaders are living planets that Ixans call, “Ujas” or “The Swarm.” Ixans are all bioengineered beings created to defend their planet from all invaders that would cause it harm. Ixans are very similar to Humans in appearance except that their hair colors can vary to colors impossible for most humans such as blue, pink, purples, etc. Their skin varies from tan to dark in complexion to the giant sun at the center of the RSG named “No.” With No being so large, the Ixans have a higher heat toleration than normal Humans (that’s about as hot as temperatures recorded in Death Valley, CA) as well as cold for every night when the sun sets, the planet plummets to temperatures starting at 32 to minus 16 in Fahrenheit. No also makes the gravity of Ixos greater five times than that of Earth, making the Ixans muscle and skeletal properties denser than a normal human’s.

Ixans are constantly developing new technology to improve their people and better adapt them to fight The Swarm threat. DNA is recoded and artificial cells created that reprogram the development of Ixan embryo making them stronger, faster, sturdier, and more intelligent than those created from past projects. Zyon was one of these beings created in a lab from Dr. Zhergeist Myex Z Fa and his mother Nut Xila M Eun.

Physical and Mental Abilities

On Ixos, the Ixans created directly from the lab are slightly superhuman in comparison to those who have reproduced naturally over the years. Ixans live average lives, mostly farming and tending to the flora and fauna of their planet to better prolong its existence in order to promote theirs. The technology uses natural energy that promotes life on the planet, and the destructive forms of energy are used in the defense of the planet. While all Ixans are soldiers capable of taking up arms at any moment to defend their planet from invaders, the Ixans born directly from projects already have their lives mapped out for them. They are the soldiers.

Ixan Strength/Speed/Reflexes/Endurance/Toughness/Senses

The true strength of an Ixan depends on gravity. If an Ixan were to go to earth for example, with Earth’s gravity being 9.8 m/s2. Ixos is five times that amount making it 49 m/s2. An Ixan would be able to perform stunts that Earthlings would deem superhuman. For RP purposes and to shy away from math and science, I’m just going to keep it simple and say that at most if Zyon were to be on Earth, then he could lift 25 tons. As long as he isn’t restricted by a gravity greater than 49 m/s2, then he will demonstrate abnormal strength.

Speed, on Earth, would be 45 mph, and his reflexes would allow him to dodge and block objects travelling at the speed of most small arm weapons.

Due to his bioengineering, his body produces less toxins and therefore, Ixans can wage a war for days on end with little rest. Three days at most for each Ixan before they must rest.

Ixans are a tough species. Unlike Humans, they cannot be killed by a sharp stick. A sharp stick would snap in collision with their sturdy muscles and skin before it would ever pierce it. They can tolerate abuse from lost limbs, multiple stabbings, and severe burns before they would ever call it quits. They are resistant to most toxins, due to their body’s ability to rapidly filter harmful substances. They are designed to take punishment for The Swarm does only that. It does not feel; it does not regret; and it does not care for anything other than itself.

Ixan’s carry above-average hearing, able to hear a whisper if the whisper were made in the same room. As for if there were obstacles in the way such as a wall, then Ixans can hear at most a conversation made at a normal spoken volume, any louder than most definitely. They can see clearly up to 300 m, and so scoped weapons aren’t always necessary, and like animals, can smell certain emotions exuded by other lifeforms such as fear, anxiety, and also when a possible mate is in heat. Through touch, Ixans can perceive the direction and the distance a being is walked by feeling the vibrations of their steps through the floor. They can also perceive how many beings are in the next room based on hearing and feeling how many different footstep patterns are made. No assumption is ever perfect, but there is a slight accuracy. Taste; Ixans love good food especially organic food. They taste deeper than most and so are true gourmet when it comes to their meals. They can identify toxins from the slightest taste.

The Ixan Brain

An Ixan’s brain functions quickly, which allows for Ixans to make quick subconscious decisions without being entirely consciously aware. This is what gives them their immediate reaction time to approaching assaults and other projectiles. It also allows them to devise swift strategies to exploit an opponent’s weakness. Zyon was raised for combat and so the front line is where he is most effective. When he reads books, he appears to be skimming, but his brain is actually processing the language. He is capable of learning a multitude of languages through association alone. Lastly, the Ixan brain has the unique ability to project energy that is invisible to the average eye. It is a psyenergy that allows Ixans to use telekinesis to move objects, halt objects, and vibrate objects to pieces. This psyenergy also allows them to bond with their Aegis System.

Zyon Appearance

Zyon is a brown-skinned, white-haired, 6’3” and 340 lbs male. He doesn’t appear as heavy as his weight implies due to the natural increased density of his muscles, bones, and skin. Unfortunately, if anyone wanted to carry him out of a firefight, they would find him to be one heavy mofo. His exotic features are seen in his eyes and ears. His eyes are a bright pink with golden flecks in them, those flecks being the O cells or what are otherwise called, ‘Circle Cells,’ which are trademark to those Ixans born from the Yahfron Project.

His brown skin is also covered in black stripes, which can only be explained as a possible side-effect of the O cells conflicting with the pigmentation of the Ixan Cells. He is mostly seen wearing his fighter pilot jumpsuit that acts as a uniform while within the Aegis unit, as well as a battle uniform for infantry-style combat. Details about this uniform are explained in another section.

Besides his interesting eyes, another exotic trait are the shell of his ears that are slightly pointed like how Humans would describe the ears of an elf. They round out like a leaf and point at the tips, and are no longer than two and a half inches. His teeth slightly sharp made for tearing and grinding down all forms of food no matter how hard or tough. Back to his hair, it is pretty long, but doesn’t touch his shoulders. Feathery layers of his hair sometimes obscures his eyes and hide the unusual tips of his ears. It is smooth and silky to the touch and he can style it by pushing it back with a hairband or even braid the longer ends.

Personality

Social Bubble Breaker | Curious | Gourmet | Cocky | Undying Will

Zebra, as he tends to be called due to his striped skin, can be intimidating at first. He is an alien after all from a universe that is outside most who share the same galaxy. He is a big dude, and at first he didn’t understand the team, but it only took him a few hours to learn the overall language. He still doesn’t know all words, but he can learn as he goes because he speaks Ixan, which actually sounds pretty interesting. It sounds very similar to Cantonese but with rolled R sounds and longer tones at time. Therefore when Zebra speaks some of his sounds are longer than others. Example:

“What arrre yoouu talking about?”

His accent is very distinct due to those reasons.

There is much the alien may not understand about other beings from other universes and thus will get curious. Females be warned, he may laugh at those with small busts, finding it to be highly unusual for Ixan women are designed to produce multiple eggs and raise many young. You can only imagine their cup size.

Zebra was raised for battle and he primarily fights using his Aegis unit. If tasked to go on the ground as a foot soldier, then those lucky enough to witness will see that his fighting techniques are quite the mesmerizing sight to behold. He is engineered to seek out a weakness and exploit it, and that is what his brain does. He can guard his defenses exceptionally well and for a long period, which is usually long enough for him to open a hole in his opponent’s defense.

The mecha pilot is very open about his opinions and is unafraid to call another teammate’s strategy stupid or even openly talk about a person for well…his culture is different. Ixans have tough skin—not just physically but mentally—and so some things said can be deemed without filter. He may just have to learn the hard way. There are no social bubbles in Ixos so if an Ixan is talking to another, they can stand creepily close to another person almost to the point where they can feel one’s breath on one’s face.

Zebra carries an undying spirit or will, which basically means he will fight until he can’t no more. Until he’s either unconscious or dead. He will protect those he cares about and sacrifice himself to protect others. It may not just be what he’s designed to do, but his actual personality.

When out of combat, Zebra will work out, train, and enjoy his favorite time of the day: meal time. No one will ever see Zebra late to breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and they’d be wise to get there before he or Kirby get there for there may not be any leftovers. He takes meal time seriously for it not only allows him to feed his cells, but because it sends so many positives to his brain. Therefore, if Zebra is hungry or if he ever misses a meal, he can be extremely cranky and negative toward the team.

When he sleeps, he doesn’t sleep in a bed. He sleeps hooked up to his Aegis system for the system harmonizes with his own biological one and allows him to keep synchronization with his unit. He doesn’t like to be disturbed from his naps or when he’s sleeping, but if a friend needs to talk to him about anything that might be bothering him or her, he will listen. Just don’t mind his cranky mutterings.

The Pilot

Aegis Jumpsuit

Pilot Variant: The jumpsuit is semipermeable skin that allows for the skin of the pilot to breathe. It is black in appearance and smooth in texture, coating the body like a thick second skin. The skin moves almost symbiotically. It is released from the armbands and boots of the pilot, spreading over the pilot’s body to merge together. Built into the pilot’s sides are ports that allow for the pilot’s mind and body to be plugged into the conscious of the Aegis Unit. The helmet opens and closes about the head of the pilot, willed to do so by the pilot’s mind.

Combat Variant: On the ground, the suit is similar to the pilot variant except that it carries a sturdy and flexible exoskeleton that protects the back, torso, groin, knees, shoulders, and elbows of the wearer in a gray matter. The helmet is still worn and grants Zebra a 360 degree view of the area around him, increased listening, and communication with his team. However, when tracking enemies through touch or smell, he must remove his helmet and his gauntlets in order to do so.

Equipment

  • Storage Belt: A belt with various small compartments for storing things.
  • Ammo Pack: A pack at his hip that carries power cells to recharge his Disaster weapons.
  • EVAC Kit: A kit that comes with basic medical equipment. He still has slimes from his universe that he can use to cover burns and other gaping wounds. They’re unflattering but hey, he’s saving your life! The EVAC Kit can be filled with normal remedies and medical equipment. It also contains reflectors, markers, ropes and cords and signal equipment for evacuation.
  • Hacking Kit: On his other hip is a pack that carries a few wires that Zebra can plug into his helmet. As he is able to do so with his Aegis Unit, Zebra can infiltrate an enemy network and hack its programs to open inaccessible areas or disable security systems. He can also reprogram most enemy machines if they are controlled by that network.
  • Rations: He carries several vacuum-packed snacks to keep his spirits up and his appetite at bay. He doesn’t mind sharing with the team.

Weapons

  • Disaster Rifle x1
  • Disaster Pistols x2
  • Disaster Grenades x4
  • Disaster C4 x4
  • Disaster Knife (Red) x 1

The Aegis Unit

Type: Hecatonchire

Form: Colossus

Processor: Remote and Sync – The mecha is controlled by syncing with the pilot’s conscious. The pilot is plugged into its system and the pilot basically becomes the mecha. This allows the mecha to perform stunts similar to what the pilot can do naturally. The mecha can also be controlled by remote means, but it won’t be able to perform tasks such as launching missiles and other attacks or hacking into systems without the pilot. In remote mode, the mecha is only capable of melee combat, which it will mimic the moves that the pilot makes outside the cockpit.

Description: The Hecatonchire is a cyclops unit with six arms and two legs. The mecha stands 40 m tall, and isn’t something you’d want to go head to head with. Unless, of course, you have a mecha of your own or a kaiju.

Security System: Unfortunately, the Hecatonchire can only be piloted by the pilot with the appropriate suit. It will not acknowledge intruders. Hecatonchire has shields to keep it from being peppered by small arms fire from enemy fighters. The shield can be taken down by high-powered enemy attacks.

Weapon System: In the Colossus form, the mecha can perform close-quarters combat through hand-to-hand techniques or employ up to six plasma sabers for each of its hands. The mecha has numerous thrusters that allows it to swiftly maneuver the battlefield or immediately brake. It can deploy up to twelve missiles at a target and contains a hyper cannon at its core for obliterating installations in a mighty concussive beam. Similar to Zebra, the mecha carries one rifle, two pistols, and grenades that can level a block.

Emergency System: The Aegis Unit can sense the pilot’s distress. While the pilot is engineered to fight longer than an average pilot could, if the system deems that the pilot may not survive, then it will safely eject the pilot from the cockpit in a casket-like capsule that literally embeds itself into the ground for protection. Within the capsule, the pilot will undergo a stabilizing program that prolong the pilot’s life, but it can’t do so forever. Even Ixans need to eat, drink, and breathe.

Unique Traits: Multi-tasker; rotating limbs and torso.

Form: Fighter (Aerial)

Description: The mecha can transform into a ship for swifter travel. The fighter ship has six wings just as it would have six arms in its bipedal form. The ship resembles an F-18 Hornet in shape.

Security System: Similar to the Colossus security system, however, the Hornet can carry a second passenger as long as Zebra informs the system that there will be a “guest.” Otherwise, unwelcome guests can face ejection.

Weapon System: Similar to the Colossus system except that it cannot use the hyper cannon function. It can speed by and drop bombs (what would be the grenades) onto bases and ships. It can also pepper other ships with rapid-fire plasma rounds.

Emergency System: Similar to the Colossus system.

Unique Traits: Perch; in fighter form, the ship can plant itself like a bug onto other ships and go into a cloak mode. This cloak mode can be used to secretly board an enemy ship or hack into its network. Most ships have shields, but once those shields go down, then the opportunity is there for the taking. The fighter ship will lower its legs that allow it to walk and stick to most surfaces like a bird. It allows the ship to also spring into the air for a quicker launch.
