I like gun battles only if I have a gun, in general, although I think Clockwork was indeed a very fair character even if he could curbstomp Evvie, it's not like he'd curbstomp everyone without a gun, especially not every time.

In general I'll stick to non gun related battles if I can help it. Raln, my character in the tournament, is one of the few I have for his power level that I feel comfortable with who can fight gun users decently enough without a gun of his own. I actually think he could beat a tank if I get really strategic and lucky with him. I'll only use characters like him for tournaments with gun users allowed.

The way I see it, people just need to be more comfortable in saying, "you simply missed" or "it hit me a lot but in non vital spots so it's fine, people survive with multiples shots in real life all the time" and let that be the end of it in order to balance guns out.

Allison ate the fry with her free hand, genuinely enjoying it if the look on her face was to be believed. This helped her look natural and cover up her evil intentions. After all, what assassin would be enjoying fries at a time like this with her victim?

"Thanks. Perhaps I should give you something in return," Allison said innocently, rummaging through her pockets. Not waiting for a reply, she then swiftly raised her gun and fired three shots towards his center of mass, skipping backwards into the surprised crowd so that if he tried to counterattack she would have gotten a lot of distance away by the time he could react and would even have some handy meat shields. She was still close enough with her first shot to have it near point blank.

Work today left me with a lot of time to think so I got a ton of the basic game mechanics thought up (enough to make it playable). I should have the OOC posted by the next time I have a day off. It won't be anywhere near complete but will have the basics and then we can test the mechanics out and expand on it once we know the basics are good. Maybe we can fight the goblin replacement race for our test.

The main thing not done will be abilities, but if you guys have abilities you really want then be sure to tell me. For our test we can have abilities even if not the right level just to see how they all work out.

Evvie's face showed her surprise when she couldn't break her way out of the trap. Her fire and physical strength combined wasn't enough?! This woman was even more dangerous then she had realized! The island of sand all around her was falling into the water and she along with it, any amount if strength doing no good to try and maintain her ground under this circumstances. It was hard to retain her focus and the armor was weighing her down anyways, so she let it slip away as she slipped into the water, the metal dismissing itself in a flurry of bubbles due to the fire that normally accompanied it being quenched instantly.

She kicked and flung around the sand a bit as she flailed helplessly in the water, unable to swim even without the magical water keeping her down. Her struggling eventually ceased and her eyes closed, her consciousness fading into nothingness.
