not really, but from what I learned you field dress as soon as possible "to ensure rapid body heat loss, and prevent bacteria from growing on the surface of the carcass".
Also it's to prevent bile and other organ juices from tainting the meat if they were punctured when your game was killed.

Weapon Magic is a form of Semantic-Type magic, so it can be flexible in that regard. It really does have to be a weapon though—I used this charm as an example in order to not freak out anyone in the shop. It transforms into a magic staff if you feed it some mana.

If I have to define it, I'd say a tool used offensively in order to cause direct damage to a person or thing. But the easiest way to think about it is "If I have to ask 'is this a weapon,' it's not a weapon." Or at least, I won't be able to summon it.

Like from what i understand you can only make certain weapons that you used. Just make them. It seems like you ability is more of you skill in combat than the magic itself.
