Every life supporting planet has a mighty spirit tied to it, meaning that the planet itself is actually kind of like a sentient being. If the planet is on decline than so is the spirit (and vice versa). Although this is top secret information, some planets have ceased all communication with one another, and upon further investigation have found out that said planets have been driven completely insane, destroying almost all life on them besides beings known as Yumei. Normal Yumei are created using the planet's energy and in return they preserve and aid the planet in certain duties, but after going crazy they are being created at such a high rate that all energy is drained from the planet just to create them, and not only that but the Yumei do nothing good in return. They simply use the planet as a Yumei production plant, running it dry and then vanishing to who knows where. The cause of all of this is unknown, but it is known that more and more planets are somehow being infected, there is no known cure, and from first symptoms to complete planetary devastation takes around a year from what has been observed.

The symptoms have begun on our planet. More aggressive Yumei are being created than ever before and more natural disasters are occurring. The odds of humans and the good Yumei surviving are slim. Luckily we're here to help, and we'll have plenty of awesome magic slinging action to help shift the odds back to the side of justice!

Yumei come in many shapes and sizes, although some of the more relatively recent generations have child-like human forms (Yumei don't physically age). No Yumei have reproductive organs (or most other human organs for that matter), but they are made to look human because it's a relatively efficient design to suit their needs and it allows them to better infiltrate human societies to watch over them in secret. This practice of spying was in place even before the Yumei became more aggressive, as humans and Yumei have always had a tense relationship. In the eyes of Yumei, most humans are doing far more harm then good, and in the eyes of humans, most Yumei are manipulative authoritarians trying to force humans to behave how they want. Both sides have a point, but both sides have taken things too far from time to time.

Most of the humanoid Yumei are created with a weapon and a certain type of advanced magic. Common magic is available to all of them and is pure energy based such as shooting out laser beams, force shields, etc. Advanced magic can be almost anything such as fire manipulation but is a harder technique to use, having to turn their energy into their type of advanced magic. Almost all Yumei worth their salt can use energy shields, but most stick to their advanced magic if they have it for everything else because it's often more powerful and common magic is for weaklings, as they put it.

Humans have developed technology to be able to do common magic and prototypes for other types of advanced magic are in the works, but in a straight out fight most humans would be doomed to go up against the Yumei. Rare humans are born with/can achieve magic without technology aiding them (they are called Witches/Wizards). Weapons such as guns are total stinkers against magical shields so might as well be toy popguns.

Expect lots of powerful magic shooting, dodging around, exploding, epic sword fighting, etc. The tone can be serious but mostly adventurous and over the top, us obliterating thousands of cannon fodder Yumei in seconds and leveling forests (at least by the end). Imagine this but in roleplay format. Yumei are often a tad on the bizarre side by human standards, meaning we can have a lot of eccentric characters interacting in humorous ways. The Yumei technically have no gender and can't technically experience romantic feelings, as they were designed, but as the story progresses that can change as they become more and more human.

Any interest? This will probably be casual or advanced.

Name- Rhubarb Clover

The pun is strong with this one. :D

Character accepted.

Instant healing does seem a little much under normal circumstances, but it shouldn't be a problem here. I assume the flower has to touch the person, though?

This thread is so slow lately.

In other words, Evvie's unconscious body is showing more liveliness than this thread.

So would her dead body, at least if she twitched a couple of times.

I... can't even discern what expression that thing's meant to be giving off. My mind doesn't register it as a face at all. I feel so confused.

Don't worry. She's clearly...umm...it was a hot afternoon and someone just poured water onto her back to cool her off. Yeah, that's it.

Sounds good. Should I do the stupid thing and blow us all to Kingdom Come?

That could either be done seriously or be funny in a dark humor sort of way. You have permission to do it either way. Due to my witch being inside a cell she's probably the only survivor.

You guys are free to make a new character or reuse your old ones and hope for better results this time. With less people the difficulty will be lowered.

Carmen could probably make Evvie an armour set fitting most of those specs... with a lot of persuasion. That would all depend on where LeeRoy intends to drop her off, although.

Seeing an unconscious Evvie, she's overwhelmed with the need to give her the best armor ever and get her to safety out of the goodness of her heart.
...no? Well, Evvie can agree to assist her with any one task. Or she can go to Are. But whatever the case she's still unconscious and the battle is moving at a snails pace (or right now not at all). Someone would need to drag her to a more active world or something. Maybe a random NPC (my boy character from the inn), could do that. Or a playable character could throw her through a random portal that shows up. Or someone can just kill her so she can respawn. Snore wants a snack mid battle to hold him over?

not changing regardless of counter-magics, time passage, and other conditions.

Hmm...it seems like her powers mention something that could specifically be used against my character's time magic. Coincidence? Not that I'm bothered by that. A battle between them could be interesting (but not in this roleplay. They'd likely work together the entire time).

With a bunch of people disappearing, how about we say this mini-boss we're fighting ends up killing everyone and we have to reset time. That will allow the new character a chance to come in and allow us all to regroup and see who's still around.
The alchemist plan would work the best to mold the armor to fit her unique body shape (small and with wings/tail openings). Unless you're saying by enchant that he can enchant the metal to attain such a shape. Her alchemist armor would be able to be summoned at will through her fire, so she could have parts of it appear or disappear at will such as over the wings so she can go from protecting them to having the armor go away so that she can fly. This isn't a mandatory feature for this multiverse roleplay right now, but it would be handy to have. I also planned on the armor being able to shape-shift on the hands and feet to grow larger and form claws to become more dragon-like in appearance. Normally the claws are placed up near the knuckles but then they go down onto the finger portions of the gauntlets.
If a djinn isn't usually a type of trivia buff then I could just have a different alchemist character be a trivia buff who gets "outsmarted" by Evvie and forced to create her the "most awesomous armor" as Evvie requested if she wins. The armor can be summoned onto her body in a flash of fire over her entire body. It also sparkles when close to fire. Of course it has a huge amount of durability and fire resistance as well.
