It gets even funnier if you get one of the roleplaying addons that lets people make a roleplaying profile thing and see those of others. I spent many hours just reading their ridiculous character histories and fucked up OOC info. One of my favorites was a list of kinks that went something like "Into futa, vore, ovipositioning, etc., not into any of that gross shit." So much unintentional comedy gold in the RP profiles of those sick little bastards.The classy folks like myself had a basic character profile and said nothing one way or the other about smut in the open.

I see you share my RP style, carry on good sir. I've only RPed on LOTRO and some of those lore breaking RP profiles are hilarious. Sorry but there were no slutty shape shifting foxes in Tolkien's world. I don't know enough about WOW lore to really do it effectively the times I've played. Besides good smut has a good story, it's not just 'let's bang'.

E: Oh god...ovipositioning, vore...wtf. And all I could find on Futa was about taxes, what kind of sick bastards are these people?

I did get pulled over there by a friend (who I frequently had smutty 1 on 1 encounters with) in the last year or so I was playing WoW, and I made some other friends of a similar nature there, but most of those I knew and interacted with were from another roleplaying server that didn't have that reputation.

I went there once for shits and giggles, I don't play WOW but had it installed for the free sample. Bear in mind, I've only played LOTRO, which is pretty conservative about the appearances of their characters and though the RP scene does include smut it's not that visible. Oh not in Moonguard, the amount of stripped down dancing characters and simulated humping going on in Goldshire was unreal. It was hilarious.

Because it allows for a persistent large group chat and it's less shitty than Tinychat and the various other instant messenger programs out there (mainly due to the integration of voice chat that actually works well). The only thing TC has over Skype is the video playing thing, and that isn't really worth the garbage character limit and the lag and so forth.

Or the shitty music choices you're forced to endure.

I've never done forum 1x1 RPs, but I've done plenty in games (World of Warcraft mainly) and chat programs. Well over 50% of them ended up going smutty.
