Markus chuckled and shook his head as a wide smile spread across his face. "No, that you most certainly are not," he said. The smile quickly faded from his face, however, as the weight of the loss of three members of their small cell truly hit him. In the years since they had started their cell, the deaths at the hands of the Imperials had mostly been few and far between, and never multiple people at once. Even in the last few months, when Jason had ramped up the actions against the Imperials into more serious and violent endeavors than the cell had traditionally done, the losses had always been one here, one there. Losing the E-web was also a blow, but Markus knew that any serious action needed people, not just equipment.

"We're going to need to be more careful," he said. "Lay low a bit for a few days, maybe a few weeks. We can't afford to lose many more people, Jason. Coruscant is still the capital of the Empire, and as much as I'd like to see the Alliance come riding in right after the Emperor died and save the day, I don't think it's going to happen any time soon. We need to start looking at the long game."
So which would you prefer about going full?
After an hour of trudging down long, sometimes unstable sets of ferrocrete stairs, Markus reached the level on which fifth house was located. Taking a seat on one of the stairs, Markus took a few minutes to look around at the passers-by and people on the street, ensuring he did not see anything suspicious, such as someone watching fifth house or paying too much attention to him. Once he was satisfied that everything was safe, Markus got up, walked up to the house, and knocked on the door. He heard some shuffling from inside as someone came to the door, no doubt looking through the peephole to identify who it was, and a moment later the door opened.

"Markus, come in, come in," said the owner, putting a hand on Markus's shoulder and guiding him inside before quickly closing the door and locking it.

"There are others coming," said Markus. "Jason and a group got hit by some Imps while everyone was celebrating. I think they're gonna start cracking down on everyone up there for revenge."

The owner nodded somberly and said, "I will make ready some beds in case there are any wounded. But please, help yourself to any food or drink you want."

"Thank you," said Markus, moving into the kitchen and grabbing a glass of alcohol before sitting down to wait for Jason.
Just shoot me a PM about which one you guys would like to do. :)
Hey there, Hotshot here. I'm an unabashed Star Wars buff, and almost all of my roleplays occur in that universe. I am currently only in 1 roleplay on this new site, and am looking to pick up at least one more. Below are some plots that I would like to roleplay, but feel free to add to them, or to come up with your own plots if you think I would be interested in it. First the rules, then the plots.

1) Please don't get into a roleplay with me unless you are committed to seeing it to the end.
2) On that note, if for some reason you cannot or do not want to continue, please do me the courtesy of letting me know, rather than just disappearing. Nothing is more classless than to just disappear without saying anything because someone is too cowardly to be honest.
3) I like to roleplay things realistically, so no uber-powerful abilities, no perfect characters, et cetera. Characters with flaws, who aren't perfect, are what interest me. One guy mowing down thirty enemies does not.
4) I only to MxF romances, and only when I am playing the male. I do occasionally have some female characters, for purposes of expanding my in-universe "family" of characters, and may be open to FxF when doing that. Romance is NOT necessary.
5) Cursing, violence, gore, and sex are not things I shy away from, but, like romance, these things are NOT necessary.

So now some plots:

--Infiltrate and Destroy: This is a military-themed special forces roleplay. We would be New Republic Special Forces soldiers who are given a mission to infiltrate an Imperial fortress world and destroy a high-payoff target in order to set conditions for the Republic to invade and capture the planet. However, the planet's defenses are not all they seem to be, and we find ourselves far deeper into a situation than we initially ever expected.

--Search and Rescue: Another military-themed roleplay. Again, New Republic Special Forces, although you would play a pre-made character from my character's history; his love interest who is serving as an intelligence officer. The intelligence officer is captured on a mission and must be rescued by my character before she is interrogated and executed by the Empire.

--The Underworld: This is a roleplay where we would both play characters on the wrong side of the law. I have a smuggler character, but you could be a smuggler, a bounty hunter, or any other underworld-type character. We get betrayed by the crime boss we work for, and set out to make a fortune on our own while simultaneously getting revenge on the crime boss.
Markus's comlink chirped again, and he answered it. "The lines are broken, they'll be on their way. I'll meet you at the fifth house," said Jason.

Markus did not like the sound of what Jason was saying; if they were meeting at the fifth house, it meant that Jason did not think they would be able to get to the Cafe, or if they did get there, that they would not be safe for long. Markus had no idea what kind of Imperial force was coming towards them from Jason's direction, but he knew it had to be bad if his friend was advocating traveling down into the seedier lower levels of Coruscant to hide.

As the people cleared quickly off of the street, Markus spun around and around once again, looking for the beautiful blonde woman he had been dancing with earlier. Unfortunately, she was nowhere to be found. On the other hand, maybe it's fortunate that she's already gone, thought Markus. That probably means she's gotten to safety. Disappointed nevertheless that he would not be able to take her with him to safety, Markus quickly stuffed his blaster pistol back into the makeshift holster inside his jacket and took off running himself, blending into the crowd of mass hysteria. He made his way towards one of the large, long, ferrocrete staircases which would lead him down a level. The staircases were incredibly old, and some thought them unsafe, but in either case, the Imperials rarely, if ever, used them. It would take him longer to get down to a lower level this way than using one of the turbolifts or a speeder, but it would ultimately be safer and stealthier, and he knew he would get there in one piece without being stopped or detained.
What would you prefer?
So I was thinking, when we go full-on roleplay with other members, we want to keep it just with people in the cell, correct? No Imperial players?

He has a sound tactical mind, and is an outstanding small-unit leader, from squad-sized elements all the way up to company-sized task forces. He is a natural-born leader, and his charisma helps him to easily win the respect and admiration of the men he leads and motivate them even under the most dire of circumstances. He is in excellent shape, which he maintains through a strict regimen of running, body weight exercises, and weight lifting. He is an excellent rifle shot, scoring perfect marks on his qualification with the A-280 rifle, and is an above-average shot with his pistol. Patrick excels under pressure; he is able to maintain his cool even while being shot at and having things explode around him, and can calmly make the proper decisions and direct his troops to victory against the enemy, never letting the situation overwhelm him. He can have a short temper, and is extremely distrustful of those he does not know, often holding back and refusing to work well with them until they have proven themselves trustworthy and useful.

History: Patrick Rudder was born on Alderaan to a Republic Naval officer named Kaven Rudder and a preschool teacher named Diana. He grew up in a household where loyalty and service to the Republic, and later the Empire, was admired and respected, and spoken of highly. Patrick thus grew up with a strong sense of duty and honor, and from the time he was old enough to remember, he desired to serve in the Imperial military. He was an above-average student, and an exceptional athlete, particularly in hoverball. When he was 17, he applied to and was accepted to the Imperial Military Academy on Carida, which specialized in training Stormtrooper officers. His father would have preferred that Patrick go into the Navy, like his own career, but the Army or Stormtrooper Corps appealed much more to Patrick. He excelled at the Academy, earning top grades in his military-focused studies while becoming an expert shot with carbines and rifles. He displayed excellent leadership of his fellow cadets, and by the time he graduated he was selected for the Imperial Stormtrooper Corps.

Patrick was sent to the 11th Stormtrooper Legion, where he served as a Stormtrooper platoon leader. He participated in the quelling of a Rebel uprising on Torfan, where he got his first taste of combat and earned the respect of his Stormtroopers with his calm demeanor and quick decision-making under fire. After a year of being a platoon leader, Patrick applied for and was selected to undergo training for a specialized group of Stormtroopers under Crix Madine: the Storm Commandos. Patrick excelled in the training and testing, and was one of the first Storm Commando officers, leading a team of Commandos on numerous missions for the Empire. However, over the next year, the missions Patrick and his team were sent on with the Storm Commandos made Patrick increasingly disillusioned with the Empire and its stated goals. It seemed to him that they were being used more for terror, reprisal, and executions than truly defending the Empire.

The destruction of Alderaan, his homeworld, by the Death Star in 0BBY finally pushed Patrick over the edge. The day Alderaan died, Patrick resolved that his service to the Empire was over, and that he would make his defection to the Alliance. He planned his escape over the next few months, and three months after the Battle of Yavin, Patrick defected to the Alliance to Restore the Republic, offering his services and skills as a special forces officer. After a lengthy vetting process, the Alliance accepted him and promoted him to Captain. He was assigned to a brand-new organization, Alliance Special Forces, under a familiar leader: General Crix Madine, recently defected from the Empire as well. Patrick would be one of the founding platoon leaders in SpecForce, and was instrumental in helping General Madine form the training and evaluation for the 4th Regiments of the divisions, which were the Wilderness Fighters, or Rangers, troops who specialized in fighting in forests, tundra, jungles, and otherwise isolated locations behind enemy lines where resupply and support were difficult. For the next two years, Patrick would serve as a platoon leader with Alpha Company, 4th Regiment, 5th SpecForce division, which was a rogue division.

In 2 ABY, the company commander, Captain Moraelsi, was killed in action during an operation on Belsavis, and Patrick was promoted to Major and given command of the Company. Patrick would lead the company through the devastating Battle of Hoth, where the company was assigned the task of helping evacuate personnel off the planet and fought a rearguard before escaping on one of the last transports off the planet.

In 4 ABY, the Alliance received communication from one of their intelligence agents, a Bothan named Gath Laons'hir, made contact after being under deep cover and informed his handlers that he had obtained vital intelligence information that was critical to the survival of the Alliance. Patrick and his company were routed to the planet on which Gath was operating, Exaron, and told to make contact and retrieve the intelligence. Patrick landed with a small strike team in the forests outside the capital of the planet, Vratokh, where they met with Gath's partner. The partner informed them that Gath had been captured, but that he would lead them to his location. The partner betrayed them, however, and led them into an Imperial ambush which killed Patrick's strike team of eighteen men, save for two snipers who escaped, and wounded Patrick, leading to the Imperials capturing him.

While transporting Patrick back to Vratokh to interrogate him, however, the Imperials were themselves ambushed by a local dissident cell. The cell, led by a man named Bishop, had learned of an Alliance Special Forces officer being captured, and rescued him with the hope of Patrick aiding them. Patrick struck a deal with Bishop: he would help the local cell in their fight against the Empire in exchange for help in linking up with Gath and escaping off-world. A Zeltron female named Dela was ordered to work with Patrick, and they accomplished several small missions for the cell. However, after surviving a close call and an ambush by an Imperial Storm Commando team, Patrick began to suspect a traitor within the cell. He shared his fears with Bishop, who assigned the cell's slicer, Nara, to try to track any suspicious computer movement by anyone in the cell. Patrick also tailed one of the cell's operations and discovered that Imperial Scout Troopers were tracking them. He killed one and captured the other, and an interrogation confirmed that there was a mole in the cell. The searching and tracking by Nara uncovered the traitor, but also alerted the Imperials that their cover had been blown. Unbeknownst to Patrick and the Rebellion, the intelligence Gath had concerned an Imperial officer, Lieutenant Colonel Moreau, who wished to defect. The Empire had hoped to use the traitor within the cell to follow Patrick to Moreau, and then recapture them both. With their operation blown, the Imperial Governor, Julius Talid, launched an assault on the cell's hideout. Bishop was killed, and Patrick, Dela, Nara, and several other of the cell members were forced to fight their way out and escape through a secret exit.

Markus heard the chirping of his comlink, telling him that he had an incoming call, but he decided to ignore it. This girl was too beautiful, and at the moment, he could not care less who was calling him; what could be so important, after all, during a time such as this? Taking the girl's hand, Markus pulled her close, and kissed her on the lips. She returned the kiss, snaking her arm around the back of his head even as they continued to dance. His comlink chirped again, and the girl broke the kiss. Giving him a playful look, she said, "It keeps going off...don't you think you should check it?"

"Not for the galaxy," Markus laughed, and they kissed again.

A third time, the comlink chirped, jolting Markus back to reality. Anyone calling this many times meant it was important, and he could only think of one person who would be trying to reach him this furiously, especially at a time like this. Pulling away from the girl, Markus flipped his comlink open and asked, "Jason?"

"We've got to fall back and go back underground, we can't hold them. You need to get everyone of the street now!" shouted Jason from the other end. In the background, Markus could hear what sounded like blaster fire and crumbling rubble.

"I read you!" shouted Markus back. "We'll link up at the cafe!" Markus was referring to the Spindler Cafe, a small, out of the way joint whose owner, a man named Valken, allowed the Coruscant Security Force to meet in secret in his basement and provided plenty of warning of any approaching Imperials. It was as safe a location as they could have found, and regularly used it as a linkup point.

Putting his comlink away, Markus looked around at the partying, the singing, dancing, and loud music, and felt a bolt of despair and fear rush through him. How could he possibly break this party up? Even if he shouted as loud as he could, no one would be able to hear him or even understand him. It was imperative that all of these people cleared out, however, before the Imperials came rumbling through and massacred anyone who was celebrating. Sighing in resignation, Markus pulled out his holdout blaster pistol and fired it once into the air. People around him screamed in surprise, and the music abruptly stopped. Everyone was staring at him, falling quiet, and Markus was able to shout, "The Imps are coming! Get out of here!"

The screams broke out now louder, but in fear, as people scrambled to get off of the street.
