eh, I'm supposed to be part of that truly active group, aren't I? :p And it was an extremely dead day at work, as you can tell, I actually got some writing in HA But I suppose we all have our moments, our strengths and weaknesses, our little quirks :p I'm a bit anal when it comes to certain things :p I'm horrible at spelling, despite how often I read, so I'm usually the person that checks back two or three times to make sure it's perfect. I'm the one that while rp'ing in games like neverwinter nights, I'd window out and google a word just to make sure I was typing it correctly in game :p

@The Fated Fallen see, I like google docs. It saves automatically, it doesn't take up space on my computer, I can access it from anywhere, and it does the same thing as word :p

@Dragoknighte I can link you to her story if you'd like. Mind you, this was written a while ago and while I return to it every now and again, the quality in writing is not the greatest.

In the end, she wad kidnapped by a bunch of merc's who worked for her father. He knew she killed her sister, his pride and joy, and wished to torture and kill Elora. When he kidnapped her, he found out she was pregnant, so his plan was to take her child and have him be his successor. During her imprisonment, she managed to get out and kill her father. But the only way to ensure that her son would get away was if she served as a distraction. In the end, she was executed for her crimes against her family.

The greatest part of writing characters like that is seeing their evolution and development. I had a character, a little similar to Isabeau, but she had her differences. She was the spy, not the assasin though :p Elora was the spoiled rotten neglected child of a rich family who killed her sister. She was so damaged when I started her out and she grew so so much. By the time I wrote her death, I cried. but it was perfect.

I don't think Isabeau is that bad lol while she probably should be, considering why she's on the run in the first place. I can see why playing such a character would be a bit stressful lol it would certainly be challenging for me to portray her that way. Izzy's problem is she knows that her attacks didn't do much. And while she may be a great asset to the group, she has more of a support role. She'll still sleep with one eye open and a hand propped on a dagger somewhere. and @The Fated Fallen I hope you don't get offended by it, but out of everyone so far, all Tirarrian has tried to do since she got there was help. And despite the fact that she drew a weapon, she also asked Edict what was going on before attacking him. She's a bit more logical in thought and so she figures that Tirarrian is the lowest threat out of everyone else :p

Jade’s attack on Edict didn’t surprise her too much. Edict didn’t seem much the type to care what others thought, and often came off brash and combative. He did try to be discreet, Izzy gave him that much and respected his reasons enough not to press the issue any further than Jade had.

“...To be honest, this town is probably fucked!” he barked at Jade, though his voice radiated to all within the group. Izzy let out a soft sigh and brought a hand to her head, attempting to gently rub a headache out. She came to this island seeking sanctuary. She realized peace would never be an option for her, but she never expected all of this.

She was used to playing the part of the observer. And from where she was sitting, this ‘group’ was falling apart quicker than she could spit. Everyone seemed to be going off in their own direction, more or less concerned with their own selves. She couldn’t blame them really, she would’ve normally done the same. But she knew she couldn’t make it out of this all on her own, and so she tried her hardest to communicate that to Robert. Their conversation was brief and she could tell that her ‘charm’ wasn’t winning any favorites as he turned and left the group.

While Isabeau didn’t trust anyone, she did figure the gnome was the least likely to kill her in her sleep. So she kept close to Tirarrian, with the intention of offering any aid she could. There was something else going on though. She could feel it, though didn’t have the slightest idea what it was or what it meant. But she could feel it, deep in her bones, something more was coming …

And so, she spoke up.

“Alright - I think we all need to calm down here. It’s obvious that what just happened still has all of our nerves on edge. It was only when we were all together that the fucking coward decided that it wasn’t worth it. And if things are as bad as he says they are, we’re going to need to stop being at each others throats if we expect to survive. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I didn’t come here to die, and I’d very much like to live another few months thank you very much.” Her voice grew just as her frustration. “Something is coming, can’t any of you feel it?! Robert said he had a room in the Crazy Cat Inn. Hopefully there is a place still standing in this forsaken town where we can all get some rest. I suggest we go there. There, or someplace where our wounded can get proper treatment.” she grumbled quietly. She was determined to get through this one way or another.
