The light through the cracked window shone directly across her eyes causing her to stir. She groaned as the pain shot through her head, the light making it worse. She rolled slowly over turning her back to the window. She put her hands to her head as she sat up trying to catch her breath as the pain caused her stomach to clench with nausea. She knew throwing up would make the pain worse, so she forced deep breaths in through her nose and out through her mouth.

She struggled to her feet her lack of balance sending her stumbling into a wall where she leaned heavily for balance while she got her bearings. She looked around and saw a room she didn't recognize. It was a place that had seen better days, the wooden furniture in splinters, the windows broken, and the walls bearing cracks where it looked like the furniture collided before crumbling.

She drew in a deep breath managing to take a few steps before leaning against the extended mantle of a fireplace. She knew she needed to figure out where she was.

"Lets start with what I know. My name is..." She paused her eyes rolling around the room trying to find a clue. "My name is..." She gasped in shock, she couldn't figure out her own name.

"My name is..." She repeated again stumbling towards the remains of a broken window and stared outside. "I don't know my name, but I will figure this out." She whispered softly.

Savannah

I am excited to jump back into things!
Hello there!

I have a story in mind that I am looking for a partner to write with. It is a general idea and I don’t have anything specific in mind as far as an over all point, more of a lets just see how it goes kind of thing.

I prefer to play this out in PM’s, email or hangouts as I work a lot and those are easier for me to follow.

Here is the idea...

YC is a mercenary, you work for a group that has a public, and a very hidden private face. You do all the normal security stuff, personal protection, monitoring etc, but your company also does black ops.

YC is former military, life long bachelor, between 30 and 35.

MC is a divorced RN with a kid, shows zero interest in dating all business but somehow attracts the attention of YC. YC wins her over and they begin to date.

I see this as kind of an opposites attract thing, not to mention the hilarity of YC trying to fit into a ready made family with no idea on how these things work.

PM me for more info or if you have other ideas.

Lu slowly awakened her head spinning with the strange dreams of the night before. Her day had blended into a strange combination of things in her exhausted brain. She slipped out of bed moving slowly. She felt as if she had been beaten with a sock full of rocks. She stretched and yawned hearing Serge’s voice from the living room. She stepped into the door way leaning lightly against the doorframe as she watched him with breakfast.

“Morning.” She said groggily before pushing away from the doorway propelling herself into the living room. She accepted a plate from him before sitting down curling her legs under her. “Do you cook like this all the time?” She asked before taking a bite. She exhaled on a sigh her eyes rolling a little.

“This is amazing” she told him. “I am going to get spoiled if you keep this up.”
