Desktop profile login won't work. Coincidence that Windows 7 is no longer supported on same day? Consider me doubtful.

I'm having way too much fun with my Legend of Zelda Encylopedia. This is the game that got me into roleplaying so have a lot invested in it's lore and stories. Too bad can't have all the games too.

So at the moment it is on Hiatus, hoping to get some people on board before I get it cranking again.
Good to see some interest. I was also considering making it so time will pass fairly quickly, like every few pages perhaps a few months or a year. That way there can be more character development, dynamics will change, etc.
By the time of this potential roleplay I was thinking the cursed girl would be around 11-13 years old or so.
Baron Asmothe and his wife looked down at the Seer who was busy gazing at a blank piece of paper while a bitter smelling incense burned in a small clay cup next to it. The Seer had come at their request to do a reading on their baby girl who they feared was cursed. There was good reason for this fear as though she had only been alive for 4 months already there had been multiple near fatalities from accidents, sickness, and even an attempted kidnapping. Their little girl had been alive for so little time and yet she had almost died at least 20 times. Currently the girl was sick with appeared to be chicken pox though thankfully they had access to one of the best apothecaries in the nation so she was on the road to recovery.

The Seer was silent still and nothing seemed to be happening, but then, what appeared to be ink started to appear on the piece of paper ever so slowly. With bated breathe they watched as the a picture started to form, a symbol of sorts which only the Seer could decipher. What appeared was something the Seer had never seen before in his readings, a jester appeared in complete, bell adorned outfit, but its face was that of a skull, of death. The Seer realized what it was immediately.

"How troublesome, in all my years I have never seen this sign, and frankly I never wanted to." The Seer complained as he handed over the parchment to the Baron.

The Baron took the parchment and grimaced when he got a closer look. "How bad is it Seer?"

The Seer pinched the bridge of his nose and groaned. "Very bad I am afraid, it is as you feared, the young heiress has been cursed."

"Do you recognize the magic? Can you reverse the curse?" The Baron's wife pleaded with all her might.

"If it were a simple hex by some witch I could probably do something but I am afraid this is much more than that. Your daughter has been born under a most unfortunate sign I am afraid, that of the 'Branded'. I assume your daughter had a birthmark somewhere on her body shaped like a crescent moon?" The Seer asked to make sure correct in his diagnosis.

"Yes, such a mark exists on her side."

"Then I am afraid I am very much correct in my reading. This is a phenomenon that can occur at birth with very specific circumstances. Thankfully the circumstances are so specific that someone born with this brand exists only once every 400 years or more. The person must have been born at precisely noon, during a solar eclipse, on April 1st. Some refer to this brand as the Universe's cosmic joke considering how specific it must be." The Seer sighed as he looked away from the relatively young couple, not really wanting to look at their ashen faces.

"Considering how infrequent it happens, there is little knowledge about this. I will do what I can but frankly there is little I can do without further study, and even then I have no idea if I will be able to find a way to reverse it."

"But there must be something you can do! I can't stand to see my child go through so much danger and pain!" The Baron's wife grasped for any way out of their predicament, pleading with the Seer for help.

The Seer did not turn around. "I am sorry, but there is nothing that I can do at this time. I swear I will search for answers but for now I am afraid the only thing you can do is hire people to protect the child as well as they can. Make sure you keep your medical stores stocked, be wary of strangers, try to keep dangerous objects away from the child, and whatever you do, keep a close eye on her. She will be plagued by bad luck throughout her life for now. I am sorry there is not more I can do."

The Baron put a comforting hand on the Seer's shoulder. "I know you've done your best and I am grateful, at least now we know the cause of her misfortunes. Please, I will help you with everything you need, work as fast as you can to find a way to beat this 'brand'."

"I will do my best, my lord."

The idea is that this young girl was essentially cursed and now needs some real troopers to keep her dying from all manner of things. Kidnappers, assassins, food poisoning, random sharp metal objects, wild animals, diseases, magic, even mother nature herself at times. I kind of got this idea from "Long Live the Queen", a game about a young Queen-to-be that seems to have everything out to kill her. So I was thinking how about a roleplay about the caretakers who are trying to keep this girl from dying every week.

Well thankfully I haven't interacted with anyone yet so just gonna say I'm dropping out. It was fun to make the character but the roleplay has way too many players making it hard to keep track of things. Best of luck, but I just feel that it will be too messy for me to have fun. Take care.

Suzie and Erika

"Oh come on, it will be great! They're trying to get all the magical girls together to defeat the evil monsters! It's like a fantasy alliance come true!" Erika shouted in excitement as she attempted to persuade the diminutive Suzie who glared up at her from underneath what appeared to be a Volkswagon Beetle. Suzie was lying down on a skateboard, poking her head up at the excited blonde with grease over her jumpsuit and face. She looked positively annoyed.

"Yes, just where I want to be, among a bunch of over-zealous or just outright crazy fanatics." Suzie said sarcastically and rolled her eyes up at Erika. "Why don't you just leave without me and go by yourself if you're such a fan girl? I swear you are exactly the definition of a magical girl fan girl gone crazy after been given power." While it was said in jest, Suzie really felt that her assessment was actually not very far off at all, which was a bit disconcerting.

As if to escape Erika, Suzie quickly ducked back under the car to continue the maintenance. This was sort of a side project of her's, ever since she had been gifted with a body with pretty much limitless stamina she had felt the urge to work on something in her free time, midnight was usually a good time to get a lot done, at least on nights she didn't have to trash some random monster.

"Ahh, but then you'll miss out on quite possibly one of the most important meetings in magical girl history!"

"I don't think the world gives a crap about 'magical girl' history unless the world is about to end. I don't want to get more dragged into these messes than I already have to be."

"But I'm sure Metallion would want you to go and check it out. Isn't that right Metallion?" Erika asked the air. Metallion did not really make all that many regular appearances, in fact he preferred to stay out of sight and project his voice through random machinery. The problem was he had horrible control over his voice so it was always dreadfully loud.

"I SEE NO REASON OR ADVANTAGE IN ATTENDING." Suzie winced and covered her ears as Metallion spoke through the car's speaker system on the highest setting possible.

"Of course you wouldn't cause you don't know a blessed thing about other magicals!" Suzie groaned and pushed herself out from under the car to try and recover her hearing. "Ugh, if you say there is no point then there probably is reason to be there."

Suzie slowly turned to Erika, not wanting to see what she knew was going to happen. Erika literally beamed right at her since it seemed like Suzie was changing her mind about going.

"Meh, lets see if my magical washer has anything to say about this meeting." She turned away from Erika and brought out of her pocket a simple, metal washer. The small ring did not seem to be special, but there was power flowing through it that sometimes allowed Suzie to glimpse things.

Holding it up to her right eye she peered through it while thinking about the meeting. Of course there was little chance of actually seeing anything of note, however this was one of those exceptions. She saw many magical girls in various groupings, something was going to happen but before she could glean anything concrete the vision blurred out of existence. "Well that was sooo helpful." She grumbled as she put the washer away.

"Come on let's go!" Erika wined much to Suzie annoyance, unfortunately Erika was very persistent when she was trying to rope her into doing something with her and it was hard to get away. The red-head sighed as she put her tools away while grumbling and before she knew what was going on, she was already on her way with Erika by subway.

After getting out at the nearest station the two made their way to the park where the meeting was taking place. As they were getting closer Suzie started mumbling under her breathe. "Blast it, I should have never come here, what a waste of time, I'm sure it'll just implode in on itself if I know my magical girls."

Erika was practically skipping, no, she was actually skipping her way toward the park without even a care in the world. Suzie sighed and quickly canvased the area as they entered the park. It took only a few looks to notice how tense many of the magical girls were, especially those from Beacon and those with monster or dark powers. If proceedings were not properly moderated things could quickly get out of hand and Suzie had no intention of getting into such a squabble.

Meanwhile Erika looked on in rapture at all the different magical girls in the area and Suzie was afraid she might squeal in delight at any moment. "This. Is. So. Cool!" Erika gazed about wide-eyed, taking in all the different magical girls trying to figure out who she should talk to first. Suzie kept back, trying not to engage as much as possible to avoid troublesome encounters.

@Western Robot

Ally is now complete, everything should be in order now.

My Magical Girl and Patron are done. Though I do have an ally to create as well but that can wait for a bit.
