Most rp's, that I've seen anyway, aren't like that. Look at it this way, this rp has been up for a month already, and we've only gotten this far in our story. Granted, it's a long way for us, the way I see it. But we also have about 10-15 people posting. We've lost a couple of people along the way which also slows things down, but we've not let it stop us. Most of us here work, and/or have other obligations that take us away from the site.
Personally, for me, the whole reason why I joined is because I didn't have to be glued to my computer every moment. I'm sorry if it's slower than you're used to.
