So you're basically transported into the game which is now your world, but it still works like a game?

More or less.
So, is this a roleplay in a video game?

No. OOC is still under work somewhat but in a nutshell, we'll be following the premise of Overlord; an entire game Guild + 1 Player gets transported to another world.
If you've read everything above and would like to join, send me (HueMan) a PM or post here in the OOC. Once approved, you can join our Discord and start working on a CS.

If you are confused, the simple premise of the story would be is we will design a Guild together after making a Player-character. We will design all aspects of it, anywhere from Guild Hall architecture to NPCs who inhabit it. Afterwards, we'll vote on 1 Player-character who will then be transported to Isekai along with the entire Guild.

Cathedral of the Damned

A few years after Yggdrasil servers opened, a small group of players had decided to form a Guild for themselves. None of them were necessarily looking for wealth and glory through competitiveness but rather, a place to roleplay freely and enjoy the vast, customizable content of Yggdrasil. The group continued to grow and myriad different personalities joined for varying reasons, one central theme was shared among all the members; the love for mystery and the unknown. The initial members were all fans of occult and horror movies; some were into movies, others into games... a few were into myths and legends while the rest were avid fans of the occult subculture.
However, Yggdrasil was not a game of peace and enjoyment. The group, known as 'Cathedral of the Damned', chose to form political alliances with larger Guilds, supplying them with items and information in exchange for protection and amnesty. While small in number, Cathedral of the Damned was not to be taken lightly, for its members all consisted of veteran Yggdrasil gamers who understood the game innately, as only ones so experienced ever could. In the shadows of larger, more combative Guilds, the Cathedral grew strong internally, storing valuable items, collecting information and training new members to all the nooks and crannies of Yggdrasil. All in the group believed that one day, the Cathedral would stand tall and proud, among the top Guilds of Yggdrasil.
Cathedral of the Damned was a unique Guild, more of a true roleplaying Guild rather than a competitive one. A lot of the members' builds and playstyles were never quite top meta, often focusing on the superficial aspects more so than practical. But the unique fighting style, combined with the weapon of fear that came along with the Guild's horror theme, Cathedral managed to stay alive against unfavorable odds; eventually amounting to having cult recognition within the Guild. Cathedral members could never claim to be the most powerful group in Yggdrasil but they were all mostly satisfied with being one of the most colorful Guilds to exist.

Rules of 'Cathedral of the Damned'

1. You must be max Level who's been gaming for 3 years minimum in Yggdrasil in order to join.
2. You must love mystery, horror, occult and the unknown.
3. All your items and currency are communal property of the 'Cathedral'. Private spending of this pool is allowed but must be held accountable for.
4. Style beats practicality.
