Would it be better if I forfeit this turn and just pretend she's still advancing up the stairs while you do your thing, then she'll be ready once Melon does his plan?
Ever heard of Elfen Lied? I have a character in mind who is sort of like that but can attach his ability on to stuff outside his body. His magic is visible but in terms of attack power, there you go.
Raln and Allison are both intelligent with less exploitable weaknesses and are doing much better like you said. I might make one more balanced character like that but the rest will be like normal. And by balanced I mean specifically designed to crush you all. :D
I'm going to need to organize all my characters once I reach 200 to see who is a main character of each setting all the characters come from. Some of my characters may be the only one I have from the setting but still might be minor characters or I could just tag them on to another setting. Some could be super main characters if groups of main characters get together in my multiverse setting and one of them is the main one. Or I could call that multi-main. However, for things like the avengers I guess they all would be the main characters so it might be similar.
Not sure what direction your going to go, but interaction between my Kitsune's and yours would be interesting. (though I was going to make them an all female race. XD)

Hence why my kitsune is a trap, a male one. In my lore the male children would just be human, normally. I would have to alter some stuff but could fit my kitsune into that lore as well.
Vsauce is my favorite for some interesting science, not counting Game Theory.

Lindybeige is good in addition to Skallagrim and discusses roleplaying a fair amount.
Right now I have so many tabs open on my browser and a handful of PDFs of Kitsune Lore from various cultures.

Were you the one interested in my Kitsune-like trap character?
I mean, I might not have even learned that their are four fundamental stats of matter not three(never mind that only 1% of the universe is made up of liquid, solid and gas's) as we have been lead to believe in school. Goes to show you the Arena is where you go to really learn SCIENCE!

You must become more of a nerd so that you can know earlier on about plasma from videos about how real life lightsabers would work.
Raln spotted movement and the glint of a weapon sight within a group of nearby trees, one of the only hiding places around that would allow him to take such a shot, so not surprising that it would come from there. He quickly darted behind the tree. The bullets, unexpectedly slowed down, flew past him, spraying chunks of bark as the unfortunate tree was the one to take the brunt of the attack rather than himself. That was good to know. He could dodge bullets much easier in this tournament setting, but he still had to be careful and watch where his target was aiming in order to have a better chance to dodge.

However, apparently not, because the man put away his gun and instead pulled out a melee weapon, which Raln noticed as he peaked around the other side of the tree. Testing out his swordsmanship, Raln flung his dagger with an underhanded thrust so that the weapon flew straight as an arrow, aimed at the man's head. While this was going on he extended his left hand, causing grey mist to begin to swirl together in bullet shape in front of it, but it would be a couple seconds before it was ready so he would have to wait for that while he watched the results of the other attack and got a second dagger into began to draw his sword with his right hand.
I've always thought the multiverse needed an ultimate goal to motivate the characters and drive events. A main quest to complete. Perhaps a simple collect-the-McGuffins for ultimate power? Therefore, people with similar goals, such as world peace or destruction would band together.

I have a persistent world idea where that's the case. I mentioned it here but you were not around. Have you heard about the fighting game called skullgirls? It's inspired by that. People will try to find a special artifact that will grand their wish and give you special powers but you will become the next target of the other people wanting the artifact, so will likely team up to take you down. If your heart and wish isn't pure then it's super easy for your wish to become corrupted and there's a voice in everyone's head trying to corrupt them the closer they get to the artifact, twisting their good intentions to something sinister.

Np, RL always comes first, besides I get to procrastinate some more!!

Taking notes from my character-a-day strategy, I see.
