I'm having way too much fun with my Legend of Zelda Encylopedia. This is the game that got me into roleplaying so have a lot invested in it's lore and stories. Too bad can't have all the games too.

Before Glacier could throw she saw the machine manage to grab R'yak by the neck, effectively ending, at least temporarily, her plans to unleash an ever growing Death Ball at the machine. The machine knew tactics for sure and it was using one of the oldest in the book, an enemy for a shield. "Tch, you can't hold onto him forever..." She did not have to wait long as the machine turned up to look at her and threw R'yak straight for her at incredible speeds, obviously trying to break her concentration while continuing to fight the others. She could not dodge so her body reacted accordingly, except for her hand that was continuing to pump up the Death Ball. Bringing her tail in front of her to act like a sort of cushion and spring, R'yak rocketed into her spiraling tail and into her chest, she had braced as much as she could for the impact and managed to deflect R'yak to the right instead of taking the full brunt of his use as a projectile for the machine.

As he bounced off her she could feel her concentration almost slip away but she somehow managed to hold onto it and keep her ground for the most part. The Death Ball was ready and Glacier threw it with all her might at the devastator. The large Cyan energy ball traveled down for a direct hit on their enemy. She noticed Maximus after she had unleashed her attack. Good, the machine might be able to find a flaw in their opponent not readily seen by biologicals, though she had good reason to believe her Death Ball had sufficient enough charge to do some damage to even their steel-hide opponent.
After a little friendly nudge, made a slight change to my first post in case anyway has already read it. Just at the end of it though.
Glacier watched as her shot and R'yak's were intercepted by the robot's own, things were not in their favor to be sure. As she watched the situation continue to grow worse she had to admit something seemed off about the robot, the way it seemed to so easily take their attacks as if they were pea shots trying to take down an elephant. The robot was no doubt strong but that way it seemed rather obsessed with Amber over the rest of the combatants, though Wolf was doing a good job of keeping the machine's attention. Did the machine see her as the biggest threat? Sure she was powerful but no doubt the strongest of them, at least under normal circumstances, would have been Glacier. Something was off, in any event, Glacier quickly boosted up her own power and while her power level shot up greatly she also ran into a barrier. "Curses, if I could just figure out the key to breaking this limiter."

There was not more time to think about it at the moment, action was needed. Glacier assessed the situation, perhaps it was time for something rather powerful to change the tides of battle. Glacier launched into the air behind the robot, making sure to stay away from its visual sensors and raised a palm into the air. Energy quickly gathered above her hand into the form of a giant Death Ball. She just needed a few more seconds and then she would launch her attack on top of the Devastator. As soon as it was complete the Death Ball would smash down on top of the giant with explosive results. R'yak was in the way but Glacier was confident he would notice in time to leap out of the way.
(Amon Crystis)

Amon trotted up to the rather infamous Redheart Refuge. A city that was much more than a glorified refuge camp as it was perhaps the only place left in Equestria where all manner of ponies managed to coexist, well except changelings anyway. Of course at the moment Amon looked nothing like a changeling as he had been traveling in disguise the whole way from House Whitegold, depending on what type of ponies he could meet along the way he had changed his appearance accordingly. For the most part he had managed to avoid other creatures along the way but he had a few close calls but his infiltration skills pulled him through. As he neared the large city, disguised as rather common, pony of fortune he really had to consider the options before him.

Amon was a changeling through and through so at first he had considered attempting to hide his identity but despite how good he was there was always the chance at being discovered. Also when he had paid closer attention to his dream he quickly realized that he had been in his regular changeling form. The dream had a magical air to it, meaning it was some kind of message rather than some random, repeating dream, meaning a vision. He still could not fathom the reason why he, a changeling, had received such a vision but the reality was quickly approaching him as he made his way to the location of destiny. As a vision there was a high chance he was not the only one who had received the dream and therefore, he would be expected to attend the meeting as his true self. The implications of a changeling helping out Equestria was still quite a mindblowing premise, both as a potential act of treachery against his queen and as one of the most unique partnerships in perhaps the history of Equestria.

So Amon had decided that he needed to reveal himself at Redheart's Refuge but the question was when. After considering his options he had decided it would be best to reveal his identity at the gate, so if need be he could escape if needed. Waiting to reveal his identity in the heart of the city would be suicidal. He hoped that he would not need to flee and that by following his vision, he could find a new way of doing things for the greater good of Equestria, and consequently, the Changeling Kingdom.

As Amon approached the gate, still in disguise at this point he noticed what appeared to be the beginnings of a confrontation between two pegasi, who both appeared to be going to the city, meaning they were probably deserters from House Stormwind. He tried to remember if they had appeared in his dreams or not but at the moment he could not remember too many details. As he decided what to do his thoughts were interrupted by a voice coming from behind him on the road, "Whoa there fillies! Y'all just relax fur a spell before any pony does sumthin' they'll be regretin'!" Only one type of pony would speak in such a unique way, an Earth Pony from House Earthborn.

(Sunny Orchards)

It had been a long and dusty road for Sunny as she had slipped through areas full of Earthborn patrols on her way to freedom and a better way of life for everypony. At first she had not given much thought to the dreams but when they had repeated themselves for so darn long she had finally realized that it was calling, for something that she could stake her hoofs in without feeling terrible for helping out a house that would treat another pony so cruelly for just having something that regular earth ponies did not have. Due to her experience seeing firsthand how cruel House Earthborn had become under the Ever Vigilant's iron rule, especially after the incident involving the sawing off of a unicorn's horn when he obviously needed medical attention first, had been more than ready to desert the House, but the dreams had given her the direction she needed to find somewhere she could still make a difference.

As a regular on patrols, as well as being one of the finest Appleoosan Rangers around, Sunny Orchards knew exactly how to survive off the land and avoid her ex-house's army patrols. It had not been easy of course but her skill more than made her able to complete the task and now, the city of her often happening dreams was filling up her vision. She had never been the RedHeart's refuge so it was quite a sight to see for herself. The city was considered to be full of traitors and ponies who did not have the guts to stand up with their brethren and now she was about to become one of those traitors. She felt of course, some sadness for having left her companions in the army but that same army had taken her away from what she loved to do, ranching, and was too hardcore and downright despicable for her to stay. With each step, she was getting closer and closer to a new way of life, though there seemed to be a little trouble up ahead.

In front of her were a pony of fortune, who she admitted she had no real love for since they did whatever the heck kind of job possible for the right amount of coin, and two pegasi, one of which had a sword ready to do battle with the other one. There was going to be no pony blood spilled today on her watch! Without missing a step, Sunny charged forward, "Whoa there fillies! Y'all just relax fur a spell before any pony does sumthin' they'll be regretin'!" Sunny rushed past the pony of fortune and managed to at least get near enough to intervene if necessary. "For land sakes lets not get our mane's in a bunch at the front gates!"
Glacier saw the red eyes in the foliage and was about to fire upon the image in the corner of her vision when, Wolf so rudely and stupidly fired into the forest. Glacier allowed herself a small hiss of disappointment as the area was suddenly covered in fire and smoke, completely blocking her vision of the target. How Wolf thought that blindly firing into the trees was a good idea was beyond her, sure the entity would be smoked out but it also made it impossible to tell how the target was going to leave the area. "Thank you for completely blinding us, I am sure our opponent will make use of your stupidity."

Glacier was quite right in that regard as the new enemy, which seemed mechanical in nature and stood at a good 8 feet tall, sped out of the forest. She was barely able to track it as it sped out but got to see the rather low-blow the opponent gave to Wolf, sending him flying away. Glacier had to admit to finding some pleasure in the dark saiyan's obvious pain, very much deserved. While that had been amusing to watch the force of the blow quickly revealed to Glacier that this opponent would be a hassle to fight against with only a fraction of the power that she should be able to wield. Very quickly Wolf and Amber were given a beating by what apparently was the Devastator. Just for confirmation she tried to get a reading with her scouter but to no avail. The Devastator was making minced meat of the two and once again the two were beaten and thrown around like rag dolls. As the entity stomped over toward Amber and R'yak Glacier decided to intervene.

"The Devastator is it? A pretty small-fry name if you ask me." Glacier touched down between the giant and her semi-comrades, staring down their opponent with a cold stare. "No doubt you've been taking advantage of your new found freedom with the collapse of the Planet Trade Organization." While she was attempting to take its attention she attempted to use her tail to signal to the two behind her to flank their foe. "Well your luck has run out I think." Glacier made sure she was ready to block or dodge at a moment's notice while she pointed a finger at the Devastator and let loose a Death Beam. The thin beam attack was aimed at its left leg in an attempt to cripple her foe to allow her to easily gain the advantage in speed and give the others more time to react. Death Beam attacks because of their concentrated ki tended to have strong piercing power so if the attack hit it had a good chance of inflicting some damage.

It was somewhat frustrating, knowing she had to rely, at least somewhat, on others but until the curse was gone she knew a little battle tactic called teamwork was going to be essential. It would only be temporary, Glacier assured herself as her own battle commenced.
Life is pretty hectic at the moment so not sure when I'll be able to post, we'll see.
Glacier, while she had been following the others initially instead of joining them decided to take a look around herself. With the scouter she could easily keep track of the others so there was no need to waste her time meeting up with them. "The scouter has not picked up anything besides their power levels and from what I gathered the entity should have already made it to Earth which means either the being is hiding its power level or does not have ki in the usual sense. If either are the case I'll have to get visual confirmation of the target." Glacier narrowed her eyes as she flew around, checking for any telltale signs of the intruder. In a sense such a search was right up her alley however, ice-jin as a race tended to not be very adept at sensing opponent's ki, which is a big reason why the trade federation had created the scouter to more easily seek out targets. While ice-jin ki senses were not the greatest their visual tracking abilities and perception where top-notch.

Glacier was keeping about a hundred feet above the tree line as she flew around, checking for anything suspicious that might give away the enemy's position. Broken trees, branches, marks from landing, or other likely signs were what she was devoting her time to observing, though of course a glimpse of the entity itself would prove useful as well. What ended up catching her attention was a depression on the ground, part of a hill had sunk in but the formation was ragged indicating that it was a somewhat sudden and recent collapse and not from a purely natural cause either. It did not have to be the new opponent but more likely than not it had a hand in the collapse, which no doubt had been a cave before whatever it was had struck. Glacier scoured the area around around the cave, concentrating outward from what had been the cave's entrance. The foliage obscured her vision from above but she was confident in her eyesight to be able to detect the slightest movements. If the entity was out there she would be sure to see it.

Taking no chances Glacier made sure she was ready to move at a moment's notice if the enemy decided to try a pre-emptive strike from the trees. Course if it tried, it would be playing right into her hands since the moment it revealed itself she could fight to her hearts content and the others would instantly know its position.
Afraid not, at this point both of the ships have been blown sky high. We have an entity incoming from the solar system and the other saiyan is on Earth with Violet at the moment. You know one thing that doesn't make sense to me is Maximus training as if he could get stronger that way. As a robot isn't his only way to get stronger through upgrades, I understand he can be using the training to up his combat programs but the training itself shouldn't be making him any stronger, just more combat efficient.
Glacier caught the syringe without really bothering to glance at it. As she was doing her own brand of training before coming to the lab she was nowhere close to needing the the strange liquid yet so she quickly fashioned a makeshift satchel and deposited the vial for later. Glacier made sure to pay close attention to the images on the monitors. The ship was destroyed, Violet had found yet another saiyan apparently and now an unknown entity was heading for them. The entity could obviously transverse the harshness of space meaning it at least had all the advantages that the ice-jin had. As Glacier pondered what could be coming she put on her scouter and noted that whatever the thing was, would be arriving soon. The dark saiyan would be there to intercept the being but she doubted he alone would have the power to stop a being that survived the explosion of a space vehicle and flew away at a fair speed toward Earth. If she had access to her full power no doubt she could take on the entity herself but until she lifted the curse drastic measures would have to be taken.

Violet would be able to handle the newcomer so there was only one place where her services would be required. Amber had already left and now it was Glacier's turn. "I will go and intercept the entity along with the dark saiyan and Amber. Soon we will see just what kind of opponent this is." Whatever it was, it was clearly hostile in intent and they needed to take it down before the dark saiyan invasion that was imminent or they would be fighting a war on two fronts. Glacier fiddled with her scanner a bit and nodded when she was satisfied with the results, the distinct power levels appeared on the screen and she blasted off, out of the lab. It would not take her long to catch up.
Name: Sunny Orchards

Appearance: Sunny is a bright yellow-skinned pony, just like her name and is bright as the sun. She has an auburn mane that she keeps in a braid on her left side that reaches to her flank. She often wears a frayed, light brown cowboy hat with a broad brim and a dark brown vest with silver tassels on the edges. Sunny is a very athletically built pony with a strong, supple body that makes her look extremely healthy. Slightly smaller than the average pony, she makes up for that though with her strong will and body. Her cutie mark is a lasso in flight.

Race: Earth Pony

Faction: House Earthborn

Skills: As an Appleoosan Ranger Sunny is a master at disruption and capture tactics. Her mastery with the lasso for instance is so magnificent that she has been able to take a pegasus out of the sky in full evasion mode. Able to use smoke bombs to strategically to blind the enemy or hide allied movements there is little she can’t do with these devices to her advantage, she can also modify her smoke bombs to add various effects to them, such as colors, heavier smoke, or even mix in hallucinogens. A decent trap builder as well, quite a few enemy ponies have fallen to her machinations before such as net and rope traps. Quite an athletic and strong earth pony, Sunny is a lot stronger than she looks and is a fantastic hoof fighter and can take on most ponies in a 1 on 1 fight, though of course she is outclassed by heavily armored foes and those who devote themselves to hoof fighting rather than the lasso.

History: Sunny Orchards grew up in House Earthborn on a rancher’s farm with her family and was indoctrinated from a young age about how the land should belong to the Earth Ponies and Pegasi, with no place for the magical powers of the unicorns. She loved working on the ranch and was especially fond of herding cattle and other animals which gave her an excuse to keep improving her lassoing skills. While she continued to improve herself she reached the age of 12 which made her start training for battle for House Earthborn. After the initial years of training Sunny was quickly pressed into the service of the Appleoosan Rangers under commander Braeburn. Sunny liked the feeling of being helpful to her comrades when she took pegasi out of the sky or used smoke bombs to blind the enemy for the earthborn forces to flank them. However as she found herself being used more and more by the military, giving her less time to spend doing what she loved, ranch work, she started to see the grim side of warfare and House Earthborn’s indoctrination.

One of the first times she saw great injustice was when a unicorn stumbled into the camp she was currently employed in. The unicorn was badly injured and needed medical attention so Sunny quickly brought him in; however, before they would even consider patching the unicorn up the captain of the group insisted that the unicorn’s horn be sawed off before they gave the prisoner of war any medical help. Sunny could see the shape the unicorn was in and tried to persuade the captain to reconsider until after he had been stabilized but the captain refused. Sunny could only watch helplessly as the unicorn’s horn was sawn off, the unicorn screamed in pain and his eyes rolled back into his head after the deed was done. The medical personal came in but by that time, blood loss and the trauma of losing his horn had done their work and the unicorn died on the operating cot. Unicorns might be stuck up and arrogant, but refusing to help the dying unicorn just because he had something they did not until it was too late was just not right.

The event changed her outlook on the conflict and she grew suspicious of House Earthborn doctrine. From time to time she would sneak off while on patrol and see what the rest of the troops were up to. It did not take long for her to notice the terrors the army put on populations they passed, often pillaging, wrecking most abodes, hunting down unicorns, and even pressing some ponies into service. The self-righteousness she had felt before, growing up under House Earthborn doctrine about how horn-less ponies were better than their gifted counterparts, had dwindled to almost nonexistence. Feeling distraught and confused, Sunny was unsure of what to do until a certain dream came to her. After considering what she should do, she followed her heart and deserted House Earthborn.

Other: As a testament to her years as a rancher, Sunny learned how to cook over an open fire for those times on the open plains. She is a decent outdoor cook and can brew a mean coffee as well.
