A while into the future, in a galaxy far, far away yet connected by a wormhole...
PREMISE
Welcome, everyone, to a sci-fi setting in the making called the Andreemea Galaxy! This is a massive undertaking of mine, but do not be alarmed if you're looking for a simple experience. This setting is going to be the foundation for many different possible roleplays covering all genres, but if you're only interested in a single idea then all you have to do is join that one roleplay. However, if you, like me, would enjoy creating a massive galaxy filled with tons of experiences over the years, this will be absolutely perfect for you! But first, let's get to the meat of the setting to see if it fits how you view sci-fi:
1. It's not hard sci-fi where everything must align perfectly with real world physics. You will see shield generators, dog fighting in space, massive structures, etc. However, don't think there will be space stations the size of Jupiter that can blow up the universe either. Imagine like Star Wars in nature. There will be in universe explanations for everything (even if we glance over it or bend reality a bit, as long as it still makes sense).
2. This is it's own setting, so while you can borrow ideas from elsewhere, the main canon will not allow you to just say "oh, and a wookie jedi ran up and said hello!". There will be separate canons for any ideas you can think of, such as Star Wars vs. Andreemea, but this is not my focus.
3. Magic will be more prevalent than in a lot of sci-fis. Not everyone can use magic by any means, but it won't be like the jedi where only a few can use it, and there's tons of different magical abilities.
STORY IDEAS
Here is a collection of story ideas I have in mind for the near future. However, you guys can suggest your own. If you'd like to participate in a certain idea, please say so. There's so many ideas we can go with in this setting that's it's mind boggling, so lets start out with only a few and work our way up from there over time.
Idea #1. This one is almost for sure going to be done. The plot is that we are all crewmembers (or otherwise stay on board) on a ship called the Exeralune, patrolling the galaxy for certain plots in tv show format, meaning that a lot of them are self contained stories with some plotlines arcing through various "episodes" such as a bounty hunter who tries to track us down or something on various encounters. This is a good main roleplay for Andreemea as it's about exploring various worlds, building up the universe lore with every new experience. Each "episode" idea can be pitched by any of us so that we can explore your own planet, races, etc, giving them the spotlight for a bit.
Interest CheckIdea #2. Another good starting roleplay and possibly just as long lasting as #1. However, it's more about the daily life in a large city. How would these alien races interact in their every day life? There can be comedy, drama, character development, you name it. Different plots can be discussed about this premise, so we can agree to make a roleplay pure comedy and over the top, or we can agree to go in another direction.
Idea #3. An alien invasion by a race of beings called the Revern devastated a swath of the galaxy in what is known as the Dire Onslaught. In the war path of such a violent struggle, the cream of the crop survived by way of what dwindled down to 89 warriors guiding roughly 500,000 civilians to safety, the only survivors of a collection of 14 planets plus refugees from elsewhere that was in the area. These elite warriors have since gone their separate ways for a decade, but something causes a team of them to form up once again. Each a one man army in their own right, they're up against a truly dangerous foe.
Idea #4. A fighter pilot focused one involving the origin story of a fighter wing that will become important to various events within Andreemea later on. A seemingly invincible, cloaked ship has been showing up, devastating things in the area before they know what hit them, and then making off as quickly as it came. Surviving fighters from various squadrons band together to try and put up a fair fight against it (in the opening scene of the roleplay) but barely escape with their lives as it brings company. They are tasked with tracking it down and somehow beating it while improving their skills and holding off the other mysterious alien fighter planes serving it.
Idea #5. The UNT, the main good guy alliance of this setting, is experiencing a deadly rebellion on planet Vulstar, as part of the Vulstar System of Planets. Known as the Vulstar Rebellions, these become important later on as a hidden enemy grows in power. This is a roleplay focused on war between the rebel and UNT forces as well as uncovering the truth of what their foe really is.
Idea #6. A nation roleplay. Pretty self explanatory. It will take place in it's own canon. You can make up your own nation or use one of mine. In this canon a wormhole has opened up a faraway galaxy and a struggle for control of it's arm commences.
Idea #7. Various arena based fights can spring up. Thanks to virtual reality they can partake in dangerous combat without actually dying for the purpose of spectators or training. There's also a popular sport where people use tanks to fight each other; the cockpit protected from the lower grade weaponry allowed so that they don't get seriously harmed but the tank itself can be destroyed to give the illusion of danger. There are numerous other options we can go with.

HereYou can contribute to it as well! People have done so in past roleplays but this is a major reboot. Look at the Q&A and the guides and you'll be well on your way to knowing all of the basics. If you don't want to contribute anything than you don't have to and all you need to know will be in the OOC besides the finer details such as if you want to know the backstory of something or exactly how a race looks like. It's main purpose is to be an easy reference so you don't say, "wait, how did that guy look again?" and then look at a different roleplay through 100s of pages to find his description.
I think I got everything pretty much edited out if it's no longer canon, but if you spot something weird than feel free to let me know. Also, if you'd like more info on something, I'd love to provide it once I get around to it. There's still plenty of stuff I need to do on it. Why post this if it's not all 100% ready, you ask? Well, it would be delayed months and we can proceed with roleplays without the wiki 100% ready to start, as info can be placed in as needed.
