Her attack was interrupted, Vincy could tell, before she could properly reach him, as his legs were far longer than her arms. Her surprise attack didn't cut the mustard here, as humans would say. She never cut mustard before, but that was besides the point. Her arms instinctively reached out not to defend herself, but to begin wrapping around the incoming limb; her left over the top and her right underneath. Her body bent at what appeared to be an uncomfortable angle at the point of impact against her side muscles at the moment her arms crossed against each other behind his knee.

She began to fly off to the side but snagged forcefully against his knee, coming to an abrupt stop as her arm muscles strained against the outward force. It helped that her arms couldn't rip out of their sockets like a normal person. All of this happened so fast that she was unsure what would have happened to her opponent during this time until she felt her feet touch down again, having the briefest of moments sailing through the air.
A swarm of rats scurried along the dirty streets with teenage boy in tow, dressed in a tattered grey pinstripe vest, white button down shirt, black slacks, well worn penny loafers, and a fedora atop his head. He had curly dirty blonde hair peeking out from under his hat and squinty brown eyes. Dirt coated his entire body, as if he hadn't showered in weeks, which was probably correct.

"Yes, my children! Flee!" He shouted after them. "Or else the cat woman shall gobble you up, and myself as well!"

The bystanders stood well clear of this orphan boy and the rats, giving him weird looks as he passed by them in a hurry. However, less and less bystanders were around these parts, and pretty soon he was in a deserted alleyway. It was a shortcut to the police station once he snuck through a hole in the chain link fence at the end. He had witnessed a gang called the Bombers plotting something big, and he had al the evidence he needed to get a swarm of officers to their hideout. Perhaps he'd get a great reward for his heroics once all was said and done. What he would do with that money he didn't know, for he never had much to spend in the first place. Maybe rat food for his loyal minions? Yes, that would do it.

"Charlie, my boy, you've done it again!" He congratulated himself as he made his way through the corridor; only the sound of his footsteps echoing down it and the rats scurrying about could be heard.
An orphan who believes he has control over rats witnesses a crime perpetrated by a gang called the Bombers. He plans on contacting authorities with valuable intel on them, but one of the members spots him before he can do so and a fight begins.
"Oof!" Vincy grunted as the impact struck true, although from the forced expulsion of air from her lungs and perhaps a tad bit of surprise of his sudden offensive rather than any cry of pain. She was knocked backwards a couple of feet as her stomach caved, backpedaling and waging her arms around until she was able to regain her balance and come to a stop. She stood up straight, eyes focused on him. No wonder he gave everyone else a hard time. Now that she was ready for him she could have an easier time keeping up with her greater mobility, but his strength was enough to knock her around a bit.

She sprinted forward to try and capitalize on her opponent's possible confusion about her not being out for the count. She was much shorter than him so she couldn't get to his face easily, so she did the next best thing and went for the groin uppercut right off the bat. Perhaps lizards didn't have them, but this guy was humanoid so that could overrule this fact.

All universes are created by Gods or Titans, timeline realities are purely theoretical in my mythos.

Gods are not super special in mine. Mortal beings can overcome them in some instances. They are not responsible for all of creation, although they did set it in motion so it depends on point of view. As a collective they can be super duper powerful though. They are kind of spread out now and don't like working together very much.
So do you have it where every decision sprouts a new alternate reality where every outcome is created as its own universe? I'm wondering how multiverse theory works in real life, like where is all the energy coming from to form all these infinite realities, and why?

I'm probably going to have mine where they just have potential to exist when interacted with as if it always existed, so like it's encoded as cosmic data before becoming real. Maybe.
I'll shoot for a post tomorrow.
@LeeRoy, the main idea of the multiverse is central, but there's still plenty of room for convoluted plots and ulterior motives. A civil war happens between Ruling Candidates, for example, as they have power struggles.

VSauce on youtube has interesting videos about infinities and whatnot that you should check out.

My multiverse can link itself to any of the vast realities, but they're not anywhere close to all linked and might as well not exist as far as the multiverse concerns itself with, so although possibly infinite large if it took in everything, it is not in reality. For example, there could be a reality where a superman-like figure flips a coin and in one reality it's heads and one it's tails, but that doesn't mean both realities can get into the multiverse and you have two super men joining the fray. It mainly connects to main branches of things rather than offshoots, so it could decide on the reality of him flipping heads as the main one connected to the multiverse and you're stuck with that specific version of the super man. There are multiple different versions of earth (earth being nothing special) and other planets, but on a limited scale where drastic changes happen, like if dinosaurs never went extinct, so the odds of two Evvies showing up from different realities of her world are slim, and if they did would likely be vastly different. Some people can force connections/take one way trips to non connected realities, but this is difficult.

@ImportantNobody
I haven't the slightest clue what your setting is about bro, tbqh. No offense but I don't really follow anyone but like, @MelonHead's lore or universe. So I don't really know about your mythos or anything.

My multiverse has a primary conflict between grey and grey morality forces. On one hand is the people that want to bring order to the chaotic new multiverse. Many worlds are in tatters and abused by more powerful ones, so they desire a strong central force to unify the multiverse and stop such bad guys. They are supported by a being who created a Right of Rule artifact to choose the leader. Only someone who can amass great power and loyalty would be able to get their hands on it, as they need many allies to travel the multiverse in search for it.

Opposing them are people who fear the new government and ruler who will abuse their power and be nearly unstoppable if they don't put an end to it before it begins. They are especially interested in eliminating Ruling Candidates (people making a bid for the Right of Rule search) who they mistrust the most.

Both sides have tons of wrong and right reasons to support them and eac side fuels the fire as they believe they are in the right and can't back down.

A main hero group, Phoenix Call, sides with a ruler who they believe might lead the multiverse well enough, but they do admit that things will probably get out of hands sooner or later and they will have to kill members of the government they help founded. Evvie became a temporary members of Phoenix Call but sides with the rebels on a couple occasions, where Phoenix Call is more for te authority path most of the way.

They break the blade of Right to Rule into pieces using the main heroes weapon that can break practically anything, so multiple rulers take a piece and the current head uses the handle. Left in one piece, the wielder could basically rule everyone with forced loyalty to their every command, which could Have ended all wars in the multiverse, but yeah...
Don't you die on me, multiverse!
