Maybe in 2 to 3 days it will be ready
I thought the witch was older, but a young witch could be a new take on the whole idea of witches usually being all wrinkly and such. A childhood friend could work then.
I'm a guy but my personality is mostly androgynous so I really don't care if I'm confused for a girl. Well, online at least. I'm obviously a guy in real life.

The witch could be a servant who's more than meets the eye, or maybe the mother of a childhood friend of the queen? That would have allowed her to watch over the (at the time) princess while she's playing at her house. Maybe the witch had some sort of a premonition that allowed her to know that this princess would be the one to be queen, or just knew that it would be fate to watch over her, or maybe it's just coincidence (it doesn't have to be that large of a one because she was a princess, after all). Or maybe she even manipulated things to get her to be the one in line to become queen. That would be interesting. Convinced the prince and princess ahead of her to stand down, either kindly or otherwise. One way or another they did choose to do just that. I'm thinking the eldest prince is also a general so he didn't want to leave his troops in their war with the goblins.

It might be interesting if a character tries to assassinate the queen but she spares them from being executed so they realize she's not a bad person like they were told and teams up with her?
The witch is just secret about being a witch and looking over her rather than being secret in not even showing her face, right? Not that I'll only allow the first option.

Maybe our kingdom is on the verge of war with the dwarves and the elves are a mystery who they support. Plus there will be goblin bandits to worry about.
I could see the new queen being hesitant to hire assassins at first, but obviously she may have to and it could add some more moral dilemmas.

People can have more than one character.
You know what? Might as well have the roleplay start on her coronation. That will give her a month to get over her father's death so she will be able to act a little more normal.
Inspired by a Steam game of the same name, although not within the same continuity, this roleplay takes place in a kingdom that just lost it's king to a sickness. Either a king or queen can be the supreme ruler depending on the gender of the child who's eligible (there are no strict gender roles). Although there are two others in front of her eligible to the thrown, they do not take it for whatever reason and it's instead up to a young, inexperienced girl to become the new queen once she turns 18 in a month. Taking advantage of her age, there are those who wish to manipulate her impressionable mind into becoming their puppet. Luckily there are those who wish to aid her in becoming the greatest queen. Then there are those who wish her dead.

Where will you fall in that spectrum? The choice is yours and you can keep your true motivations secret, plotting our downfall from the shadows. You can be any character who will interact with the upcoming queen (or otherwise find a good way to get involved with the plot), which will be a huge range because she has a lot of interaction with commoners and royalty alike. Some people might not like it, but she might even allow her commoner friends around the castle and such. You can be rivals (which might even be her other siblings she is ahead of in the bid for the throne), assassins, mentors, other royalty, butlers, guards, friends, etc.

Most of the roleplay will be everyday life of these individuals as everyone carries out their own plans involving the upcoming queen. There will be some action such as when assassins attack or wars are declared, but most of the time it won't be like game of thrones where everyone is cutting each others heads off all the time. If you leave the roleplay then your character may be assassinated, however.

As for how impressionable the upcoming queen is, I will allow her to be manipulated into many different roles, giving you guys some serious ability to impact not only by your own actions but through hers as well as she follows your lead. For example, if you do a great job convincing her to be ruthless then she might end up that way, but most of the time she'll try to be good. You don't have to spend every post talking to the upcoming queen even if that is the main plot. You guys can also just be talking amongst themselves a lot and coming up to her at your own discretion. After all, not everyone would be crowded around her all the time. That would actually get rather annoying.

There will be magic, but at the moment there's discrimination against magic users. I may or may not have other fantasy races involved as well, depending on what you guys think about that.

Anyone interested? If so then drop by here and say what job you want so it can be reserved for you if it's a one of a kind thing. Most jobs can be held by multiple people such as guards, so if that's the case you don't need to feel rushed to claim the position but it would still be nice just in case and people will know what other positions still don't have anything.
But if you get cut off from oxygen, if all it does is burn ingested food, why would you die so fast?

Yumei have magical energy running through their body rather than blood, so wouldn't be carrying oxygen, so wouldn't need lungs, so wouldn't need food, so wouldn't need to eat.

Or they do eat and have lungs just like a human.
Every life supporting planet has a mighty spirit tied to it, meaning that the planet itself is actually kind of like a sentient being. If the planet is on decline than so is the spirit (and vice versa). Although this is top secret information, some planets have ceased all communication with one another, and upon further investigation have found out that said planets have been driven completely insane, destroying almost all life on them besides beings known as Yumei. Normal Yumei are created using the planet's energy and in return they preserve and aid the planet in certain duties, but after going crazy they are being created at such a high rate that all energy is drained from the planet just to create them, and not only that but the Yumei do nothing good in return. They simply use the planet as a Yumei production plant, running it dry and then vanishing to who knows where. The cause of all of this is unknown, but it is known that more and more planets are somehow being infected, there is no known cure, and from first symptoms to complete planetary devastation takes around a year from what has been observed.

The symptoms have begun on our planet. More aggressive Yumei are being created than ever before and more natural disasters are occurring. The odds of humans and the good Yumei surviving are slim. Luckily we're here to help, and we'll have plenty of awesome magic slinging action to help shift the odds back to the side of justice!

Yumei come in many shapes and sizes, although some of the more relatively recent generations have child-like human forms (Yumei don't physically age). No Yumei have reproductive organs (or most other human organs for that matter), but they are made to look human because it's a relatively efficient design to suit their needs and it allows them to better infiltrate human societies to watch over them in secret. This practice of spying was in place even before the Yumei became more aggressive, as humans and Yumei have always had a tense relationship. In the eyes of Yumei, most humans are doing far more harm then good, and in the eyes of humans, most Yumei are manipulative authoritarians trying to force humans to behave how they want. Both sides have a point, but both sides have taken things too far from time to time.

Most of the humanoid Yumei are created with a weapon and a certain type of advanced magic. Common magic is available to all of them and is pure energy based such as shooting out laser beams, force shields, etc. Advanced magic can be almost anything such as fire manipulation but is a harder technique to use, having to turn their energy into their type of advanced magic. Almost all Yumei worth their salt can use energy shields, but most stick to their advanced magic if they have it for everything else because it's often more powerful and common magic is for weaklings, as they put it.

Humans have developed technology to be able to do common magic and prototypes for other types of advanced magic are in the works, but in a straight out fight most humans would be doomed to go up against the Yumei. Rare humans are born with/can achieve magic without technology aiding them (they are called Witches/Wizards). Weapons such as guns are total stinkers against magical shields so might as well be toy popguns.

Expect lots of powerful magic shooting, dodging around, exploding, epic sword fighting, etc. The tone can be serious but mostly adventurous and over the top, us obliterating thousands of cannon fodder Yumei in seconds and leveling forests (at least by the end). Imagine this but in roleplay format. Yumei are often a tad on the bizarre side by human standards, meaning we can have a lot of eccentric characters interacting in humorous ways. The Yumei technically have no gender and can't technically experience romantic feelings, as they were designed, but as the story progresses that can change as they become more and more human.

Any interest?
.
Unintentional moral dilemma for you guys. If the humanoid Yumei and intelligent and develop human emotion, yet are no different then most other types of Yumei besides appearances, the random cannon fodder monster looking Yumei could still be just as intelligent and have feelings, yet will be obliterated in droves. Have fun.
They are still the bad guys though and it would be kind of like humans and animals; technically quite similar but the small changes make a big difference.

Do you think Yumei should have to eat? I was originally not intending them to, but that could easily blow their cover if they are trying to blend in but not able to eat anything without, what, dying, if they can't digest it? Unless they stealthily vomit it back up later. But with no digestive system it would just go into their lungs. I guess eating it is, but they don't have to eat very often unless they want to. Maybe their stomachs can dissolve things all by itself. Their number of organs are limited and highly different than human ones.
